< Ezeekyeri 7 >
1 Awo ekigambo kya Mukama ne kinzijira nti,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “Omwana w’omuntu, bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda eri ensi ya Isirayiri nti: “‘Enkomerero! Enkomerero etuuse ku nsonda ennya ez’ensi.
Thou therefore O son of man. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, To the so of Israel, there is an end, - The end hath come upon the four skirts of the land.
3 Enkomerero ebatuuseeko era ndibasumulurira obusungu bwange, ne mbasalira omusango ng’engeri zammwe bwe ziri era ndibabonereza ng’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive byonna bwe biri.
Now is the end upon thee, Therefore will I send mine anger against thee, And judge thee according to thy ways, - And lay upon thee all thine abominations;
4 Siribatunuulira na liiso lya kisa newaakubadde okubasonyiwa; naye ndibasasula ng’engeri zammwe, n’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive bwe biri mu mmwe. Mulyoke mumanye nga nze Mukama.’
And mine eye shall not shield thee. Neither will I pity, —. For thy ways—upon thee, will I lay. And thine abominations in thy midst, shall be found, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
5 “Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti: “‘Okuzikirizibwa okutali kumu laba kujja.
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: A calamity, a sole calamity, lo! it hath come.
6 Enkomerero etuuse, enkomerero etuuse! Ebagolokokeddeko era ejja.
An end hath come, Come hath the end It hath roused itself up against thee, — Lo! it hath come.
7 Akabi kabajjidde, mmwe abatuuze. Ekiseera kituuse era olunaku luli kumpi, olunaku olw’okutya so si olw’okujaguliriza ku nsozi.
The circle hath come round unto thee. O inhabitant of the land, - The time, hath come, The day of consternation, hath drawn near. And not the joyful shout of the mountains.
8 Nnaatera okubalaga obusungu bwange, n’ekiruyi kyange. Ndibasalira omusango ng’enneeyisa yammwe bw’eri, ne mbasasula ng’ebikolwa byammwe byonna eby’ekkive bwe biri.
Now shortly, will I pour out mine indignation upon thee, And will bring to an end mine anger against thee, And will judge thee according to thy ways, - And will lay upon thee all thine abominations.
9 Siribatunuulira na liiso lya kisa newaakubadde okubasonyiwa. Ndibabonereza ng’engeri zammwe bwe ziri n’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive bwe biri mu mmwe. Mulyoke mumanye nga nze Mukama Katonda, era mbonereza.
And mine eye shall not shield thee Neither will I have pity, — According to thy ways, unto thee will I render, And thine abominations, in thy midst shall be found, So shall ye know that I, Yahweh am smiting.
10 “‘Olunaku luuluno lutuuse. Akabi kabajjidde, obutali bwenkanya bumeze, n’amalala gamulisizza.
Lo! the day, Lo! it hath come, The circle, hath gone forth, The sceptre, hath blossomed, Insolence hath sprouted:
11 Obusungu bweyongedde ne bufuuka omuggo okubonereza obutali butuukirivu; tewaliba n’omu alisigalawo; tewaliba n’omu ku kibiina newaakubadde ku byobugagga byabwe, newaakubadde eky’omuwendo.
Violence hath risen up as a sceptre of lawlessness, —There are none of them And none of their multitude And none of their throngs And no lamentation over them.
12 Ekiseera kituuse, n’olunaku lutuuse. Agula aleme okusanyukirira, n’oyo atunda aleme okunakuwala, kubanga obusungu bubuubuukidde ku kibiina kyonna.
The time hath come. The day hath arrived, The buyer, let him not rejoice, and The seller, let him not mourn, — For indignation, is against all her multitude.
13 Atunda taliddizibwa kintu kye yatunda, bombi bwe banaaba nga bakyali balamu. Kubanga okubonerezebwa kuli ku kibiina kyonna so tekukyajulukuka. Era olw’ebibi byabwe tewaliba n’omu aliwonya obulamu bwe.
For the seller, unto that which is to be sold, shall not return, though yet among the living, were their life, for the vision is against all her multitude. He shall not return, And, no man, by his punishment, shall strengthen, his life.
14 “‘Ne bwe balifuuwa ekkondeere ne bateekateeka buli kimu, tewaliba n’omu aligenda mu lutalo, kubanga obusungu bwange bubuubuukidde ku kibiina kyonna.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make All ready, Yet is there none going to the battle; For mine indignation is against all her multitude.
15 Ebweru waliyo ekitala ne munda waliyo kawumpuli n’enjala. Abali ku ttale balifa kitala, abali mu kibuga balimalibwawo kawumpuli n’enjala.
The sword without, and Pestilence and famine within, — He that is in the field by the sword, shall die, and He that is in the city famine or pestilence shall devour him;
16 N’abo abaliwonawo baliddukira mu nsozi, nga bakaaba nga bukaamukuukulu obw’omu biwonvu, buli omu olw’ebibi bye.
While they who escape of them shall escape and become on the mountains as the doves of the valleys, all of them cooing, —each one in his punishment.
17 Emikono gyonna giriremala, n’amaviivi gonna galiba ng’amazzi.
All hands shall be unnerved; and All knees shall be weak as water,
18 Balyambala ebibukutu, ne bakwatibwa ensisi; baliswala, n’emitwe gyabwe girimwebwa.
Therefore shall they gird themselves with sackcloth, And shuddering shall cover them, -And in all faces, shall be paleness, And in all their heads, baldness.
19 “‘Balisuula effeeza yaabwe mu nguudo, ne zaabu yaabwe eriba ekitali kirongoofu; effeeza yaabwe ne zaabu yaabwe tebiriyinza kubalokola ku lunaku lwa Mukama olw’obusungu bwe. Era tebalikkuta newaakubadde okukkusibwa. Ebyo bye byabaleetera okugwa mu kibi.
Their silver into the streets, shall they cast and Their gold for throwing away, shall serve, Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahweh, Their craving, shall they not satisfy, and Their belly, shall they not fill, For a stumbling-block, hath their iniquity become.
20 Ebintu byabwe eby’omuwendo byabaleetera amalala, era ekyavaamu kwe kukola bakatonda abalala ab’emizizo n’ebintu ebirala eby’ekivve, era kyendiva mbifuula ebitali birongoofu gye bali.
When, the beauty of his own ornament, he had, in majesty, placed, Then, the images, of their abominations Their detestable things, Made they therein, — For this cause have I delivered it up to them for removal;
21 Ndibiwaayo byonna eri bannamawanga n’eri abakozi b’ebibi ab’omu nsi okuba omunyago era balibyonoona.
Yea I will deliver it Into the hand of foreigners for a prey, And to the lawless ones of the earth for a spoil, And they will profane it;
22 Ndikyusa amaaso gange ne si batunuulira, era balyonoona ekifo kyange eky’omuwendo; n’abanyazi balikiyingiramu ne bakyonoona.
And I will turn away my face from them, And they will profane my cherished place, —Yea there will enter it violent men Who will profane it.
23 “‘Muteeketeeke enjegere kubanga ensi ejjudde omusango ogw’okuyiwa omusaayi, n’ekibuga kijjudde effujjo.
Prepare thou a chain, — For, the land, is full of the crime of bloodshed, And, the city, is full of violence.
24 Ndireeta eggwanga erisingirayo ddala okuba ebbi, ne batwala ennyumba zaabwe, era ndikomya amalala gaabwe n’ebifo byabwe ebitukuvu biryonoonebwa.
So then I will bring in the wicked ones of the nations, And they shall take possession of their houses, —And I will cause to cease the pomp of the strong ones, And their holy places shall be profaned.
25 Entiisa bw’erijja, balinoonya emirembe naye tebaligifuna.
Destruction, hath entered, - And they shall seek welfare and there be none.
26 Akabi kalyeyongera ku kabi, ne ŋŋambo ne zeeyongera; balinoonya okwolesebwa okuva eri nnabbi, naye okuyigirizibwa kwa kabona kulibula n’okubuulirira kw’abakadde kulyerabirwa.
Disaster upon disaster, shall come, And report after report shall arise, Therefore shall they seek a vision from prophet, And law shall perish from priest. And counsel from elders.
27 Kabaka alikaaba, n’omulangira alijjula obuyinike, n’emikono gy’abantu mu ggwanga girikankana olw’entiisa. Ndibakolako ng’enneeyisa yaabwe bw’eri, era ndibasalira omusango ng’ensala yaabwe bw’eri. Balyoke bamanye nga nze Mukama Katonda.’”
The king, shall mourn and, The chief, shall clothe himself with astonishment, and, the hands of the people of the land, shall be wrung in anguish, — After their own way, will I deal with them and, With their own sentences, will I sentence them, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
