1 Awo Mukama n’agamba Musa nti,
The Lord told Moses,
2 “Ku lunaku olw’olubereberye olw’omwezi ogw’olubereberye kw’olisimbira Eweema ya Mukama, Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu.
“Put up the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the first month of the year.
3 Essanduuko ey’Endagaano oligiyingiza mu Weema; Essanduuko n’olyoka ogisiikiriza n’eggigi.
Place the Ark of the Testimony inside it. Make sure the Ark is behind the veil.
4 Oliyingiza emmeeza, n’otegeka bulungi byonna ebigikolerwako. Oliyingiza ekikondo ky’ettaala era n’otegekako ettaala zaakwo n’ozikoleeza.
Bring in the table and put on it what's necessary. Bring in the lampstand too, and set up its lamps.
5 Era oliteeka ekyoto ekya zaabu eky’okwoterezangako obubaane mu maaso g’Essanduuko ey’Endagaano, n’ossaawo olutimbe mu mulyango gw’Eweema ya Mukama.
Place the gold altar of incense in front of the Ark of the Testimony, and put up the screen at the entrance to the Tabernacle.
6 “Ekyoto eky’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa olikissa mu maaso g’omulyango ogwa Weema ya Mukama, Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu,
Set up the altar of burnt offering opposite the entrance to the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
7 olyoke oteeke ebbensani wakati wa Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu n’ekyoto, mu bbensani oteekemu amazzi.
Place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
8 Olikola oluggya okwebungulula Weema ya Mukama, n’ossaawo olutimbe mu mulyango oguyingira mu luggya.
Set up the courtyard that's around it, and put up the curtain for the courtyard entrance.
9 “Oliddira amafuta ag’okwawula n’ogamansa ku Weema ya Mukama ne byonna ebigirimu, olyoke oyawule Eweema ya Mukama n’ebigirimu byonna, ebeere ntukuvu.
Use the anointing oil to anoint the Tabernacle and everything in it. Dedicate it and all its furniture to make it holy.
10 Olimansira amafuta ku kyoto eky’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa n’ebikozesebwako byonna, n’oyawula ekyoto, bwe kityo ekyoto kiribeera kitukuvu nnyo.
Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils. Dedicate the altar and it will be especially holy.
11 Era n’ebbensani oligimansirako amafuta, ne kw’etuula, n’ogyawula, n’ogitukuza.
Anoint and dedicate the basin with its stand.
12 “Olireeta Alooni ne batabani be ku mulyango gw’Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, n’obanaaza n’amazzi,
Take Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and wash them there with water.
13 n’oyambaza Alooni ebyambalo ebitukuvu n’omusiigako amafuta n’omwawula, alyoke ampeereze nga kabona.
Then you are to put on Aaron the holy clothes, anoint him, and dedicate him, so that he may serve me as a priest.
14 Olireeta ne batabani be n’obambaza ekkanzu ey’obwakabona,
Have his sons come forward and dress them with tunics.
15 n’obasiigako amafuta, nga bwe wasiize ku kitaabwe, balyoke bampeereze nga bakabona: era okusiigibwako amafuta okwo kulibafuula bakabona ebbanga lyonna mu mirembe gyabwe.”
Anoint them in the same way as you anointed their father, so that they can also serve me as priests. Their anointing makes their line priests forever, for generations to come.”
16 Musa bw’atyo n’akola ebyo byonna nga Mukama bwe yamulagira.
Moses carried out all the Lord's instructions.
17 Awo ku lunaku olusooka mu mwezi ogw’olubereberye, mu mwaka ogwokubiri, Eweema ya Mukama n’esimbibwa.
The Tabernacle was put up on the first day of the first month of the second year.
18 Musa n’asimba Eweema ya Mukama; n’ateekateeka ebya wansi mw’etuula, n’ategeka olukangaga lwayo, n’asimba empagi zaayo;
When Moses put up the Tabernacle, he placed its stands, attached its frames, connected its crossbars, and erected its posts.
19 n’assaako ekibikka ku Weema ya Mukama, nga Mukama bwe yamulagira.
Then he spread the tent over the Tabernacle and placed the covering over the tent, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
20 N’addira Endagaano, ey’ebipande eby’amayinja okwasalibwa Amateeka Ekkumi, n’agiteeka munda mu Ssanduuko ey’Endagaano, n’assa emisituliro ku Ssanduuko ey’Endagaano, n’assaako kungulu ekisaanikira, ye ntebe ey’okusaasira;
Moses took the Testimony and put it in the Ark. He attached the poles to the Ark, and he placed the atonement cover on the top of the Ark.
21 n’ayingiza Essanduuko ey’Endagaano munda mu Weema ya Mukama, n’atimbawo eggigi, n’asiikiriza Essanduuko ey’Endagaano, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
Then he carried the Ark into the Tabernacle. He put up the veil, and made sure the Ark of the Testimony was behind it, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
22 N’ayingiza emmeeza mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, n’agiteeka ku ludda olw’Obukiikakkono olwa Weema ya Mukama, wabweru w’eggigi,
Moses placed the table inside the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the Tabernacle, outside the veil.
23 n’assaako emigaati ng’agitegese bulungi awali Mukama, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
He laid out the bread on it in the presence of the Lord, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
24 N’assa ekikondo ky’ettaala mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu ku ludda olw’Obukiikaddyo obw’Eweema ya Mukama, okwolekera emmeeza,
He placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the Tabernacle
25 n’ategeka ettaala awali Mukama, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
and put up the lamps in the presence of the Lord, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
26 N’ayingiza ekyoto ekya zaabu mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu mu maaso g’eggigi,
Moses set up the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil,
27 n’ayokerako obubaane obwa kawoowo, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
and he burned aromatic incense on it, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
28 N’ateeka olutimbe olw’omu mulyango gw’Eweema ya Mukama mu kifo kyalwo.
Then he put up the screen at the entrance to the Tabernacle.
29 N’ateeka ekyoto eky’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa ku mulyango gw’Eweema ya Mukama, Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, n’aweerayo okwo ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa eky’obuwunga, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
He set up the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and presented the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the Lord had ordered him to do.
30 N’atereeza ebbensani wakati wa Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu n’ekyoto, n’assaamu amazzi ag’okunaaba;
He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.
31 Musa ne Alooni ne batabani ba Alooni mwe baanaabiranga engalo zaabwe n’ebigere byabwe.
Moses, Aaron, and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet
32 Buli lwe baayingiranga mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, ne buli lwe baasembereranga ekyoto nga banaaba, nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
They washed whenever they went into the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
33 N’akola oluggya okwebungulula Weema ya Mukama n’ekyoto, n’assaawo olutimbe mu mulyango oguyingira mu luggya. Bw’atyo Musa omulimu n’agumaliriza.
Moses set up the courtyard around the Tabernacle and the altar, and he put up the curtain for the courtyard entrance. This marked the end of the work done by Moses.
34 Awo ekire ne kibuutikira Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, yonna n’ejjula ekitiibwa kya Mukama.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.
35 Musa n’atasobola kuyingira mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, kubanga ekire kyagibuutikira, n’ekitiibwa kya Mukama ne kijijjula.
Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud remained on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.
36 Mu lugendo lwabwe lwonna, ekire bwe kyaggyibwanga ku Weema ya Mukama, olwo abaana ba Isirayiri nga basitula nga batambula;
Whenever the cloud rose from the Tabernacle, the Israelites would set off again on their journey.
37 naye ekire bwe kitaggyibwangako ku Weema ya Mukama, olwo nga tebasitula kutambula okutuusa ku lunaku lwe kyaggyibwangako.
If the cloud did not rise, they wouldn't set out until it did.
38 Ekire kya Mukama kyabeeranga ku Weema ya Mukama emisana, ate ekiro nga mu kire ekyo mubaamu muliro, ng’abaana ba Isirayiri bonna ebyo babiraba mu lugendo lwabwe lwonna.
The cloud of the Lord stayed over the Tabernacle by day, and fire burned inside the cloud by night, so that it could be seen by every Israelite wherever they traveled.
