< Abafiripi 2 >
1 Kale bwe wabaawo okubazaamu endasi kwonna mu Kristo, oba okusanyusa kwonna okw’okwagala, oba okussa ekimu mu mwoyo, oba okwagala okw’engeri yonna, oba okusaasira,
If [there is] any therefore encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if (any *N(k)O*) affections and compassions,
2 mutuukirize essanyu lyange, mulowoozenga bumu, nga mulina okwagala, n’omwoyo gumu, nga mulowooza bumu,
do fulfill my joy so that the same you may be minded, the same love having, united in soul, the same thing minding,
3 nga temukola kintu na kimu olw’okuvuganya wadde okwewaana okutaliimu, wabula mu bwetoowaze nga buli muntu agulumiza munne okusinga bwe mwegulumiza mwekka,
nothing according to self-interest (nor *N(k)O*) (according to *no*) vain conceit but in humility one another be esteeming surpassing themselves;
4 nga buli muntu tatunuulira bibye yekka, naye ng’afaayo ne ku by’abalala.
not the [things] their own (each one *NK(o)*) (considering *N(k)O*) but also the [things] of others (everyone. *N(k)O*)
5 Mubengamu endowooza eri eyali mu Kristo Yesu,
This (for *k*) (do be thinking *N(k)O*) in you which also in Christ Jesus [was]:
6 ye newaakubadde nga yali mu kifaananyi kya Katonda, Teyeerowooza kwenkanankana ne Katonda,
Who in [the] form of God existing not something to be grasped considered to be equal with God,
7 wabula yeewaayo n’afuuka ng’omuddu, era n’azaalibwa ng’omuntu, era n’alabikira mu kifaananyi ky’omuntu,
but Himself emptied [the] form of a servant having taken, in [the] likeness of men having been made,
8 ne yeetoowaza, n’aba muwulize n’okutuukira ddala ku kufa, ate okufa okw’okukomererwa ku musaalaba.
And in appearance having been found as a man He humbled Himself having become obedient unto death, [the] death even of [the] cross;
9 Katonda kyeyava amugulumiza, n’amuwa erinnya erisinga amannya gonna;
Therefore also God Him highly exalted and granted to Him (the *no*) name above every name,
10 buli vviivi ery’abo abali mu ggulu n’abali ku nsi, era n’abali wansi w’ensi liryoke lifukaamirirenga erinnya lya Yesu,
that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow in the heavens and on earth and under the earth,
11 era buli lulimi lwatulenga nga Yesu Kristo ye Mukama, Katonda Kitaffe aweebwe ekitiibwa.
and every tongue may confess that [is] Lord Jesus Christ to [the] glory of God [the] Father.
12 Noolwekyo abaagalwa, nga bwe muli abawulize bulijjo nga ndi nammwe, kaakano nga bwe siri nammwe mube bawulize nnyo n’okusinga bwe mwali. Munyiikirenga okukola ebiraga nti mwalokolebwa, nga mutya era nga mukankana.
Therefore, beloved of mine, even as always you have obeyed, not as in the presence of me only but now much more in the absence of me, with fear and trembling your own salvation do work out;
13 Kubanga Katonda yakolera mu mmwe, era yabaagazisa n’abasobozesa okukola by’ayagala, olw’okumusanyusa.
(*k*) God for is the [One] working in you both to will and to work according to [His] good pleasure.
14 Buli kye mukola mukikolenga awatali kwemulugunya wadde empaka,
All things do perform without murmurings and disputings,
15 mulyoke mube nga temuliiko kyakunenyezebwa nga muli balongoofu, mube abaana ba Katonda abatalina bbala, wakati mu mulembe ogwakyama era omwonoonefu, mwe mubeere ekyokulabirako eky’amaanyi mu nsi,
so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God (blameless *N(k)O*) (in *k*) ([the] midst *N(k)O*) of a generation crooked and perverted among whom you shine as lights in [the] world,
16 nga munyweza ekigambo ky’obulamu gye bali, ndyoke mbeere n’eky’okwenyumiriza ku lunaku lwa Kristo, okulaga nti ssaddukira bwereere so ssaateganira busa.
[the] word of life holding forth, unto a boast to me myself in [the] day of Christ that not in vain I did run nor in vain toil.
17 Naye singa ddala nfukibwa ng’ekiweebwayo ekyokunywa ku ssaddaaka ne ku kuweereza okw’obwakabona okw’okukkiriza kwammwe, nsanyukira wamu nammwe mwenna.
but if even I am being poured out on the sacrifice and on [the] service of the faith of you, I am glad and I rejoice with all you;
18 Era nammwe musanyukire wamu nange.
And likewise also you yourselves do be glad and do rejoice with me.
19 Mukama waffe Yesu bw’alisiima nsuubira okubatumira mangu Timoseewo, ndyoke ntereere omwoyo nga ntegedde ebibafaako.
I hope however in [the] Lord Jesus Timothy soon to send to you, that I myself also I myself also may be encouraged having known the [things] concerning you;
20 Kubanga tewali mulala alina ndowooza nga yange,
No [one] for I have like-minded, who genuinely the [things] relative to you will care for;
21 kubanga abalala bonna beenoonyeza byabwe ku bwabwe, so si ebya Yesu Kristo.
Those all for the [things] their own are seeking, not the [things] (*k*) Jesus of Christ;
22 Naye ye Timoseewo mumumanyi nga bw’asaanira, kubanga aweerereza wamu nange, ng’omwana bw’akolera awamu ne kitaawe nga tukola omulimu gw’okubuulira Enjiri.
But the proven worth of him you know, that as a father [with] a child with me myself he has served in the gospel.
23 Kale oyo gwe nsuubira okubatumira amangu ddala nga naakamanya nga bwe nnaabeera.
Him indeed therefore I hope to send when maybe (I may have seen *N(k)O*) the [things] concerning me myself immediately;
24 Naye nkakasa nti Mukama waffe bw’alisiima, nange nze kennyini sirimala bbanga ddene nga sinnajja eyo.
I have been persuaded however in [the] Lord that also I myself soon I will come.
25 Era ndabye nga kisaanye okubatumira owooluganda Epafuladito mukozi munnange, era mulwanyi munnange, naye ate nga mutume wammwe, omuweereza ow’eby’obwakabona ow’eby’etaago byange,
Necessary now I esteemed [it] Epaphroditus the brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier of mine, of you now messenger and minister of the need of mine, to send to you;
26 ayagala ennyo okubalaba, mwenna, eyeeraliikirira ennyo olw’obutabalaba, kubanga mwawulira nga yalwala.
since longing after he was all you (to see *O*) and being deeply distressed because you heard that he was ill.
27 Ddala yalwala era yali kumpi n’okufa. Kyokka Katonda yamusaasira, naye era teyasaasira ye yekka, wabula nange yansaasira ennaku n’eteenneeyongera.
And indeed he was sick nearly (unto death; *NK(o)*) but God had mercy on him not on him now alone but also on me myself, that not sorrow upon sorrow I may have.
28 Noolwekyo nayagala nnyo okumutuma gye muli mulyoke musanyuke okumulaba nate, ekyo kikendeeze ku nnaku gye nnina.
All the more speedily therefore I have sent him, that having seen him again you may rejoice, and I myself and I myself less anxious may be.
29 Kale mumwanirize nnyo n’essanyu lyonna mu Mukama waffe, era abantu abali ng’oyo mubassangamu ekitiibwa,
do receive therefore him in [the] Lord with all joy and such in honor do hold;
30 kubanga yabulako katono okufa ng’ali ku mulimu gwa Kristo, ng’akola ebyo bye mwandinkoledde singa mwali nange.
because for the sake of the work (*k*) (of Christ *NK(O)*) unto death he came near having disregarded [his] life so that he may fill up the of you deficit of toward me service.
