< Abaebbulaniya 1 >

1 Edda, Katonda yayogeranga ne bajjajjaffe mu ngeri nnyingi ez’enjawulo ng’ayita mu bannabbi;
Whereas, in many parts and in many ways of old, God spake unto the fathers, in the prophets,
2 naye mu nnaku zino ez’oluvannyuma yayogera naffe ng’ayita mu Mwana, gwe yalonda okuba omusika wa byonna, era mu oyo mwe yatondera ensi n’ebintu byonna ebirimu. (aiōn g165)
At the end of these days, He hath spoken unto us in his Son, —whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he hath made the ages; (aiōn g165)
3 Amasamasa n’ekitiibwa kya Katonda, era ky’ekifaananyi kye ddala bw’ali, era abeezaawo buli kintu olw’ekigambo kye eky’amaanyi. Bwe yamala okukola ekikolwa eky’okututukuza okuva mu bibi, n’atuula ku mukono ogwa ddyo ogwa Katonda mu Bwakabaka obw’omu ggulu.
Who, being an eradiated brightness of his glory, and an exact representation of his very being, also bearing up all things by the utterance of his power, purification of sins, having achieved, sat down on the right hand of the majesty in high places:
4 Bw’atyo n’asinga bamalayika, nga kyeragira ku linnya lye okuba ery’ekitiibwa okusinga amannya gaabwe.
By so much becoming superior to the messengers, by as much as, going beyond them, he hath inherited a more distinguished name.
5 Kubanga ani ku bamalayika gwe yali ayogeddeko nti, “Ggwe oli Mwana wange, Leero nkuzadde?” Era nate nti, “Nze nnaabeeranga Kitaawe gy’ali naye anaabeeranga Mwana wange gye ndi?”
For unto which of the messengers said he at any time—My Son, art, thou, I, this day have begotten thee? and again—I, will become, his father, and, he, shall become my Son?
6 Era nate bw’aleeta Omwana we omubereberye mu nsi, agamba nti, “Bamalayika ba Katonda bonna bamusinzenga.”
But, whensoever he again introduceth the first-begotten into the habitable earth, he saith—And let all God’s messengers worship him!
7 Era ayogera ku bamalayika nti, “Afuula bamalayika be ng’empewo, n’afuula n’abaweereza be ng’ennimi z’omuliro.”
Even as to the messengers, indeed, he saith—Who maketh his messengers, winds, and his ministers of state, a fiery flame;
8 Naye ku Mwana ayogera nti, “Entebe yo ey’Obwakabaka, Ayi Katonda, ya lubeerera emirembe n’emirembe; obutuukirivu, gwe muggo ogw’obwakabaka bwo. (aiōn g165)
but, as to the Son, —Thy throne, O God, is unto times age-abiding, and—A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of his kingdom, (aiōn g165)
9 Wayagala obutuukirivu n’okyawa obujeemu. Katonda, era Katonda wo kyeyava akufukako amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni agaleeta essanyu okusinga banno.”
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness, —For this cause, hath God, thy God, anointed thee with the oil of exultation, beyond thy partners;
10 Ayongera n’agamba nti, “Mukama ku lubereberye wassaawo omusingi gw’ensi, era n’eggulu mirimu gwa mukono gwo.
and—Thou, by way of beginning, Lord, the earth, didst found, and, the works of thy hands, are the heavens, —
11 Ebyo biriggwaawo, naye ggwe olibeerera emirembe gyonna, era byonna birikaddiwa ng’ekyambalo bwe kikaddiwa.
They, shall perish, but, thou, abidest still, and, all, as a mantle, shall be worn out,
12 Era olibizingako ng’ekooti bwe zingibwako, era birikyusibwa ng’ekyambalo bwe kikyusibwa. Naye ggwe oba bumu, so n’emyaka gyo tegirikoma.”
And, as if a robe, wilt thou fold them up, —as a mantle, and they shall be changed; but, thou, art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 Ani ku bamalayika gwe yali agambye nti, “Tuula wano ku mukono gwange ogwa ddyo, okutuusa lwe ndifufuggaza abalabe bo, ne bafuuka entebe y’ebigere byo”?
But, to which of the messengers, hath he said, at any time—Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool?
14 Bamalayika bonna, myoyo egitumibwa okuweereza abo abagenda okusikira obulokozi.
Are they not, all, spirits, doing public service, —for ministry, sent forth, for the sake of them who are about to inherit salvation?
