1 Luno lwe lulyo lwa Adamu. Katonda bwe yatonda omuntu, yamukola mu kifaananyi kya Katonda.
This [is] [the] record of [the] descendants of Adam on [the] day created God humankind in [the] likeness of God he made him.
2 Yabatonda omusajja n’omukazi, n’abawa omukisa n’abatuuma, “abantu.”
Male and female he created them and he blessed them and he called name their humankind on [the] day were created they.
3 Adamu bwe yaweza emyaka kikumi mu asatu, n’azaala omwana owoobulenzi amufaanana, mu kifaananyi kye, n’amutuuma Seezi.
And he lived Adam thirty and one hundred year[s] and he became a father in own likeness his according to image his and he called name his Seth.
4 Seezi bwe yamala okuzaalibwa, Adamu n’amala emyaka lunaana, n’azaaliramu abaana aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And they were [the] days of Adam after fathered he Seth eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
5 Emyaka gyonna Adamu gye yamala gyali lwenda mu asatu, n’afa.
And they were all [the] days of Adam which he lived nine hundred year[s] and thirty year[s] and he died.
6 Seezi bwe yaweza emyaka kikumi mu etaano n’azaala Enosi.
And he lived Seth five years and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enosh.
7 Seezi bwe yamala okuzaala Enosi n’awangaala emyaka emirala lunaana mu musanvu n’azaaliramu abaana aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Seth after fathered he Enosh seven years and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
8 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna egya Seezi ne giba lwenda mu kkumi n’ebiri n’alyoka afa.
And they were all [the] days of Seth two [plus] ten year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.
9 Enosi bwe yaweza emyaka kyenda n’azaala Kenani.
And he lived Enosh ninety year[s] and he fathered Kenan.
10 Enosi bwe yamala okuzaala Kenani n’awangaala emyaka emirala lunaana mu kkumi n’etaano, omwo n’azaaliramu abaana aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Enosh after fathered he Kenan fif-teen year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
11 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna Enosi gye yamala ne giba lwenda mu etaano; n’alyoka afa.
And they were all [the] days of Enosh five years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.
12 Kenani bwe yaweza emyaka nsanvu n’azaala Makalaleri.
And he lived Kenan seventy year[s] and he fathered Mahalalel.
13 Kenani n’awangaala emyaka emirala lunaana mu ana, n’azaaliramu abaana aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Kenan after fathered he Mahalalel forty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
14 Emyaka gyonna Kenani gye yamala ne giba lwenda mu kkumi.
And they were all [the] days of Kenan ten years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.
15 Makalaleri bwe yaweza emyaka nkaaga mu etaano n’azaala Yaredi.
And he lived Mahalalel five years and sixty year[s] and he fathered Jared.
16 Bwe yamala okuzaala Yaredi n’awangaala emyaka emirala lunaana mu asatu n’azaaliramu abaana abalala aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Mahalalel after fathered he Jared thirty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
17 Ennaku zonna eza Makalaleri ne ziba emyaka lunaana mu kyenda mu etaano, n’afa.
And they were all [the] days of Mahalalel five and ninety year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he died.
18 Yaredi bwe yaweza emyaka kikumi mu nkaaga mu ebiri n’azaala Enoka.
And he lived Jared two and sixty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enoch.
19 Yaredi bwe yamala okuzaala Enoka n’awangaala emyaka emirala lunaana, omwo n’azaaliramu abaana abalala aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Jared after fathered he Enoch eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
20 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna Yaredi gye yamala ne giba lwenda mu nkaaga mu ebiri, n’afa.
And they were all [the] days of Jared two and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.
21 Enoka bwe yaweza emyaka nkaaga mu etaano n’azaala Mesuseera.
And he lived Enoch five and sixty year[s] and he fathered Methuselah.
22 Enoka n’atambulira wamu ne Katonda, okumala emyaka ebikumi bisatu nga Mesuseera amaze okuzaalibwa, n’azaala abaana abalala aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he walked about Enoch with God after fathered he Methuselah three hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
23 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna egya Enoka ne giba ebikumi bisatu mu nkaaga mu etaano.
And it was all [the] days of Enoch five and sixty year[s] and three hundred year[s].
24 Enoka yatambula ne Katonda, n’ataddamu kulabika, kubanga Katonda yamutwala.
And he walked about Enoch with God and not [was] he for he took him God.
25 Mesuseera bwe yali nga yaakamala emyaka kikumi mu kinaana mu musanvu n’azaala Lameka.
And he lived Methuselah seven and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Lamech.
26 Bwe yamala okuzaala Lameka n’awangaala emyaka emirala lusanvu mu kinaana mu ebiri, n’azaala abaana abalala aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Methuselah after fathered he Lamech two and eighty year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
27 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna Mesuseera gye yamala ne giba lwenda mu nkaaga mu mwenda; n’afa.
And they were all [the] days of Methuselah nine and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.
28 Lameka bwe yali nga wa myaka kikumi mu kinaana mu ebiri n’azaala omwana owoobulenzi
And he lived Lamech two and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered a son.
29 n’amutuuma Nuuwa, ng’agamba nti, “Okuva mu ttaka Mukama lye yakolimira, ono yalituweezaweeza mu mulimu gwaffe, ne mu kutegana kw’emikono gyaffe.”
And he called name his Noah saying this [one] he will comfort us from work our and from [the] pain of hands our from the ground which he has cursed it Yahweh.
30 Lameka n’awangaala emyaka emirala bitaano mu kyenda mu etaano ng’amaze okuzaala Nuuwa, mu gyo n’azaaliramu abaana abalala aboobulenzi n’aboobuwala.
And he lived Lamech after fathered he Noah five and ninety year[s] and five hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
31 Bwe gityo emyaka gyonna Lameka gye yawangaala ne giba lusanvu mu nsanvu mu musanvu.
And it was all [the] days of Lamech seven and seventy year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he died.
32 Nuuwa bwe yaweza emyaka ebikumi bitaano n’azaala Seemu, ne Kaamu ne Yafeesi.
And he was Noah a son of five hundred year[s] and he fathered Noah Shem Ham and Japheth.
