Nekkemiya 3
1 Awo Eriyasibu kabona asinga obukulu wamu ne baganda be bakabona ne batandika okukola n’okuddaabiriza Omulyango gw’Endiga. Ne baguwonga eri Mukama, ne bazzaamu n’enzigi zaagwo. Ne bakola okutuukira ddala ku Munaala gwe Kikumi, n’okweyongerayo okutuuka ku Munaala gwa Kananeri, ekifo kyonna ne bakiwonga eri Mukama.
And Eliashib the high priest riseth, and his brethren the priests, and they build the sheep-gate; they have sanctified it, and set up its doors, even unto the tower of Meah they have sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel;
2 Abasajja ab’e Yeriko ne bazimba ekitundu ekyaddirira, ne Zakkuli mutabani wa Imuli n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyali kiddiridde.
and by his hand have men of Jericho built; and by their hand hath Zaccur son of Imri built;
3 Batabani ba Kassena ne bazimba Omulyango ogw’Ebyennyanja, ne bazzaawo emyango n’enzigi zaagwo, n’eminyolo n’ebyuma byagwo mu kifo kyabyo.
and the fish-gate have sons of Hassenaah built, they have walled it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Meremoosi mutabani wa Uliya, muzzukulu wa Kakkozi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira; Mesullamu mutabani wa Berekiya, muzzukulu wa Mesezaberi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddako ekya Meremoosi. Zadooki mutabani wa Baana n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyali kiriraanyeewo.
And by their hand hath Merimoth son of Urijah, son of Koz, strengthened; and by his hand hath Meshullam son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabeel, strengthened; and by his hand hath Zadok son of Baana strengthened;
5 Abasajja Abatekowa ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, naye abakungu baabwe ne bagaana okukolera wansi waabwe.
and by his hand have the Tekoites strengthened, and their honourable ones have not brought in their neck to the service of their Lord.
6 Ne Yoyada mutabani wa Paseya ne Mesullamu mutabani wa Besodeya ne baddaabiriza Omulyango ogw’Edda, ne bazaamu emyango n’enzigi zaagwo, n’eminyolo n’ebyuma byagwo.
And the old gate have Jehoiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam son of Besodeiah, strengthened; they have walled it, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Ekifo ekyaddirira kyaddaabirizibwa Meratiya Omugibyoni n’abasajja ab’e Gibyoni ne Yadoni Omumeronoosi n’abasajja ab’e Mizupa. Ebyo by’ebifo ebyafugibwanga ow’essaza eriri emitala w’omugga Fulaati.
And by their hand hath Melatiah the Gibeonite strengthened, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor beyond the River.
8 Wuziyeeri mutabani wa Kalukaya, omuweesi wa zaabu n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, ne Kananiya omukozi w’obuwoowo, n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, era abo ne baddaabiririza ddala Yerusaalemi okutuuka ku Bbugwe Omugazi.
By his hand hath Uzziel son of Harhaiah of the refiners strengthened; and by his hand hath Hananiah son of [one of] the compounders strengthened; and they leave Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
9 Lefaya mutabani wa Kuuli eyafuganga ekitundu ky’eggombolola ya Yerusaalemi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira.
And by their hand hath Rephaiah son of Hur, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, strengthened.
10 Ekitundu ekyaddirira kyali kiriraanye ennyumba ya Yedaya mutabani wa Kalunafu, era ekyo kye yaddaabiriza; n’ekitundu ekyaddako Kattusi mutabani wa Kasabuneya n’akiddaabiriza.
And by their hand hath Jedaiah son of Harumaph strengthened, and over-against his own house; and by his hand hath Hattush son of Hashabniah strengthened.
11 Malukiya mutabani wa Kalimu ne Kassubu mutabani wa Pakasumowaabu ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekirala ekya bbugwe n’Omunaala ogw’Ekikoomi.
A second measure hath Malchijah son of Harim strengthened, and Hashub son of Pahath-Moab, even the tower of the furnaces.
12 Eyaddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira yali Sallumu mutabani wa Kallokesi ne bawala be, eyafuganga ekitundu ky’eggombolola ya Yerusaalemi ne bawala be.
And by his hand hath Shallum son of Halohesh, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, strengthened, he and his daughters.
13 Kanuni n’abatuuze b’e Zanowa ne baddaabiriza Omulyango ogw’omu Kiwonvu, ne bazzaamu enzigi zaagwo, n’eminyolo gyagwo n’ebyuma byagwo mu bifo byabyo; ate era ne baddaabiriza n’ekitundu ekirala ekya bbugwe, olugendo lwa mita nga kikumi obuwanvu, okutuuka ku Mulyango ogw’Obusa.
The gate of the valley hath Hanun strengthened, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they have built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the dung-gate.
14 Malukiya mutabani wa Lekabu ow’eggombolola y’e Besukakkeremu n’addaabiriza Omulyango ogw’Obusa, n’azzaamu enzigi zaagwo, n’eminyolo gyagwo n’ebyuma byagwo mu bifo byabyo.
And the dung-gate hath Malchijah son of Rechab, head of the district of Beth-Haccerem, strengthened; he doth built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Salluni mutabani wa Kolukoze ow’eggombolola y’e Mizupa n’addaabiriza Omulyango ogw’Oluzzi, n’azzaamu enzigi zaagwo n’emiryango gyagwo n’ebyuma byagwo. N’addaabiriza n’ekisenge eky’Ekidiba kya Seera ekiriraanye ennimiro ya kabaka, okutuuka ku madaala agaserengeta okuva mu kibuga kya Dawudi.
And the gate of the fountain hath Shallum son of Col-Hozeh, head of the district of Mizpah, strengthened: he doth build it, and cover it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah, to the garden of the king, and unto the steps that are going down from the city of David.
16 Nekkemiya mutabani wa Azubuki eyafuganga ekitundu ky’eggombolola y’e Besuzuli n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira okutuuka ku kifo ekyolekera ebiggya bya Dawudi, n’okutuuka ku kidiba ekyasimibwa, n’okutuuka ku Nnyumba y’Abalwanyi Abazira.
After him hath Nehemiah son of Azbuk, head of the half of the district of Beth-Zur, strengthened, unto over-against the graves of David, and unto the pool that is made, and unto the house of the mighty ones.
17 Abaleevi nga bakulemberwamu Lekumu mutabani wa Baani ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, ne Kasabiya eyafuganga ekitundu ky’eggombolola ly’e Keyira n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddako ku lw’eggombolola ye.
After him have the Levites strengthened, [and] Rehum son of Bani: by his hand hath Hashabiah, head of the half of the district of Keilah, strengthened, for his district.
18 Baganda baabwe nga bakulemberwamu Bavvayi mutabani wa Kenadadi eyafuganga ekitundu ekyokubiri eky’egombolola ly’e Keyira ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira.
After him have their brethren strengthened, [and] Bavvai son of Henadad, head of the half of the district of Keilah.
19 Ezeri mutabani wa Yesuwa, omukulembeze w’e Mizupa n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, n’atuuka ku nsonda ya bbugwe, kye kitundu ekyolekedde awaakumirwanga ebyokulwanyisa.
And Ezer son of Jeshua, head of Mizpah, doth strengthen, by his hand, a second measure, from over-against the ascent of the armoury at the angle.
20 Baluki mutabani wa Zabbayi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira n’obunyiikivu bungi, okuva ku nsonda ya bbugwe okutuuka ku mulyango gw’ennyumba ya Eriyasibu kabona asinga obukulu.
After him hath Baruch son of Zabbai hastened to strengthen a second measure from the angle unto the opening of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21 Meremoosi mutabani wa Uliya, muzzukulu wa Kakkozi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira okuva ku mulyango gw’ennyumba ya Eriyasibu okutuuka ku nkomerero yaayo.
After him hath Meremoth son of Urijah, son of Koz, strengthened, a second measure, from the opening of the house of Eliashib even unto the completion of the house of Eliashib.
22 Bakabona ab’omu lusenyi ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira.
And after him have the priests, men of the circuit, strengthened.
23 Ekitundu ekyaddirira ne kibuukibwa, Benyamini ne Kassubu ne baddaabiriza okwolekera ennyumba yaabwe, Azaliya mutabani wa Maaseya muzzukulu wa Ananiya naye n’addaabiriza ekifo ekiriraanye ennyumba ye.
After them hath Benjamin strengthened, and Hashub, over-against their house; after him hath Azariah son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah, strengthened, near his house.
24 Binnuyi mutabani wa Kenadadi n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira okuva ku nnyumba ya Azaliya okutuuka ku nsonda ya bbugwe,
After him hath Binnui son of Henadad strengthened, a second measure, from the house of Azariah unto the angle, and unto the corner.
25 Palali mutabani wa Uzayi n’addaabiriza ekitundu kya bbugwe ku nsonda ya bbugwe, ekyolekedde omunaala ogwazimbibwa ku lubiri lwa kabaka olw’ekyengulu okuliraana oluggya lw’abambowa. Pedaya mutabani wa Palosi
Palal son of Uzai, from over-against the angle, and the tower that is going out from the upper house of the king that [is] at the court of the prison; after him Pedaiah son of Parosh.
26 n’abakozi ba yeekaalu abaabeeranga ku lusozi Oferi ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira okutuuka ku Mulyango gw’Amazzi ng’agenda ebuvanjuba ne ku munaala ogwazimbibwa.
And the Nethinim have been dwelling in Ophel, unto over-against the water-gate at the east, and the tower that goeth out.
27 Abasajja b’e Tekowa ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira, okuva ku munaala omunene ogwazimbibwa okutuuka ku bbugwe w’e Oferi.
After him have the Tekoites strengthened, a second measure, from over-against the great tower that goeth out, and unto the wall of Ophel.
28 Bakabona ne baddaabiriza ekyengulu w’Omulyango ogw’Embalaasi buli muntu okwolekera ennyumba ye.
From above the horse-gate have the priests strengthened, each over-against his house.
29 Zadooki mutabani wa Immeri n’addaabiriza ekifo ekyolekedde ennyumba ye, ne Semaaya mutabani wa Sekaniya omukuumi w’omulyango gw’ebuvanjuba n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira.
After them hath Zadok son of Immer strengthened, over against his house; and after him hath Shemaiah son of Shechaniah, keeper of the east gate, strengthened.
30 Kananiya mutabani wa Seremiya ne Kanuni mutabani wa Zalafu ow’omukaaga n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira. Mesullamu mutabani wa Berekiya n’addaabiriza ekitundu ekyaddirira okwolekera amaka ge.
After him hath Hananiah son of Shelemiah strengthened, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, a second measure; after him hath Meshullam son of Berechiah strengthened, over-against his chamber.
31 Malukiya omu ku baweesi ba zaabu n’addaabiriza ekitundu okutuuka ku nnyumba y’abaweereza ba yeekaalu, ne ku nnyumba ya basuubuzi okwolekera Omulyango Awaakeberebwanga Ebyamaguzi, n’okutuuka ku kisenge ekya waggulu ku nsonda.
After him hath Malchijah son of the refiner strengthened, unto the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over-against the gate of the Miphkad, and unto the ascent of the corner.
32 Abaweesi ba zaabu n’abasuubuzi ne baddaabiriza ekitundu ekiri wakati w’ekisenge ekya waggulu ku nsonda n’Omulyango gw’Endiga.
And between the ascent of the corner and the sheep-gate, have the refiners and the merchants strengthened.
