1 Awo Birudaadi Omusuki n’addamu n’ayogera nti,
Then Bildad [also] replied,
2 “Okufuga kwa Katonda n’entiisa ya Katonda; ateekawo enkola entuufu mu bifo ebya waggulu mu ggulu.
“God is very powerful; everyone should have an awesome respect for him; he causes everything to be peaceful high up in heaven.
3 Amaggye ge gasobola okubalibwa? Ani atayakirwa musana gwe?

4 Olwo omuntu ayinza atya okwelowooza nti mutuukirivu awali Katonda? Omuntu eyazaalibwa omukazi ayinza atya okuba omulongoofu?
So, (how can God consider anyone to be righteous?/God certainly cannot consider anyone to be righteous.) [RHQ] (How can any human being be truly pure?/No human being can be truly pure.) [RHQ]
5 Laba n’omwezi tegulina bye gwaka, n’emmunyeenye si nnongoofu mu maaso ge.
Consider this: God does not even consider the full moon to be bright, and he does not consider the stars to be spotless.
6 Ate omuntu obuntu oyo envunyu obuvunyu, omwana w’omuntu, oyo olusiriŋŋanyi, ayinza atya okwelowooza nti mulongoofu!”
So, (what about humans?/he does not consider humans [to be important].) [RHQ] They are [as insignificant as] [MET] maggots. [God does not think more highly of] people [than he thinks of] worms.”
