Abaggalatiya 1
1 Nze Pawulo omutume, ataatumibwa bantu wadde omuntu, wabula eyatumibwa Yesu Kristo ne Katonda Kitaffe, eyamuzuukiza mu bafu,
Paul an apostle (not from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),
2 awamu n’abooluganda bonna abali nange tuwandiikira ekkanisa ez’e Ggalatiya,
and all the brethren that are with me, to the churches of Galatia:
3 nga tugamba nti ekisa n’emirembe ebiva eri Katonda Kitaffe n’eri Mukama waffe Yesu Kristo bibeerenga nammwe;
grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Kristo oyo eyeewaayo ku lw’ebibi byaffe, alyoke atununule mu mulembe guno omubi ng’okwagala kwa Katonda, era Kitaffe bwe kuli, (aiōn g165)
who gave himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father: (aiōn g165)
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Naye mbeewuunya kubanga mukyuka mangu okuva ku oyo, eyabayita olw’ekisa kya Kristo, naye ne mukyuka mangu okugoberera Enjiri endala.
I wonder that ye are so soon removed from him who called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel: which is not another;
7 Kubanga tewali njiri ndala, wabula mwawubisibwa abaagala okunyoola n’okukyusa Enjiri ya Kristo.
but there be some that disturb you, and would subvert the gospel of Christ.
8 Omuntu yenna, ne bwe tuba ffe, wadde malayika ava mu ggulu, bw’abuuliranga Enjiri okuggyako gye twababuulira, akolimirwenga.
But tho' we or an angel from heaven should preach to you any other gospel than what we have preached to you; let him be accursed.
9 Nga bwe twasooka okwogera, bwe ntyo nziramu okukyogera nti, omuntu yenna bw’ababuulira Enjiri eteri eyo ggye mwakkiriza akolimirwenga.
I say it again, if any one preach to you any other gospel than what ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 Kale kaakano nkolerera kumatiza bantu oba kusiimibwa Katonda? Oba ngezaako kusanyusa bantu? Singa nnali nkyagezaako okusanyusa abantu, sandibadde muddu wa Kristo.
For do I now persuade you to obey men or God? Or do I seek to please men? if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 Kubanga abooluganda, mbategeeza nti, Enjiri gye nababuulira teyeesigamizibwa ku muntu,
But I assure you, brethren, that the gospel preached by me is not of human invention.
12 era nange saagiweebwa muntu wadde okusomesebwa omuntu wabula Yesu Kristo ye yagimbikkulira.
For I neither received it, nor was taught it by man, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 Mumanyi nga bwe nnali nfaanana nga nkyagoberera eddiini y’Ekiyudaaya, nga bwe nayigganyanga ennyo Ekkanisa ya Katonda okugizikiza,
For ye have heard of my conversation formerly in Judaism, that I outragiously persecuted the church of God, and laid it waste:
14 era nga nnali omu ku bannaddiini abaakulaakulana mu ggwanga lyange, ne nsukkuluma ku Bayudaaya bannange be nakula nabo, era nagezaako nnyo nga bwe nasobola okugoberera empisa zonna ez’edda ez’amateeka g’eddiini yange.
and I made a proficiency in Judaism above many of the same age with me in my own nation, being excessively zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 Naye Katonda bwe yasiima, eyanjawula okuva mu lubuto lwa mmange, n’ampita olw’ekisa kye,
But when it pleased God, (who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, )
16 n’ambikkulira Omwana we ndyoke ŋŋende eri Abaamawanga mbabuulire Enjiri era sseebuuza ku muntu n’omu,
to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach Him among the gentiles; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,
17 newaakubadde okwambuka e Yerusaalemi okwebuuza ku batume, naye nagenda mu Buwalabu era oluvannyuma ne nkomawo e Damasiko.
nor went I up to Jerusalem to those that were apostles before me, but I departed into Arabia, and afterwards returned again to Damascus.
18 Awo bwe waayitawo emyaka esatu ne ŋŋenda e Yerusaalemi okulaba Keefa ne mmala naye ennaku kkumi na ttaano.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and I staid with him fifteen days.
19 Naye ssaalaba mutume mulala wabula Yakobo muganda wa Mukama waffe.
But I saw no other of the apostles, except James the brother of our Lord.
20 Noolwekyo bye mbawandiikira, si bya bulimba mu maaso ga Katonda.
(Now in what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie.)
21 Bwe navaayo ne ndaga mu bitundu eby’e Siriya n’eby’e Kirukiya.
Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia,
22 Era ekkanisa za Kristo mu Buyudaaya zaali tezinnategeera bwe nfaanana.
and was not known in person to the churches of Judea, which were in Christ.
23 Naye nga bamanyi nti, “Eyatuyigganyanga, kaakano abuulira okukkiriza kwe yagezaako okuzikiriza.”
But only they had heard that he who persecuted us before, now preacheth the faith which he formerly would have destroyed.
24 Era ne bagulumiza Katonda ku lwange.
And they glorified God on my account.
