< Koseya 6 >

1 “Mujje, tudde eri Mukama. Atutaaguddetaagudde, naye alituwonya; atuleeseeko ebiwundu, naye ebiwundu alibinyiga.
Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds.
2 Oluvannyuma olw’ennaku bbiri alituzzaamu obulamu, era ku lunaku olwokusatu alituzza buggya, ne tubeera balamu mu maaso ge.
After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.
3 Tumanye Mukama; tunyiikire okumumanya. Ng’enjuba bw’evaayo enkya, bw’atyo bw’alirabika; alijja gye tuli ng’enkuba ey’omu kiseera ky’omuzira, era ng’enkuba eya ddumbi efukirira ettaka.”
So let us know— let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the earth.
4 Nkukolere ki, Efulayimu? Nkukolere ki, Yuda? Okwagala kwo kuli ng’olufu olw’enkya, era ng’omusulo ogw’enkya ogukala amangu.
What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is like a morning mist, like the early dew that vanishes.
5 Kyenvudde nkozesa bannabbi okubasalaasala ebitundutundu, ne mbatta n’ebigambo eby’omu kamwa kange, era ne mbasalira emisango ng’okumyansa okw’eggulu.
Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth, and My judgments go forth like lightning.
6 Kubanga njagala ekisa so si ssaddaaka, era n’okumanya Katonda, okusinga ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa.
For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 Okufaanana nga Adamu, bamenye endagaano, tebaali beesigwa.
But they, like Adam, have transgressed the covenant; there they were unfaithful to Me.
8 Gireyaadi kibuga ky’abakozi ba bibi, era engalo zaabwe zijjudde omusaayi.
Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with footprints of blood.
9 Ng’abatemu bwe bateegerera omuntu mu kkubo, n’ebibiina bya bakabona bwe bityo bwe bittira ku luguudo olugenda e Sekemu, ne bazza emisango egy’obuswavu.
Like raiders who lie in ambush, so does a band of priests; they murder on the way to Shechem; surely they have committed atrocities.
10 Ndabye eby’ekivve mu nnyumba ya Isirayiri; era eyo Efulayimu gye yeeweereddeyo mu bwamalaaya, ne Isirayiri gy’ayonoonekedde.
In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing: Ephraim practices prostitution there, and Israel is defiled.
11 “Naawe Yuda, amakungula gatuuse. “Bwe ndikomyawo emikisa gy’abantu bange,
Also for you, O Judah, a harvest is appointed, when I restore My people from captivity.
