Batabani be bonna ne bawala be ne bagenda gy’ali okumusanyusa, kyokka ye n’atakkiriza kusanyusibwa. N’agamba nti, “Nedda, ndikka emagombe nga nkyakungubagira omwana wange Yusufu.” Bw’atyo Yakobo n’akungubagira nnyo Yusufu. (Sheol )
And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to console him but he refused to be consoled, and said—Surely I will go down unto my son mourning to hades! And his father wept for him. (Sheol )
Naye Yakobo n’agamba nti, “Mutabani wange tajja kuserengeta nammwe, kubanga muganda we yafa, era ye y’asigalawo yekka. Akabi bwe kalimutuukako mu lugendo lwe mugendako, muliserengesa envi zange emagombe nga nkyali munakuwavu.” (Sheol )
And he said, My son shall not go down with you, —For, his brother, is dead and, he alone, is left, and as surely as there befall him any mischief by the way wherein ye go, so surely shall ye bring down my grey hairs with sorrow unto hades. (Sheol )
Bwe muntwalako n’ono, akabi ne kamutuukako, muliserengesa envi zange emagombe nga nkungubaga.’ (Sheol )
As surely as ye take, this one also, away from before my face and there befall him any mischief, so surely shall ye bring down my grey hairs, with misfortune to hades. (Sheol )
bw’anaalaba ng’omulenzi tali naffe, ajja kufa, n’abaddu bo baliserengesa envi z’omuddu wo kitaffe emagombe ng’akyakungubagira omwana we. (Sheol )
so surely shall it come to pass that when he seeth that the lad is not with us, then will he die. So shall thy servants bring down the grey hairs of thy servant our father, with sorrow to hades. (Sheol )
Naye singa Mukama Katonda aleetawo ekintu ekiggya ddala ekitali kya bulijjo, ensi n’eyasamya akamwa kaayo n’ebamira nga balamu n’ebintu byabwe byonna, ne bagwa wansi mu gunnya oguwanvu, kale nno munaategeera ng’abasajja abo banyoomodde Mukama Katonda.” (Sheol )
But, if, a creation, Yahweh create, and the ground open wide her mouth and swallow them up, with all that pertain unto them, and so they go down alive unto hades, then shall ye know, that these men have despised Yahweh. (Sheol )
Baagwayo wansi mu gunnya nga balamu, n’ebintu byabwe byonna bye baalina; ensi n’ebabuutikira, ne basaanirawo ddala okuva mu bannaabwe. (Sheol )
so, they, and all that pertained unto them, went down, alive unto hades, —and the earth, closed upon them, and they perished out of the midst of the convocation. (Sheol )
Kubanga obusungu bwange bukumye omuliro, ne gwaka okutuukira ddala wansi mu magombe, gusenkenya ensi n’ebibala byayo, ne gwokya amasozi okutandikira ku bikolo byago. (Sheol )
For, a fire, is kindled in mine anger, And shall burn as far as hades beneath, —And consume the earth with her produce, And set ablaze the foundations of the mountains: (Sheol )
Mukama Katonda y’aleeta okufa, era y’awa obulamu; atwala emagombe ate n’azuukiza. (Sheol )
Yahweh, doth kill, and make alive, —Taketh down to hades, and bringeth up: (Sheol )
Ebisiba eby’amagombe byanneetooloola; n’emitego gy’okufa ne ginjolekera. (Sheol )
the meshes of hades, had surrounded me, —the snares of death had confronted me, (Sheol )
Kale muyise ng’okutegeera kwo bwe kuli, so tomuganyanga kukka emagombe mirembe mu bukadde bwe. (Sheol )
Thou, therefore, must do according to thy wisdom, —but will not let his grey hair go down in peace, to hades. (Sheol )
Kaakano tomubala ng’ataliiko musango. Oli musajja w’amagezi, era olimanya ekirikugwanira okumukola; tomuganyanga okukka emagombe mu mirembe mu bukadde bwe.” (Sheol )
Now, therefore do not hold him guiltless, for, a wise man, thou art, and wilt know how thou oughtest to deal with him, and wilt suffer his grey hairs to go down with blood, to hades. (Sheol )
Nga ekire bwe kibulawo ne kigenda, bw’atyo n’aziikwa mu ntaana talivaayo. (Sheol )
A cloud faileth, and is gone, So, he that descendeth to hades, shall not come up: (Sheol )
Bigulumivu okusinga eggulu, kiki ky’osobola okukola? Bikka okusinga obuziba bw’emagombe, kiki ky’osobola okumanya? (Sheol )
The heights of the heavens, what canst thou do? Depths deeper than hades, what canst thou know? (Sheol )
“Singa kale onkweka emagombe era n’onziika okutuusa obusungu bwo lwe buliggwaawo! Singa ongerera ekiseera n’onzijukira! (Sheol )
Oh that, in hades, thou wouldst hide me! that thou wouldst keep me secret, until the turn of thine anger, that thou wouldst set for me a fixed time, and remember me: (Sheol )
Amagombe bwe gaba nga ge maka mwe nnina essuubi, bwe njala obuliri bwange mu kizikiza, (Sheol )
If I wait for hades as my house, in darkness, have spread out my couch; (Sheol )
Nalyo lirigenda eri enzigi z’emagombe Oba tuligenda ffenna mu nfuufu?” (Sheol )
With me to hades, would they go down, If, wholly—into the dust, is the descent! (Sheol )
Emyaka gyabwe gyonna babeera bulungi, mangwago ne bakka mu ntaana. (Sheol )
They complete, in prosperity, their days, and, in a moment to hades, they sink down. (Sheol )
Nga ekyeeya n’ebbugumu bwe bimalawo amazzi agava mu muzira, aboonoonyi bwe batyo bwe bamalibwawo emagombe. (Sheol )
Drought and heat, steal away snow water, Hades, them who have sinned. (Sheol )
Amagombe gali bwereere mu maaso ga Katonda; n’okuzikiriza tekulina kikubisse. (Sheol )
Naked is hades before him, and there is no covering to destruction; (Sheol )

For, in death, is no remembrance of thee, —In hades, who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol )
Ababi balisuulibwa emagombe; ebyo bye bituuka ku mawanga gonna ageerabira Katonda. (Sheol )
The lawless, shall return, to hades, all nations forgetful of God. (Sheol )

For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol )

The meshes of hades, had surrounded me, The snares of death, had confronted me, (Sheol )
Ayi Mukama, omwoyo gwange waguggya emagombe, n’omponya ekinnya. (Sheol )
O Yahweh! thou hast lifted, out of hades, my soul, Thou hast brought me back to life, from among those who were going down to the pit. (Sheol )

O Yahweh! let me not be ashamed, For I have called upon thee, Let the lawless be ashamed, Go down in silence to hades! (Sheol )
Okufaanana ng’endiga, bateekwa kufa; olumbe ne lubalya. Bakka butereevu emagombe, obulungi bwabwe ne bubula, amagombe ne gafuuka amaka gaabwe. (Sheol )
Like sheep—into hades, are they driven, Death shall shepherd them, —And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning, Even their form, is to decay, Hades, is all that remaineth of a habitation for him. (Sheol )
Naye Katonda alinunula emmeeme yange mu magombe, ddala ddala alintwala gy’ali. (Sheol )
But, God, will redeem my soul, out of the hand of hades, For he will take me. (Selah) (Sheol )
Okufa kubatuukirire, bakke emagombe nga bakyali balamu; kubanga bajjudde okukola ebibi. (Sheol )
Desolations on them! Let them go down into hades alive, For, wicked doings, are at home within them. (Sheol )
Okwagala kwo okutaggwaawo kungi nnyo gye ndi; wawonya omwoyo gwange amagombe. (Sheol )
For, thy lovingkindness, is great towards me, And thou hast rescued my soul from Hades beneath. (Sheol )

For my soul, is sated with misfortunes, And, my life—unto Hades, hath drawn near; (Sheol )
Muntu ki omulamu atalifa, omuntu asobola okwewonya okufa n’awangula amaanyi g’emagombe? (Sheol )
Who is the man that shall live, and not see death? That can deliver his soul from the hand of hades. (Selah) (Sheol )
Emiguwa gy’okufa gyansiba, n’okulumwa okw’emagombe kwankwata; ne nzijula ennaku nnyingi n’okutya. (Sheol )
The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol )
Bwe nnaalinya mu ggulu, nga gy’oli; bwe nnakka emagombe, nayo nga gy’oli. (Sheol )
If I ascend the heavens, there, thou art! If I spread out hades as my couch, behold thee! (Sheol )
Balyogera nti, “Ng’omuntu bw’akabala n’akuba amavuunike, n’amagumba gaffe bwe galisaasaanyizibwa bwe gatyo mu kamwa k’emagombe.” (Sheol )
As when one plougheth and furroweth the earth, Scattered about, are our bones at the mouth of hades! (Sheol )

Let us engulf them, like hades, alive, While in health, like them who are going down to the pit; (Sheol )
Ebigere bye bituuka mu kufa, ebisinde bye biraga emagombe. (Sheol )
Her feet, are going down to death, —on hades, will her steps take firm hold. (Sheol )
Ennyumba ye, lye kkubo eridda emagombe, nga likka mu bisenge eby’okufa. (Sheol )
Ways to hades, are in her house, descending into the chambers of death. (Sheol )
Naye oyo agwa mu kitimba kye tamanya nti nnyumba yakuzikirira, era nti abagenyi be bali mu buziba obw’emagombe. (Sheol )
But he knoweth not, that the shades are there; In the depths of hades, are her guests. (Sheol )
Okufa n’okuzikirira biri mu maaso ga Mukama, n’okulaba alaba nnyo emitima gy’abaana b’abantu! (Sheol )
Hades and destruction, are before Yahweh, how much more then, the hearts of the sons of men. (Sheol )
Ekkubo ery’obulamu liyimusa omugezi, ne limuziyiza okukka emagombe. (Sheol )
The way of life, is upwards to the prudent, that he may depart from hades beneath. (Sheol )
Mubonerezenga n’akaggo, kiwonye emmeeme ye okufa. (Sheol )
Thou, with the rod, shalt smite him, and, his soul from hades, shalt thou deliver. (Sheol )
Amagombe ne ggeyeena tebikkuta, n’amaaso g’abantu nago bwe gatyo tegakkuta. (Sheol )
Hades and destruction, are not satisfied, and, the eyes of a man, are not satisfied. (Sheol )

Hades, and barrenness, —A land not satisfied with water, and fire, that saith not, Enough! (Sheol )
Buli omukono gwo kye gugenda okukola, kikole n’amaanyi go gonna; kubanga teri mulimu wadde okulowooza, oba okutegeera wadde amagezi emagombe gy’olaga. (Sheol )
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, with thy might, do, —for there is no work nor calculation nor knowledge nor wisdom, in hades, whither, thou, art going. (Sheol )

[SHE] Set me as a seal, upon thy heart, as a seal upon thine arm, For, mighty as death, is love, Exacting as hades, is jealousy, —The flames thereof, are flames of fire, The flash of Yah! (Sheol )

Therefore, hath hades enlarged her desire, And opened her mouth to its widest, —And their glory, and their multitude and their pomp. and he that is uproarious shall descend thereinto. (Sheol )
“Saba Mukama Katonda wo akabonero, ne bwe kanaaba mu buziba, oba mu magombe oba mu bwengula.” (Sheol )
Ask thee a sign, of Yahweh thy God, —Go down deep for a request, Or ascend on high! (Sheol )
Amagombe wansi gagugumuka ku lulwo okukusisinkana ng’ojja, gagolokosa emyoyo gy’abafu ku lulwo, bonna abaali abakulembeze b’ensi; gayimusizza bakabaka ku ntebe zaabwe, bonna abaali bakabaka baamawanga. (Sheol )
Hades beneath, is excited about thee To meet thine arrival, —Rousing up, for thee Shades, All the he-goats of earth! Maketh rise from their thrones, All the kings of the nations. (Sheol )
Ekitiibwa kyo kyonna kissibbwa emagombe, awamu n’amaloboozi g’ennanga zo; bakwalidde envunyu, n’ensiriŋŋanyi zikubisseeko. (Sheol )
Brought down to Hades, thy pride. The hum of thy harps, Beneath thee, is spread out corruption, And, thy coverlet—worms! (Sheol )
Naye ossibbwa wansi emagombe, ku ntobo y’obunnya. (Sheol )
Howbeit, to Hades, shalt thou be brought down, —To the Recesses of the Pit! (Sheol )
Weewaawo mwewaana nga bwe mugamba nti, “Twakola endagaano n’okufa, era twalagaana n’amagombe. Ekikangabwa eky’amaanyi ne bwe kijja, tekirina kye kiyinza kutukola, kubanga tufudde obulimba ekiddukiro kyaffe, era mu bukuusa mwe twekwese.” (Sheol )
Because ye have said—We have solemnised a covenant with death, And with hades, have we effected a vision, —The overflowing scourge when it sweepeth by, shall not reach unto us, For we have made lying our refuge. And in falsehood, have we hid ourselves, (Sheol )
N’endagaano gye walagaana n’okufa erijjulukuka, n’endagaano gye walagaana n’amagombe terinywera. Ekikangabwa eky’amaanyi bwe kirijja, kiribagwira. (Sheol )
So shall be wiped out your covenant with death, And your vision with hades, not stand, —When the overflowing scourge, sweepeth past, then shall ye be thereby beaten down: (Sheol )
nayogera nti, “Mu maanyi g’obulamu bwange mwe nnali ŋŋenda okufiira nnyingire mu miryango gy’emagombe, nga simazeeyo myaka gyange egisigaddeyo.” (Sheol )
I, said—In the noontide of my days, I must enter the gates of hades, —I am deprived of the residue of my years! (Sheol )
Kubanga tewali n’omu mu nsi y’abafu ayinza kukutendereza, abafu tebayinza kukusuuta; tebaba na ssuubi mu bwesigwa bwo. (Sheol )
For, hades, cannot praise thee Nor, death, celebrate thee, —They who go down to the pit cannot wait for thy faithfulness. (Sheol )
Ne weekuba kalifuuwa omuyitirivu ng’ogenda okutwala amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni ewa Moleki katonda wo, n’otuma ababaka bo ewala ennyo banoonye bakatonda, kumpi batuuke n’emagombe. (Sheol )
And hast gone to the king with oil, And hast multiplied thy perfumes, —And hast sent thy messengers afar, And…lowered thyself as far as hades! (Sheol )
“‘Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, Ku lunaku lwe gwaleetebwa wansi emagombe, enzizi zaagukaabira, era naziyiza n’emigga gyagwo, n’amazzi gaagwo amangi okukulukuta. Ku lulwe nayambaza Lebanooni obuyinike, n’emiti gyonna egy’oku ttale ne gikala. (Sheol )
Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, In the day when he descended into hades, I caused a mourning. I covered over him the roaring deep, And restrained the currents thereof And stayed were the mighty waters, So caused I gloom over him unto Lebanon, And all the trees of the field for him were covered with a shroud. (Sheol )
Naleetera amawanga okukankana olw’eddoboozi ery’okugwa kwagwo bwe naguserengesa emagombe n’abo abaserengeta wansi mu bunnya. Olwo emiti gyonna egya Adeni, egy’amaanyi era egisingayo obulungi egya Lebanooni emiti gyonna egyali gifukiriddwa obulungi amazzi, ne gizzibwamu amaanyi wansi mu nsi. (Sheol )
At the sound of his fall, I made nations tremble, When I caused him to descend into hades, with them who descend into the pit, — Then were grieved in the earth below-All the trees of Eden, The choicest and best of Lebanon All who had drunk the waters. (Sheol )
Abo bonna ababeera mu kisiikirize kyagwo, n’amawanga agassanga ekimu nabo, bakirira nabo emagombe ne beegatta ku abo abattibwa n’ekitala. (Sheol )
Even they, with him descended into hades. Among them who were thrust through with the sword, - Even his seed who dwelt in his shade in the midst of the nations. (Sheol )
Okuva emagombe abakulembeze ab’amaanyi balyogera ku Misiri ne be yeekobaana nabo nti, ‘baserengese, era bagalamidde awali abatali bakomole, abattibwa n’ekitala.’ (Sheol )
The chiefs of the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hades, with his helpers, - They have descended They have lain down. The uncircumcised! Thrust through by the sword. (Sheol )
Tebaliziikibwa ng’abakungu, naye baliziikibwa ng’abasajja abalwanyi abazira abatali bakomole, abaaserengeta emagombe n’ebyokulwanyisa byabwe, abaatikkibwa ebitala byabwe ku mitwe gyabwe. Obutali butuukirivu bwabwe bwali ku magumba gaabwe kubanga baaleeta entiisa eri abasajja ab’amaanyi mu nsi ey’abalamu. (Sheol )
Therefore shall they not lie with the mighty men The fallen ones from age-past times, Who descended into hades with their weapons of war And their swords were placed under their heads. But their iniquities have come upon their bones Because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. (Sheol )
“Ndibanunulayo mu maanyi g’emagombe, era ndibalokola mu kufa. Ggwe kufa, endwadde zo ziri ludda wa? Ggwe Magombe, okuzikiriza kwo kuli ludda wa? “Sirimusaasira, (Sheol )
Out of the hand of hades, will I ransom them, out of death, will I redeem them, —Where is thy pestilence, O death? Where thy plague, O hades? Repentance, shall be hid from mine eyes. (Sheol )
Ne bwe balisima ne baddukira emagombe, omukono gwange gulibaggyayo. Ne bwe balirinnya waggulu mu ggulu ndibawanulayo. (Sheol )
Though they break through into hades, from thence, shall my hand fetch them, —and, though they ascend the heavens, from thence, will I bring them down; (Sheol )

and said—I cried—out of my distress—unto Yahweh, and he answered me, —Out of the belly of hades, called I, Thou didst hear my voice. (Sheol )
Weewaawo, omwenge mulimba guleetera omuntu amalala, ate taguwummulako. Ate olwokubanga gwa mululu ng’emagombe, mu butakkuta gufaanana okufa. Era okufaanana ng’olumbe, tegukkuta, amawanga gonna gugeekuŋŋanyizaako ne gugafuula abasibe. (Sheol )
Moreover also, when wine betrayeth, a man, is arrogant, and findeth no rest, —because he hath enlarged, like hades, his desire, yea, he, is like death, and cannot be satisfied, —but hath gathered unto himself, all the nations, and assembled unto himself, all the peoples. (Sheol )
Naye mbagamba nti Buli alisunguwalira muganda we aliwozesebwa. Na buli anaagambanga muganda we nti, ‘Laka,’ anaatwalibwa mu lukiiko lw’abakulembeze b’Abayudaaya n’awozesebwa. Na buli anaagambanga nti, ‘Musirusiru,’ asaanidde okusuulibwa mu muliro ogwa ggeyeena. (Geenna )
But, I, say unto you, that, every one who is angry with his brother, shall be, liable, to judgment, —and, whosoever shall say to his brother, Worthless one!, shall be, liable, to the high council; and, whosoever shall say, Rebel!, shall be, liable, unto the fiery gehenna. (Geenna )
Noolwekyo obanga eriiso Lyo erya ddyo likuleetera okwesittala, liggyeemu olisuule wala. Kubanga kirungi okugenda mu ggulu ng’ebitundu byo ebimu tobirina okusinga okugenda nabyo byonna mu ggeyeena. (Geenna )
And, if, thy right eye, is causing thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee, —for it profiteth thee, that, one of thy members, should perish, and not, thy whole body, be cast into gehenna. (Geenna )
Era obanga omukono gwo ogwa ddyo gukukozesa ebibi, kirungi okugutemako ogusuule wala. Okugenda mu ggulu ng’ekitundu ky’omubiri gwo ekimu tokirina kisinga okugenda mu ggeyeena n’ebitundu by’omubiri gwo byonna. (Geenna )
And, if, thy right hand, is causing thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee, —for it profiteth thee, that, one of thy members, should perish, and not, thy whole body, into gehenna, depart. (Geenna )
Era temubatyanga abo abatta omubiri kubanga tebasobola kutta mwoyo! Naye mutyenga oyo yekka, ayinza okuzikiriza byombi omwoyo n’omubiri mu ggeyeena. (Geenna )
And be not in fear, by reason of them that are killing the body, —and, the soul, are not able to kill. But fear, rather, him who is able, both soul and body, to destroy in gehenna! (Geenna )
Naawe Kaperunawumu, newaakubadde nga wagulumizibwa okutuuka eggulu gye likoma, naye oliserengesebwa wansi emagombe. Kubanga ebyamagero eby’ekitalo ebyakolebwa ewuwo, singa byakolerwa mu Sodomu, kyandibadde kikyaliwo ne leero. (Hadēs )
And, thou, Capernaum! Unto heaven, shalt thou be uplifted? Unto hades, thou shall be brought down; because, if, in Sodom, had been done the works of power, which were done in thee, it would, in that case, have remained until this day. (Hadēs )
Na buli muntu ayogera ekigambo ekibi ku Mwana w’Omuntu alisonyiyibwa, naye ayogera ekibi ku Mwoyo Omutukuvu talisonyiyibwa mu mulembe guno wadde ogugenda okujja. (aiōn )
And, whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him, —but, whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or the coming. (aiōn )
N’ensigo eyagwa mu maggwa efaanana ng’omuntu awulira ekigambo naye okweraliikirira kw’ebintu by’ensi n’obugagga obutaliimu ne bibuutikira ekigambo ne kitabala bibala. (aiōn )
And, he among the thorns sown, the same, is he that, heareth the word, —and, the anxiety of the age and the deceit of riches, choke up the word, and, unfruitful, it becometh. (aiōn )
Omulabe eyasiga ensigo ez’omuddo ye Setaani, amakungula y’enkomerero y’ensi n’abakunguzi be bamalayika. (aiōn )
And, the enemy that sowed them, is the adversary, and, the harvest, is, the conclusion of an age, and, the reapers, are, messengers. (aiōn )
“Noolwekyo ng’omuddo bwe gwakuŋŋaanyizibwa ne gwokebwa mu muliro, bwe kityo bwe kiriba ku nkomerero y’ensi. (aiōn )
Just, therefore, as collected is the darnel, and, with fire is burned, so, will it be in the conclusion of the age: — (aiōn )
Bwe kiriba bwe kityo ne ku nkomerero y’ensi, bamalayika balijja ne baawulamu abantu abatuukirivu n’ababi. (aiōn )

The wild-beast which thou sawest, was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and into, destruction, goeth away. And they who are dwelling upon the earth whose name is not written upon the book of life from the foundation of the world, will be astonished, when they see the wild-beast, because it was, and is not, and shall be present. And the wild-beast, was taken, and, with him, the false prophet who wrought the signs before him, whereby he deceived them who received the mark of the wild-beast and them who were doing homage unto his image, —alive, were they two cast into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone.
