< Ezeekyeri 29 >
1 Awo mu mwaka ogw’ekkumi, mu mwezi ogw’ekkumi ku lunaku olw’ekkumi n’ebbiri, ekigambo kya Mukama Katonda ne kinzijira n’aŋŋamba nti,
In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
2 “Omwana w’omuntu, tunula eri Falaawo, ye kabaka w’e Misiri olangirire obunnabbi gy’ali n’eri Misiri yonna.
'Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt — all of it.
3 Yogera gy’ali nti, ‘Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, “‘Nkulinako ensonga, Falaawo, ggwe kabaka w’e Misiri, ggwe ogusota ogunene ogugalamidde wakati mu migga gyagwo, ogwogera nti, “Kiyira wange, era nze nnamwekolera.”
Speak, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who hath said, My flood [is] my own, And I — I have made it [for] myself.
4 Nditeeka amalobo mu mba zo, era ndireetera n’ebyennyanja eby’omu migga gyo okukwatira ku magamba go. Ndikusikayo mu migga gyo ng’ebyennyanja byonna bikwatidde ku magamba go.
And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And I have caused the fish of thy floods to cleave to thy scales, And I have caused thee to come up from the midst of thy floods, And every fish of thy floods to thy scales doth cleave.
5 Ndikutwala mu ddungu, ggwe n’ebyennyanja byonna eby’omu migga gyo. Oligwa ku ttale, so tolikuŋŋaanyizibwa newaakubadde okulondebwalondebwa. Ndikuwaayo okuba emmere eri ensolo enkambwe ez’oku nsi n’eri ebinyonyi eby’omu bbanga.
And I have left thee in the wilderness, Thou and every fish of thy floods, On the face of the field thou dost fall, Thou art not gathered nor assembled, To the beast of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens I have given thee for food.
6 Awo bonna ababeera mu Misiri balimanya nga nze Mukama Katonda. “‘Obadde muggo gwa lumuli eri ennyumba ya Isirayiri.
And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Jehovah, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7 Bwe bakunyweza n’emikono gyabwe, n’omenyekamenyeka, n’oyuza ebibegabega byabwe; bwe baakwesigamako, n’omenyeka, era n’okutula n’emigongo gyabwe.
In their taking hold of thee by thy hand, — thou art crushed, And hast rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on thee thou art broken, And hast caused all their thighs to stand.
8 “‘Mukama Katonda kyava ayogera nti: Ndikujjira n’ekitala, n’enzita abantu bo n’ebisolo byabwe.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am bringing in against thee a sword, And have cut off from thee man and beast.
9 Ensi ey’e Misiri erifuuka matongo era ensiko, balyoke bamanye nga nze Mukama Katonda. “‘Kubanga wayogera nti, “Kiyira wange, nze namukola,”
And the land of Egypt hath been for a desolation and a waste, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah. Because he said: The flood [is] mine, and I made [it].
10 kyennaava mbeera n’ensonga eri ggwe n’eri emigga gyo, era ndifuula ensi ey’e Misiri okuba ensiko enjereere ejjudde amatongo okuva ku mulongooti ogw’e Sevene okutuuka ku nsalo ey’e Buwesiyopya.
Therefore, lo, I [am] against thee, and against thy floods, And have given the land of Egypt for wastes, A waste, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And unto the border of Cush.
11 Tewaliba kigere kya muntu newaakubadde ky’ensolo ekiri giyitamu, so teribeerwamu okumala emyaka amakumi ana.
Not pass over into it doth a foot of man, Yea, the foot of beast doth not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years.
12 Ndifuula ensi ey’e Misiri okuba amatongo wakati mu nsi ezaazika, era n’ebibuga byakyo biriba byereere okumala emyaka amakumi ana. Ndibunya Abamisiri mu mawanga ne mbataataanyiza mu nsi nnyingi.
And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of waste cities, Are a desolation forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands.
13 “‘Naye Mukama Katonda agamba nti; Oluvannyuma lw’emyaka amakumi ana ndikuŋŋaanya Abamisiri okuva mu mawanga gye baasaasaanira,
But thus said the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples whither they have been scattered,
14 era ndibakomyawo okuva mu busibe ne mbazza mu nsi ey’e Pasulo, ensi eya bajjajjaabwe, era eyo baliba bwakabaka obwajeezebwa.
And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been there a low kingdom.
15 Bulisinga obwakaba bwonna okujeezebwa, so tebulyegulumiza nate okusinga amawanga amalala. Ndiginafuyiza ddala, era tebalifuga nate amawanga.
Of the kingdoms it is lowest, And it lifteth not up itself any more above the nations, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations.
16 Misiri talyesigibwa nate abantu ba Isirayiri, naye eriba kijjukizo eky’ekibi kubanga baabakyukira nga banoonya okuyambibwa. Olwo balimanya nga nze Mukama Katonda.’”
And it is no more to the house of Israel for a confidence, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.'
17 Awo mu mwaka ogw’amakumi abiri mu omusanvu, mu mwezi ogw’olubereberye ku lunaku olusooka mu mwezi, ekigambo kya Mukama ne kinzijira n’aŋŋamba nti,
And it cometh to pass, in the twenty and seventh year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying:
18 “Omwana w’omuntu, Nebukadduneeza kabaka w’e Babulooni yaweereza eggye lye ne lirumba Ttuulo, buli mutwe ne gufuna ekiwalaata ne buli kibegabega ne kimenyebwa, naye ye n’eggye lye ne bataweebwa mpeera olw’okulumba Ttuulo.
'Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Hath caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald — every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it.
19 Mukama Katonda kyava ayogera nti, Nebukadduneeza kabaka w’e Babulooni ndimuwa Misiri ne yeetikka obugagga bwe, n’abanyagira ddala era y’eriba empeera ey’eggye lye.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he hath taken away its store, And hath taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it hath been a reward to his force.
20 Mmuwadde ensi ey’e Misiri okuba empeera ye gye yafubirira kubanga ye n’eggye lye bankolera omulimu, bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.
His wage for which he laboured I have given to him, The land of Egypt — in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
21 “Ku lunaku olwo ndiyimusa ejjembe ery’amaanyi mu nnyumba ya Isirayiri, era ndiyasamya akamwa ko mu bo. Olwo balimanya nga nze Mukama.”
In that day I cause to shoot up a horn to the house of Israel, And to thee I give an opening of the mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
