< Ezeekyeri 13 >
1 Ekigambo kya Mukama Katonda ne kinzijira ng’agamba nti,
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 “Omwana w’omuntu, yogera ebyobunnabbi eri bannabbi ba Isirayiri aboogera obunnabbi kaakano. Tegeeza abo aboogera obunnabbi bwe bayiiyizza nti, ‘Muwulire ekigambo kya Mukama.
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say to them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of Jehovah!
3 Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, zibasanze bannabbi abasirusiru abagoberera omwoyo gwabwe ate nga tebalina kye balabye.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 Isirayiri, bannabbi bo bali ng’ebibe ebitambulatambula mu bifulukwa.
Thy prophets, O Israel, are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 Temwambuse kuddaabiriza bbugwe n’okuziba ebituli ebirimu ku lw’ennyumba ya Isirayiri, esobole okuyimirira nga ngumu mu lutalo ku lunaku lwa Mukama Katonda.
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor built a wall around the house of Israel, to stand in battle in the day of Jehovah.
6 Okwolesebwa kwabwe kukyamu, n’okubikkulirwa kwabwe kwa bulimba. Mukama ne bw’aba tabatumye boogera nti, “bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda,” ne bamusuubira okutuukiriza ebyo bye boogedde.
They see falsehood, and lying divination. They say, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when Jehovah hath not sent them; and they cause men to hope for the fulfilment of the word.
7 Temulabye kwolesebwa kukyamu ne mwogera n’okubikkulirwa okw’obulimba, bwe mwogedde nti, “Mukama bw’ati bw’ayogera,” newaakubadde nga mba soogedde?
Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, and said, “Jehovah hath spoken,” when I have not spoken?
8 “‘Noolwekyo bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, olw’ebigambo byo ebikyamu n’olw’okwolesebwa kwo okw’obulimba, ndi mulabe wo.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood and have seen a lie, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
9 Omukono gwange gulibeera ku bannabbi abalaba okwolesebwa okukyamu era aboogera okubikkulirwa okw’obulimba. Tebalituula mu kibiina eky’abantu bange newaakubadde okuwandiikibwa ku nkalala z’ennyumba ya Isirayiri, wadde okuyingira mu nsi ya Isirayiri. Olwo olimanya nga nze Mukama Katonda.
My hand shall be against the prophets that see falsehood and divine lies. They shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
10 “‘Olw’okuba nga babuzaabuza abantu bange nga boogera nti, “Mirembe,” ate nga tewali mirembe, ate bwe bazimba bbugwe omunafu, ne basiigako langi okubikka bye batazimbye bulungi,
Because, yea, because they seduce my people, and say, “Peace!” when there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar;
11 kyonoova ogamba abo ababikkirira ne langi nti bbugwe aligwa. Enkuba eritonnya nnyo, era ndisindika omuzira, n’embuyaga ez’amaanyi zirikunta.
say to them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall; there shall be an overflowing shower, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12 Bbugwe bw’aligwa, abantu tebalikubuuza nti, “Langi gye wasiigako eruwa?”
So when the wall is fallen, shall not men say to you, “Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
13 “‘Noolwekyo bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, Mu kiruyi kyange ndisindika kibuyaga ow’amaanyi, ne mu busungu bwange ndisindika omuzira, ne mu bukambwe obungi enkuba ennyingi ennyo eritonnya okukizikiriza.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury, and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 Ndimenya bbugwe gwe mwasiiga langi musaasaanye ku ttaka, n’omusingi gwe gusigale nga gwasaamiridde. Bw’aligwa, alikugwiira n’ozikirizibwa, olyoke omanye nga nze Mukama Katonda.
Thus I will break down the wall which ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and will bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.
15 Ndimalira ekiruyi kyange ku bbugwe ne ku abo abaakisiiga langi, nga ŋŋamba nti, “Bbugwe agenze, era abaamusiiga langi nabo balugenze,
Thus will I accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor they that daubed it;
16 abo bannabbi ba Isirayiri abaayogera eby’obunnabbi eri Yerusaalemi ne balabikirwa okwolesebwa ow’emirembe gye bali, ate nga tewaaliwo mirembe, bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.”’
even the prophets of Israel, who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and see visions of peace for her when there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
17 “Kaakano omwana w’omuntu, amaaso go gateeke ku bawala b’abantu bo aboogera eby’obunnabbi bye bayiiyizza. Bawe obunnabbi, oyogere nti,
Likewise, son of man, set thou thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them.
18 ‘Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, Zibasanze abakazi abatunga ebikomo eby’obulogo ku mikono gyabwe ne batunga ebyokwebikkirira ku mutwe ebiwanvu mu ngeri ez’enjawulo basobole okutega abantu. Olitega obulamu bw’abantu bange, naye ne weesigaliza obubwo?
And say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew cushions for all elbows, and make pillows for heads of every stature, to ensnare men to destruction! Will ye hunt the lives of my people, and shall ye save your own?
19 Onswazizza mu bantu bange olw’embatu entono eza sayiri n’olw’obukunkumuka bw’emigaati, bw’osse abantu abatateekwa kuttibwa, ate n’oleka abatateekwa kuba balamu, ng’obalimba nabo ne bawuliriza eby’obulimba.
And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley, and for pieces of bread, slaying them that should not die, and saving them alive that should not live, by lying to my people, who hearken to your lies?
20 “‘Noolwekyo bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti, Ndi mulabe w’obulogo bwo, bw’okozesa okuteega abantu ng’ateega ebinyonyi, era ndibaggya mu mikono gyo. Ndinunula abantu be wateega ng’ebinyonyi n’obasiba.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will set myself against the cushions with which ye ensnare men to destruction, so that they shall escape you; and I will tear them from your arms, and make them free whom ye would ensnare, so that they shall escape you.
21 Ndiyuza ebyambalo byo ebyokwebikkirira, ne mponya abantu bange mu mikono gyo, ne bataddayo kugwa mu mutego gwa buyinza bwo, olyoke omanye nga nze Mukama Katonda.
Your pillows also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be ensnared, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
22 Kubanga wanakuwaza abatuukirivu n’obulimba bwo, ate nga nnali sibanakuwazza. Olw’okuleetera abakozi b’ebibi okweyongera mu ngeri zaabwe ezitali za butuukirivu, n’owonya obulamu bwabwe,
Because with lies ye have made sad the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad, and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life;
23 ky’oliva olemwa okulaba okwolesebwa okukyamu wadde okufuna okubikkulirwa. Ndiwonya abantu bange okuva mu mikono gyo, olyokye omanye nga nze Mukama Katonda.’”
therefore shall ye no more see falsehood, nor divine divinations; but I will deliver my people out of your hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
