1 Awo olwatuuka ku lunaku olwo, Musa bwe yamala okusimba Weema ya Mukama, n’agifukako amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni n’agitukuza ne byonna ebikozesebwa mu yo, era n’afuka amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni ku kyoto n’akitukuza n’ebintu byakyo byonna.
On the same day that Moses finished putting up the Tabernacle, he anointed it and dedicated it, along with all its furniture, the altar, and all its utensils.

They brought to the Lord an offering of six covered wagons and twelve oxen. Each leader gave an ox, and two leaders shared in giving a wagon. They presented them in front of the Tabernacle.
4 Mukama Katonda n’agamba Musa nti,
The Lord told Moses,
5 “Bye baleese bibaggyeeko, binaakozesebwanga ku mirimu gy’omu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Bikwase Abaleevi, nga buli mulimu gwa buli omu bwe gwetaagisa.”
“Accept what they're giving you and use them in the work of the Tent of Meeting. Give them to the Levites to use as required.”
6 Bw’atyo Musa n’addira amagaali n’ente n’abiwa Abaleevi.
Moses accepted the wagons and oxen and handed them over to the Levites.
7 Amagaali abiri n’ente nnya yaziwa batabani ba Gerusoni, ng’emirimu gyabwe bwe gyali,
He gave two wagons and four oxen to the families of Gershon to use as they required.
8 n’addira amagaali ana n’ente munaana n’abiwa batabani ba Merali, ng’emirimu gyabwe bwe gyali; bonna nga bakulemberwa Isamaali mutabani wa Alooni, kabona.
He gave four wagons and eight oxen to the families of Merari, to use as they required. The work was all to be done under the direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
9 Naye abaana ba Kokasi, Musa teyabawaako, kubanga ebintu ebitukuvu bye baalinako obuvunaanyizibwa baabitwaliranga ku bibegabega byabwe.
He didn't give any wagons or oxen to the Kohathites because their responsibility was to carry on their shoulders the holy objects assigned to their care.

The day the altar was anointed, the leaders came forward with their dedicatory offerings, presenting them in front of it.
11 Mukama n’agamba Musa nti, “Buli lunaku omukulembeze omu anaaleetanga ekiweebwayo kye olw’okutukuza ekyoto.”
The Lord told Moses, “Have one leader come every day and present his offering for the dedication of the altar.”
12 Eyaleeta ekiweebwayo kye ku lunaku olusooka yali Nakusoni mutabani wa Amminadaabu ow’omu kika kya Yuda.
The first day Nahshon, son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah came forward with his offering.

The animals presented as a peace offering were twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty one-year-old male lambs. This was the dedicatory offering for the altar once it had been anointed.
