2 Abakkolinso 6
1 Ffe ng’abakolera awamu ne Katonda, tubeegayirira, ekisa kya Katonda kye mufunye, kireme kufa bwereere.
And also working together we call on [you] that you do not receive the grace of God in vain—
2 Kubanga agamba nti, “Nakuwulira mu biro ebituufu, era ne nkuyamba ku lunaku olw’obulokozi.” Laba kaakano kye kiseera ekituufu, era laba kaakano lwe lunaku olw’obulokozi.
for He says, “In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation I helped you, behold, now [is] a well-accepted time; behold, now, a day of salvation.”
3 Tetuleeta kintu kyonna kyesittaza, obuweereza bwaffe buleme okunenyezebwa,
In nothing giving any cause of offense, that the ministry may not be blamed,
4 naye mu buli kintu tweyoleka nga tuli baweereza ba Katonda, mu kugumiikiriza okungi okw’okubonaabona, mu bizibu byonna ebya buli ngeri, ne mu kunyolwa,
but in everything recommending ourselves as God’s servants; in much patience, in tribulations, in necessities, in distresses,
5 ne mu kukubibwa ne mu kusibibwa mu kkomera, ne mu busasamalo, ne mu kutakabana, ne mu kutunula, ne mu kusiiba,
in stripes, in imprisonments, in insurrections, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,
6 ne mu bulongoofu, ne mu kumanya, ne mu bugumiikiriza, ne mu kisa, mu Mwoyo Omutukuvu, ne mu kwagala okutaliimu bukuusa,
in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unhypocritical love,
7 ne mu kigambo eky’amazima, ne mu maanyi ga Katonda olw’ebyokulwanyisa eby’obutuukirivu ebiri mu mukono ogwa ddyo n’ogwa kkono,
in the word of truth, in the power of God, through the armor of righteousness, on the right and on the left,
8 wakati mu kitiibwa n’okunyoomebwa, wakati mu kutufeebya, ne wakati mu kututenda, nga tuyitibwa abalimba ate nga tuli ba mazima.
through glory and dishonor, through evil report and good report, as leading astray, and true;
9 Ensi etusussa amaaso nga b’etemanyi, naye ate nga tumanyiddwa ng’abaafa, naye laba nga tuli balamu, nga tubonerezebwa naye ate nga tetuttibwa,
as unknown, and recognized; as dying, and behold, we live; as disciplined, and not put to death;
10 nga tunakuwala naye ate nga tusanyuka bulijjo, nga tuli ng’abaavu naye nga tugaggawaza bangi, nga tuli ng’abatalina kintu naye ate nga tulina byonna.
as sorrowful, and always rejoicing; as poor, and making many rich; as having nothing, and possessing all things.
11 Twogedde lwatu gye muli Abakkolinso, n’omutima gwaffe gugaziye.
Our mouth has been open to you, O Corinthians, our heart has been enlarged!
12 Musiriikiridde bingi naye ffe tubategeezezza byonna.
You are not restricted in us, and you are restricted in your [own] yearnings,
13 Kaakano njogera nammwe nga bwe nandyogedde n’abaana, temutwekwekerera.
and [as] a repayment of the same kind (as to children I say [it]), be enlarged—also you!
14 Temwegattanga wamu n’abatali bakkiriza, kubanga nkolagana ki eriwo wakati w’obutuukirivu n’obujeemu, oba kutabagana ki okuliwo wakati w’ekitangaala n’ekizikiza?
Do not become yoked with others—unbelievers, for what partaking [is there] to righteousness and lawlessness?
15 Kristo atabagana atya ne Beriyali? Oba mugabo ki omukkiriza gw’alina n’atali mukkiriza?
And what fellowship to light with darkness? And what concord to Christ with Belial? Or what part to a believer with an unbeliever?
16 Yeekaalu ya Katonda ne bakatonda abalala bibeera bitya obumu? Kubanga ffenna tuli Yeekaalu ya Katonda omulamu. Nga Katonda bwe yagamba nti, “Nnaabeeranga mu bo era natambuliranga mu bo, nnaabeeranga Katonda waabwe, nabo banaabeeranga bantu bange.”
And what agreement to the temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, according as God said, “I will dwell in them, and will walk among [them], and I will be their God, and they will be My people,
17 Noolwekyo “muve wakati mu bo, mubeeyawuleko, bw’ayogera Mukama. Temukwata ku bitali birongoofu, nange nnaabaaniriza.”
for this reason, come forth out of the midst of them, and be separated, says the LORD, and do not touch an unclean thing, and I will receive you,
18 Era “nnaabeeranga Kitammwe, nammwe ne mubeeranga batabani bange ne bawala bange,” bw’ayogera Mukama Ayinzabyonna.
and I will be for a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the LORD Almighty.”
