1 Bino bye bitundu by’olugendo lw’abaana ba Isirayiri olwabaggya mu nsi y’e Misiri mu bibinja byabwe, nga bakulemberwa Musa ne Alooni.
These are the iourneyes of the children of Israel, which went out of the land of Egypt according to their bands vnder the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Musa yawandiika buli kitundu ky’olugendo we kyatandikiranga, nga Mukama Katonda bwe yamulagira. Bino bye bitundu ebyo:
And Moses wrote their going out by their iourneies according to ye commandement of the Lord: so these are ye iourneies of their going out.
3 Abaana ba Isirayiri baasitula okuva e Lamesesi ku lunaku olw’ekkumi n’ettaano olw’omwezi ogw’olubereberye, nga lwe lunaku oluddirira Embaga ey’Okuyitako. Baasitula n’obuvumu awatali kutya, nga beeyagala, ng’Abamisiri bonna babalaba bulungi;
Nowe they departed from Rameses the first moneth, euen the fifteenth day of the first moneth, on the morowe after the Passeouer: and the children of Israel went out with an hie hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 ng’Abamisiri bwe baziika abaana baabwe ababereberye Mukama be yali abasseemu; kubanga Mukama Katonda yali asalidde bakatonda b’Abamisiri omusango okubasinga.
(For the Egyptians buried all their first borne, which the Lord had smitten among them: vpon their gods also the Lord did execution.)
5 Abaana ba Isirayiri ne basitula okuva e Lamesesi ne basiisira e Sukkosi.
And the children of Israel remoued from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 Ne bava e Sukkosi ne basiisira e Yesamu, eddungu we litandikira.
And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wildernesse.
7 Bwe baava mu Yesamu ne baddako emabega ne batuuka e Pikakirosi ekiri ku buvanjuba bwa Baali Zefoni, ne basiisira okuliraana Migudooli.
And they remoued from Etham, and turned againe vnto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon, and pitched before Migdol.
8 Ne basitula okuva mu Pikakirosi ne bayita wakati mu Nnyanja Emyufu ne bagguka mu ddungu lya Yesamu; ne balitambuliramu ennaku ssatu ne basiisira e Mala.
And they departed from before Hahiroth, and went through the middes of the Sea into the wildernesse, and went three dayes iourney in the wildernesse of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 Ne bava e Mala ne batuuka mu Erimu, awaali ensulo z’amazzi ekkumi n’ebbiri n’emiti emikindu nsanvu, ne basiisira awo.
And they remoued from Marah, and came vnto Elim, and in Elim were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they pitched there.
10 Bwe baava mu Erimu ne basiisira okumpi n’Ennyanja Emyufu.
And they remoued from Elim, and camped by the red Sea.
11 Ne bava ku Nnyanja Emyufu ne basiisira mu Ddungu Sini.
And they remoued from the red Sea, and lay in the wildernesse of Sin.
12 Bwe bava mu Ddungu Sini ne basiisira e Dofuka.
And they tooke their iourney out of the wildernesse of Sin, and set vp their tentes in Dophkah.
13 Ne bava e Dofuka ne basiisira e Yalusi.
And they departed from Dophkah, and lay in Alush.
14 Bwe bava e Yalusi ne basiisira e Lefidimu, awataali mazzi abantu okunywako.
And they remoued from Alush, and lay in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drinke.
15 Ne bava e Lefidimu ne basiisira mu Ddungu lya Sinaayi.
And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wildernesse of Sinai.
16 Ne bava mu Ddungu lya Sinaayi ne basiisira e Kiberosu Katava.
And they remoued from the desert of Sinai, and pitched in Kibroth Hattaauah.
17 Bwe bava e Kiberosu Katava ne basiisira e Kazerosi.
And they departed from Kibroth Hattaauah, and lay at Hazeroth.
18 Bwe bava e Kazerosi ne basiisira e Lisuma.
And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 Ne bava e Lisuma ne basiisira e Limoni Perezi.
And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon Parez.
20 Bwe bava e Limoni Perezi ne basiisira e Libuna.
And they departed from Rimmon Parez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 Ne bava e Libuna ne basiisira e Lisa.
And they remoued from Libnah, and pitched in Rissah.
22 Ne bava e Lisa ne basiisira e Kekerasa.
And they iourneyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 Bwe bava e Kekerasa ne basiisira ku Lusozi Seferi.
And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 Bwe bava ku Lusozi Seferi ne basiisira e Kalada.
And they remoued from mount Shapher, and lay in Haradah.
25 Ne bava e Kalada ne basiisira e Makerosi.
And they remoued from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 Ne bava e Makerosi ne basiisira e Takasi.
And they remoued from Makheloth, and lay in Tahath.
27 Bwe bava e Takasi ne basiisira e Tera.
And they departed from Tahath, and pitched in Tarah.
28 Bwe bava e Tera ne basiisira e Misuka.
And they remoued from Tarah, and pitched in Mithkah.
29 Ne bava e Misuka ne basiisira e Kasumona.
And they went from Mithkah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 Ne bava e Kasumona ne basiisira e Moserosi.
And they departed from Hashmonah, and lay in Moseroth.
31 Bwe bava e Moserosi ne basiisira e Beneyakani.
And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-iaakan.
32 Ne bava e Beneyakani ne basiisira e Kolu Kagidugada.
And they remoued from Bene-iaakan, and lay in Hor-hagidgad.
33 Ne bava e Kolu Kagidugada ne basiisira e Yotubasa.
And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Iotbathah.
34 Ne bava e Yotubasa ne basiisira e Yabulona.
And they remoued from Iotbathah, and lay in Ebronah.
35 Ne bava e Yabulona ne basisira mu Ezyoni Geba.
And they departed from Ebronah, and lay in Ezion-gaber.
36 Ne bava mu Ezyoni Geba ne basiisira e Kadesi mu Ddungu lya Zini.
And they remoued from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wildernesse of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 Bwe baava e Kadesi ne basiisira ku Lusozi Koola, okuliraana n’ensi ya Edomu.
And they remooued from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 Awo Alooni kabona n’alinnya ku Lusozi Koola, nga Mukama Katonda bwe yamulagira, n’afiira eyo, ku lunaku olw’olubereberye olw’omwezi ogwokutaano, ng’abaana ba Isirayiri baakamaze emyaka amakumi ana kasookedde bava mu nsi y’e Misiri.
(And Aaron the Priest went vp into mount Hor, at the commandement of the Lord, and died there, in the fourtieth yeere after the children of Israel were come out of the lande of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth moneth.
39 Alooni yali yakamaze emyaka egy’obukulu kikumi mu abiri mu esatu bwe yafiira ku Lusozi Koola.
And Aaron was an hundreth, and three and twentie yeere olde, when hee dyed in mount Hor.
40 Kabaka Omukanani ow’e Yaladi eyatuulanga mu bukiikaddyo obwa Kanani, n’awulira ng’abaana ba Isirayiri bajja.
And King Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the South of the land of Canaan, heard of the comming of the children of Israel)
41 Abaana ba Isirayiri ne basitula okuva ku Lusozi Koola, ne basiisira e Zalumona.
And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 Bwe baava e Zalumona ne basiisira e Punoni.
And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 Ne bava e Punoni ne basiisira e Yebosi.
And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 Ne bava e Yebosi ne basiisira mu Lye Abalimu, okuliraana ne Mowaabu.
And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Iie-abarim, in the borders of Moab.
45 Ne bava mu Iyimu ne basiisira e Diboni Gadi.
And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
46 Ne bava e Diboni Gadi ne basiisira e Yalumonu Dibulasaimu.
And they remooued from Dibon-gad, and lay in Almon-diblathaim.
47 Ne bava e Yalumonu Dibulasaimu ne basiisira mu nsozi za Abalimu, okuliraana Nebo.
And they remooued from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountaines of Abarim before Nebo.
48 Bwe baava mu nsozi za Abalimu ne basiisira mu nsenyi za Mowaabu okuliraana n’omugga Yoludaani olwolekera Yeriko.
And they departed from the mountaines of Abarim, and pitched in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden toward Iericho.
49 Ne basiisira mu nsenyi za Mowaabu nga bagendera ku mugga Yoludaani okuva e Besu Yesimosi okutuuka e Yaberi Sitimu.
And they pitched by Iorden, from Bethieshimoth vnto Abel-shittim in the playne of Moab.
50 Awo Mukama Katonda n’ayogera ne Musa mu nsenyi za Mowaabu ku mugga Yoludaani okwolekera Yeriko n’amugamba nti,
And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the playne of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
51 “Yogera n’abaana ba Isirayiri obagambe nti, Bwe musomokanga omugga Yoludaani ne muyingira mu nsi ya Kanani;
Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye are come ouer Iorden to enter into the land of Canaan,
52 mugobangamu abatuuze baamu bonna abagirimu kaakano. Muzikirizanga ebifaananyi byabwe byonna ebibajje n’ebiweese byonna; era musaanyangawo ebifo byabwe ebigulumivu mwe basinziza.
Ye shall then driue out all the inhabitants of the land before you, and destroy all their pictures, and breake asunder all their images of metall, and plucke downe all their hie places.
53 Ensi eyo muligyetwalira, ne mugituulamu, kubanga ensi eyo ngibawadde okubeera eyammwe ey’obwanannyini.
And ye shall possesse the lande and dwell therein: for I haue giue you ye land to possesse it.
54 Ensi mugigabananga nga mukuba akalulu ng’ebika byammwe bwe biri. Ekika ekinene kifunanga ekitundu eky’obutaka bwakyo kinene, n’ekika ekitono kinaafunanga ekitundu kitono. Buli kye banaafunanga ng’akalulu bwe kanaagambanga ng’ekyo kye kyabwe. Ensi mugigabananga ng’ebitundu by’ebika byammwe eby’ennono eby’obujjajja bwe biri.
And ye shall inherite the land by lot according to your families: to the more yee shall giue more inheritance, and to the fewer the lesse inheritance. Where the lot shall fall to any man, that shall be his: according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherite.
55 “Naye abatuuze ab’omu nsi omwo bwe mutalibagobamu bonna, kale, abo abalisigalamu bagenda kubafuukira enkato mu mmunye zammwe era babeere maggwa mu mbiriizi zammwe. Balibateganya mu nsi omwo mwe munaabeeranga.
But if ye will not driue out the inhabitants of the land before you, then those which yee let ramaine of them, shalbe prickes in your eyes, and thornes in your sides, and shall vexe you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Olwo bye ntegeka okukola bali, ndibikola mmwe.”
Moreouer, it shall come to passe, that I shall doe vnto you, as I thought to do vnto them.
