1 Ekigambo ekikulu ekiri mu bye twogedde kye kino nti, Tulina Kabona Asinga Obukulu, atudde ku mukono ogwa ddyo, ogw’entebe ya Katonda ey’obwakabaka mu ggulu,
Of the thynges which we have spoke this is the pyth: that we have soche an hye preste that is sitten on ye right honde of the seate of maieste in heven
2 omuweereza w’ebitukuvu, era ow’eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu ey’amazima, etaazimbibwa bantu wabula Mukama.
and is a minister of holy thynges and of the very tabernacle which God pyght and not ma.
3 Kubanga Kabona Asinga Obukulu yenna alondebwa olw’omulimu ogw’okuwaayo ebirabo ne ssaddaaka, bwe kityo n’oyo kyamugwanira okuba n’ekintu ky’awaayo.
For every hye prest is ordeyned to offer gyftes and sacryfises wherfore it is of necessitie that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4 Singa yali ku nsi, teyandibadde kabona kubanga waliwo bakabona abawaayo ebirabo ng’amateeka bwe galagira.
For he were not a preste yf he were on ye erth where are prestes that acordynge to ye lawe
5 Kye bakola kifaananako bufaananyi era kisiikirize ky’ebyo ebikolebwa mu ggulu. Musa kyeyava alabulwa, bwe yali ng’anaatera okumaliriza weema, Mukama n’amugamba nti, “Bw’oba ng’ozimba, goberera entegeka yonna eyakulagirwa ku lusozi.”

7 Singa endagaano eyasooka teyaliiko kyakunenyezebwa, tewandibaddewo kyetaagisa yaakubiri.
For yf that fyrst testament had bene fautelesse: then shuld no place have bene sought for the seconde.
8 Kubanga bw’abanenya ayogera nti, “Laba ennaku zijja,” bw’ayogera Mukama, “ndiragaana endagaano empya n’ennyumba ya Isirayiri, awamu n’ennyumba ya Yuda.
For in rebukynge the he sayth: Beholde the dayes will come (sayth the lorde) and I will fynnyshe apon the housse of Israhel and apon the housse of Iuda
9 Endagaano eno empya terifaanana n’eri gye nalagaana ne bajjajjaabwe lwe nabakwata ku mukono okubaggya mu nsi y’e Misiri. Olw’okubanga tebaagoberera ndagaano yange, nange ssaabassaako mwoyo,” bw’ayogera Mukama.

10 “Eno y’endagaano gye ndiragaana n’ennyumba ya Isirayiri, oluvannyuma lw’ennaku ezo, bw’ayogera Mukama. Ndissa amateeka gange mu birowoozo byabwe era ndiwandiika amateeka gange ku mitima gyabwe, nange nnaabeeranga Katonda waabwe, nabo banaabeeranga bantu bange.
For this is the testament that I will make with the housse of Israhell: After those dayes sayth the lorde: I will put my lawes in their myndes and in their hertes I will wryte the and I wilbe their God and they shalbe my people.
11 Era tewaliba nate muntu ayigiriza munne oba muliraanwa we, oba muganda we ng’agamba nti, ‘Manya Mukama,’ Kubanga okuva ku muto okutuuka ku mukulu bonna balimmanya.
And they shall not teache every man his neghboure and every man his brother sayinge: knowe the lorde: For they shall knowe me from the lest to the moste of them:
12 Era ndibasaasira, n’ebibi byabwe siribijjukira nate.”
For I wilbe mercifull over their vnrightwesnes and on their synnes and on their iniquiries.
13 Katonda bw’ayogera ku ndagaano empya, olwo ng’andibizza ey’edda; n’eyo gy’adibizza n’okukaddiwa n’ekaddiwa, eriggwaawo.
In yt he sayth a new testament he hath abrogat the olde. Now that which is disanulled and wexed olde is redy to vannysshe awaye.
