1 “‘Bwe muligabana ensi ng’omugabo gwammwe, musalangako ekitundu ekya Mukama ku nsi eyo, ky’ekifo ekitukuvu, obuwanvu mayilo munaana, n’obugazi mayilo mukaaga era ekifo kyonna kinaabanga kitukuvu.
When you allocate the land ownership by lot, you are to make a provision for the Lord, a holy allocation of the land that measures 25,000 cubits long and 20,000 cubits wide. This whole area is holy.
2 Ku ttaka eryo kunaasalibwangako ekifo eky’Awatukuvu ekyenkana mita ebikumi bibiri mu nkaaga buli ludda mu buwanvu ne mu bugazi, n’oluggya okukyetooloola luliba lwa mita amakumi abiri mu mukaaga.
Inside this there is the section for the sanctuary that measures 500 cubits square, with an open area around it 50 cubits wide.
3 Mu kifo ekitukuvu olipima ekigera obuwanvu mayilo munaana, n’obugazi mayilo ssatu, era omwo mwe muliba awatukuvu, Ekifo Ekitukuvu Ennyo.
From this holy allocation, measure out a section that is 25,000 cubits by 10,000 cubits. This will contain the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.
4 Ekyo kye kiriba ekifo ekitukuvu ekya bakabona abaweereza mu watukuvu, era abasemberera Mukama okumuweereza. Kye kiriba ekifo eky’ennyumba zaabwe n’ekigo ekitukuvu eky’Awatukuvu.
This area is a holy allocation of the land which will be used by the priests who serve in the sanctuary, who come before the Lord to minister. It will be where they can live, and a holy place for the sanctuary.
5 Ekifo ekirala obuwanvu mayilo musanvu n’obugazi mayilo ssatu kye kiriba eky’Abaleevi, abaweereza mu yeekaalu, era baliba n’ebisenge amakumi abiri eby’okubeeramu ng’ebyo bye bikola ebibuga byabwe.’
The other section measuring 25,000 cubits by 10,000 cubits will be assigned the Levites who work in the Temple where they can live.
6 “‘Muteekeddwa okuwa ekibuga obutaka bwakyo: obugazi mayilo emu n’ekitundu, n’obuwanvu mayilo musanvu okuliraana ekifo eky’omugabo omutukuvu, era kiriba kya nnyumba yonna eya Isirayiri.’
Allocate to the city an area 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long beside the sanctuary section. It is for the all the people of Israel.
7 “‘Omulangira alifuna ettaka ku nsalo eri wakati w’omugabo omutukuvu n’ettaka ery’ekibuga, ku luuyi olw’Ebugwanjuba ne ku luuyi olw’ebuvanjuba, mu buwanvu nga buva Ebugwanjuba ne butuuka Ebuvanjuba okuliraana n’omugabo ogw’ekika ekimu.
The prince will be assigned the territory on both sides of the area that includes the holy section and that of the city. It will extend to the western border of the country from the west side and to the eastern border from the east side, in the same way as the allocation to the tribes.
8 Ettaka eryo lye linaabanga omugabo gwe mu Isirayiri so n’abalangira tebaajoogenga bantu bange naye balikkiriza ennyumba ya Isirayiri okufuna omugabo mu nsi ng’ebika byabwe bwe biri.’
This territory will be his to own in the country of Israel. My princes won't exploit my people anymore, and will make sure the people of Israel occupy the country according to their tribal allocations.
9 “‘Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti; Kye mukoze kimala, mmwe abalangira ba Isirayiri! Temukuluusanya abantu bange n’okubanyigiriza, mutuukirize eby’ensonga era ebituufu. Temubagobaganya, bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.
This is what the Lord God says: You've done enough damage, princes of Israel! Stop using violence and mistreating people! Do what is good and right. Stop evicting people and stealing their property, declares the Lord God.
10 Munaakozesanga minzaani entuufu okupima ebikalu era n’ebitali bikalu ebiyiika.
You must use correct methods of measurement—whether it's weights on scales, or ephah for measuring solids, and a bath for measuring liquids.
11 Efa n’ensuwa binaabanga bya kigera kimu, ensuwa ng’egyamu eky’ekimu eky’ekkumi eky’ekomeri, n’efa ng’egyamu eky’ekimu eky’ekkumi eky’ekomeri, ng’ekomeri kye kigera ekikozesebwa.
The ephah and the bath shall be the same quantity of volume. The bath will be equivalent to a tenth of a homer, and the ephah will also be equivalent to a tenth of a homer. The homer is to be the fundamental measurement.
12 Sekeri eriba gera amakumi abiri, era sekeri amakumi abiri n’ogattako sekeri amakumi abiri mu ttaano, n’oyongerako sekeri kkumi na ttaano, n’ewera maane emu, ekyo kye kiriba ekigera kyammwe.
Twenty gerahs make one shekel. Sixty shekels make one mina.
13 “‘Kino kye kirabo eky’enjawulo kye muliwaayo: kilo biri n’obutundu musanvu n’ekitundu ez’eŋŋaano, ne kilo bbiri n’obutundu bubiri n’ekitundu eza sayiri.
These are the taxes you are to contribute: one sixth of an ephah from every homer of wheat or barley.
14 Omugabo ogw’amafuta, ogupimibbwa n’ensuwa, guliba lita bbiri n’obutundu bubiri.
In the case of olive oil, one tenth of a bath from every cor. (The measurement is based on baths, and a cor consists of ten baths or one homer, since ten baths equal one homer.)
15 Era muliwaayo endiga emu okuva mu kisibo ekimu, buli kisibo nga kirimu endiga ebikumi bibiri, ezirundibwa ku malundiro amagimu aga Isirayiri. Ebyo bye biriba ebiweebwayo eby’obutta n’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa, n’ebiweebwayo olw’emirembe, okubatangiriranga, bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.
In addition one sheep is to be supplied from every flock of two hundred from the green pastures of Israel. These are to provide for the grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to set the people right, declares the Lord God.
16 Abantu bonna ab’omu nsi banaawangayo ekirabo ekyo eri omulangira mu Isirayiri.
Everyone in the country has to make these contributions to the prince in Israel.
17 Omulangira anavunaanyizibwanga okuwaayo ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa, n’ebiweebwayo eby’obutta, n’ebiweebwayo eby’okunywa ku mbaga ez’emyezi egyakaboneka n’eza Ssabbiiti, ne ku mbaga zonna ezaalagirwa ez’ennyumba ya Isirayiri; y’anaagabulanga ebiweebwayo olw’ebibi, n’ebiweebwayo eby’obutta, n’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa, n’ebiweebwayo olw’emirembe, okutangiriranga ennyumba ya Isirayiri.
The prince's role is to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings for the religious festivals, New Moons, and Sabbaths—in fact for all the regular religious festivals of the people of Israel. He is to provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings to set the people of Israel right.
18 “‘Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, Mu mwezi ogw’olubereberye ku lunaku olw’olubereberye mu mwezi, oliddira ente ennume nga nto eteriiko kamogo, n’ogiwaayo okutukuza awatukuvu.
This is what the Lord God says: On the first day of the first month you are to sacrifice a young bull that has no defects to purify the sanctuary.
19 Kabona anaddiranga ku musaayi ogw’ekiweebwayo olw’ekibi n’agumansira ku mifuubeeto gy’enzigi za yeekaalu, ne ku nsonda ennya ez’ekyoto ne ku mifuubeeto egy’omulyango ogw’oluggya olw’omunda.
The priest shall take some of the blood from the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the Temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar, and on the gateposts of the inner courtyard.
20 Bwe mutyo bwe munaakolanga ku lunaku olw’omusanvu olw’omwezi ku lw’omuntu yenna aliba ayonoonye mu butali bugenderevu n’oyo aliba ayonoonye olw’obutamanya; bwe mutyo bwe munaatangiriranga eyeekaalu.
You are also to do this on the seventh day of the month on behalf of anyone who does wrong unintentionally or in ignorance. By doing this you purify the Temple.
21 “‘Mu mwezi ogw’olubereberye ku lunaku olw’ekkumi n’ennya mukwatenga Okuyitako, era ku mbaga eyo munaalyanga emigaati egitali mizimbulukuse okumala ennaku musanvu.
You are to keep the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. This is a religious festival that lasts seven days, during which time bread made without yeast is to be eaten.
22 Ku lunaku olwo omulangira alireeta ku lulwe ne ku lw’abantu bonna ab’omu nsi ente ennume nga nto okuba ekiweebwayo olw’ekibi.
On that day the prince will provide a bull as a sin offering for himself and for everyone on the country.
23 Buli lunaku mu nnaku omusanvu ez’embaga, anaawangayo ente ennume nga nto musanvu n’endiga ennume musanvu nga teziriiko kamogo, okuba ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa eri Mukama.
Every day for the seven days of the festival, he will provide seven bulls and seven rams without defects as a burnt offering to the Lord, together with a male goat for a sin offering.
24 Anaagabanga n’ekiweebwayo eky’obutta, kilo mwenda ku lwa buli nte nto ennume, n’efa ku lwa buli ndiga ennume, ne lita nnya ez’amafuta buli efa.
He will also provide an ephah of grain and a hin of olive oil as an offering to accompany each bull and each ram.
25 “‘Mu mwezi ogw’omusanvu, ku lunaku olw’ekkumi n’ettaano mu mwezi, anaateekwa okugabanga ebiweebwayo olw’ekibi, n’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa, n’ebiweebwayo eby’obutta n’amafuta okumala ennaku musanvu ez’embaga.’
For the seven days of the festival that begins on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, he is to provide the same number of sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings, and olive oil.
