1 Abooluganda, mbajjukiza Enjiri gye nababuulira era gye mwakkiriza era gye munywereddemu.
Brethren as pertayninge to the gospell which I preached vnto you which ye have also accepted and in the which ye continue
2 Mulokolebwa lwa Njiri eyo gye nababuulira, bwe muginywererako, naye bwe kitaba bwe kityo muba mwakkiririza bwereere.
by which also ye are saved: I do you to wit after what maner I preached vnto you yf ye kepe it except ye have beleved in vayne.
3 Kubanga nabategeeza ekigambo ekikulu ennyo nange kye nnaweebwa ekigamba nti Kristo yafa olw’ebibi byaffe, ng’Ebyawandiikibwa bwe bigamba,
For fyrst of all I delivered vnto you that which I receaved: how that Christ dyed for oure synnes agreinge to the scriptures:
4 era nti yaziikibwa, n’azuukizibwa ku lunaku olwokusatu ng’Ebyawandiikibwa bwe bigamba,
and that he was buried and that he arose agayne the thyrd daye accordinge to the scriptures:
5 era nti yalabibwa Keefa n’oluvannyuma ekkumi n’ababiri.
and that he he was sene of Cephas then of the twelve.
6 Era yalabibwa abooluganda abasukka ebikumi ebitaano omulundi gumu era abamu ku abo bakyali balamu newaakubadde ng’abalala baafa.
After that he was sene of moo the five hodred brethren at once: of which many remayne vnto this daye and many are fallen aslepe.
7 Olwo n’alyoka alabikira Yakobo, n’oluvannyuma n’alabikira n’abatume bonna.
After that appered he to Iames then to all the Apostles.
8 Oluvannyuma lwa bonna n’alyoka alabikira nange, ng’omwana azaalibbwa nga musowole.
And last of all he was sene of me as of one that was borne out of due tyme.
9 Kubanga nze nsembayo mu batume, Era sisaanira na kuyitibwa mutume, kubanga nayigganya Ekkanisa ya Katonda.
For I am the lest of all the Apostles which am not worthy to be called an Apostle because I persecuted the congregacion of God.
10 Naye olw’ekisa kya Katonda ndi nga bwe ndi kaakano, era ekisa Katonda kye yankwatirwa tekyafa bwereere. Kubanga nakola nnyo okusinga abalala bonna, naye si nze nakola wabula ekisa kya Katonda ekiri nange kye kyakola.
But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me was not in vayne: but I labored moare aboundauntly then they all not I but the grace of God which is with me.
11 Oba nze oba bo, be baakola ennyo ekyo si kikulu, ekikulu kye kino nti twababuulira Enjiri era nammwe ne mugikkiriza.
Whether it were I or they so we preache and so have ye beleved.
12 Kale obanga abantu bategeezebwa nti Kristo yazuukizibwa mu bafu lwaki abamu mu mmwe bagamba nti tewali kuzuukira kwa bafu?
If Christ be preached how that he rose fro deeth: how saye some that are amoge you that ther is no resurreccion from deeth?
13 Kale obanga tewali kuzuukira kwa bafu ne Kristo teyazuukizibwa.
If ther be no rysynge agayne from deeth: then is Christ not rysen.
14 Era obanga Kristo teyazuukizibwa, bye tubategeeza tebiriimu, era n’okukkiriza kwammwe tekuliiko kye kugasa.
If Christ be not rysen then is oure preachinge vayne and youre faith is also in vayne.
15 Ate era tuba ng’aboogera eby’obulimba ku Katonda, kubanga twakakasa nti Katonda yazuukiza Kristo. Naye teyamuzuukiza bwe kiba ng’abafu tebazuukizibwa.
Ye and we are founde falce witnesses of God. For we have testifyed of God how that he raysyd vp Christ whom he raysyd not vp yf it be so that the deed ryse not vp agayne.
16 Kale obanga abafu tebazuukizibwa, ne Kristo teyazuukizibwa.
For yf the deed ryse not agayne then is Christ not rysen agayne.
17 Era obanga Kristo teyazuukizibwa okukkiriza kwammwe tekuliimu nsa, era mukyali mu bibi byammwe.
If it be so yt Christ rose not then is youre fayth in vayne and yet are ye in youre synnes.
18 Era n’abo abaafa nga bakkiriza Kristo baazikirira.
And therto they which are fallen a slepe in Christ are perished.
19 Kale obanga essuubi lyaffe mu Kristo likoma mu bulamu buno bwokka, tuli bakusaasirwa nnyo okusinga abantu bonna.
If in this lyfe only we beleve on christ then are we of all men the miserablest.
20 Kyokka ddala Kristo yazuukizibwa mu bafu, era bye bibala ebibereberye eby’abo abaafa.
But now is Christ rysen from deeth and is become the fyrst frutes of them that slept.
21 Kuba ng’okufa bwe kwaleetebwa omuntu, era n’okuzuukira kw’abafu kwaleetebwa muntu.
For by a man came deeth and by a man came resurreccion fro deeth.
22 Kuba ng’abantu bonna bwe baafa olwa Adamu, era bwe batyo bonna balifuulibwa abalamu olwa Kristo.
For as by Adam all dye: eve so by Christ shall all be made alive
23 Kyokka buli omu mu luwalo lwe, Kristo ye yasooka era bw’alijja ababe ne baddako,
and every man in his awne order. The fyrst is Christ then they yt are Christis at his commynge.
24 olwo enkomerero n’eryoka etuuka, Kristo n’akwasa Katonda Kitaawe obwakabaka; Kristo ng’amaze okuzikiriza obufuzi bwonna, n’obuyinza bwonna era n’amaanyi gonna.
Then cometh the ende when he hath delivered vp ye kyngdome to God ye father when he hath put doune all rule auctorite and power.
25 Kubanga Kristo agwanidde okufuga okutuusa bw’alissa abalabe be bonna wansi w’ebigere bye.
For he must raygne tyll he have put all his enemyes vnder his fete.
26 Omulabe we alisembayo okuzikirizibwa kwe Kufa.
The last enemye that shalbe destroyed is deeth.
27 Kubanga yassa ebintu byonna wansi w’ebigere bye. Naye bw’agamba nti ebintu byonna biri wansi we, kitegeeza nti aggyeko oli ey’amusobozesa okufuga ebintu byonna.
For he hath put all thinges vnder his fete. But when he sayth all thinges are put vnder him it is manyfest that he is excepted which dyd put all thinges vnder him.
28 Katonda bw’alimala okussa byonna mu buyinza bwa Kristo, olwo Kristo yennyini, Omwana we, n’alyoka afugibwa Katonda eyamuwa okufuga byonna. Era olwo Katonda n’alyoka afugira ddala byonna.
When all thinges are subdued vnto him: then shall the sonne also him selfe be subiecte vnto him that put all thinges vnder him yt God maye be all in all thinges.
29 Kale obanga abafu tebazuukizibwa, abo ababatizibwa ku lw’abafu balikola batya? Era kale lwaki babatizibwa ku lwabwe?
Ether els what do they which are baptised over ye deed yf the deed ryse not at all? Why are they then baptised over the deed?
30 Era ffe lwaki tuli mu kabi buli kaseera?
Ye and why stonde we in ieoperdy every houre?
31 Abooluganda, olw’okwenyumiriza kwe munninamu, era kwe nnina mu Kristo Yesu Mukama waffe, nkakasa nti nfa buli lunaku.
By oure reioysinge which I have in Christ Iesu oure Lorde I dye dayly.
32 Kale obanga nze omuntu obuntu nalwana n’ensolo enkambwe mu Efeso, kingasa ki? Obanga abafu tebazuukizibwa, “Kale tulye tunywe kubanga enkya tuli ba kufa.”
That I have fought with beastes at Ephesus after the maner of men what avautageth it me yf the deed ryse not agayne? Let vs eate and drynke to morowe we shall dye.
33 Temulimbibwalimbibwanga, kubanga “emikwano emibi gyonoona empisa ennungi.”
Be not deceaved: malicious speakinges corrupte good maners.
34 Mweddemu, mutambulirenga mu butuukirivu mulekeraawo okukola ebibi, kubanga abamu mu mmwe tebamanyi Katonda. Kino nkyogera kubakwasa nsonyi.
Awake truely out of slepe and synne not. For some have not the knowlege of God. I speake this vnto youre rebuke.
35 Naye omuntu ayinza okubuuza nti, “Abafu bazuukizibwa batya?” Era nti, mubiri gwa ngeri ki gwe bajja nagwo?
But some ma will saye: how aryse ye deed? with what bodyes come they in?
36 Musirusiru ggwe! Ensigo gy’osiga temeruka nga tennafa.
Thou fole that which thou sowest is not quickened except it dye.
37 Era ensigo eyo gy’osiga eba mpeke buweke; so si ekirivaamu oba ya ŋŋaano, oba ya ngeri ndala.
And what sowest thow? Thow sowest not that body that shalbe: but bare corne (I meane ether of wheet or of some other)
38 Naye Katonda agiwa omubiri nga bw’ayagala, era buli ngeri ya nsigo agiwa omubiri gwayo.
and God geveth it a body at his pleasure to every seed a severall body.
39 Kubanga emibiri gyonna tegiba gya ngeri emu. Waliwo omubiri ogw’abantu, waliwo ogw’ensolo, waliwo ogw’ennyonyi, era waliwo n’ogw’ebyennyanja.
All flesshe is not one manner of flesshe: but ther is one maner flesshe of men another maner flesshe of beastes another maner flesshe of fysshes and another of byrdes.
40 Noolwekyo waliwo emibiri egy’omu ggulu, n’emibiri egy’omu nsi. Naye ekitiibwa ky’emibiri egy’omu ggulu kirala, era n’eky’egy’omu nsi kirala.
Ther are celestiall bodyes and ther are bodyes terrestriall. But ye glory of ye celestiall is one and ye glory of the terrestriall is another.
41 Waliwo ekitiibwa ky’enjuba, waliwo eky’omwezi, era waliwo ekitiibwa eky’emmunyeenye. Naye era n’emmunyeenye tezenkanankana mu kwaka kubanga buli munyeenye ya njawulo mu kwaka.
Ther is one maner glory of the sonne and another glory of the mone and another glory of the starres. For one starre differth fro another in glory.
42 Era bwe kiri mu kuzuukira. Omubiri guziikibwa nga gwa kuvunda, ne guzuukizibwa nga si gwa kuvunda.
So is the resurreccio of ye deed. It is sowe in corrupcio and ryseth in incorrupcion.
43 Guziikibwa nga si gwa kitiibwa, naye ne guzuukizibwa nga gujjudde ekitiibwa. Guziikibwa nga munafu, naye guzuukizibwa nga gwa maanyi.
It is sowen in dishonoure and ryseth in honoure. It is sowe in weaknes and ryseth in power. It is sowne a naturall body and ryseth a spretuall body.
44 Guziikibwa nga mubiri bubiri, naye guzuukizibwa nga mubiri gwa mwoyo. Kale obanga waliwo omubiri obubiri, era waliwo omubiri ogw’omwoyo,
Ther is a naturall bodye and ther is a spretuall body:
45 kyekyava kiwandiikibwa nti, “Adamu, omuntu eyasooka, yatondebwa ng’alina obulamu.” Kyokka Adamu ow’oluvannyuma ye Mwoyo aleeta obulamu.
as it is written: the fyrste man Adam was made a livinge soule: and ye last Ada was made a quickeninge sprete.
46 Naye eky’omwoyo si kye kyasooka, wabula eky’omubiri obubiri kye kyasooka, n’oluvannyuma eky’omwoyo ne kijja.
How be it yt is not fyrst which is spirituall: but yt which is naturall and then yt which is spretuall.
47 Omuntu eyasooka yava mu ttaka, yakolebwa mu nfuufu. Ye omuntu owookubiri yava mu ggulu.
The fyrst ma is of the erth erthy: the seconde man is ye Lorde fro heave.
48 Ng’eyakolebwa mu nfuufu bw’ali, n’abo abaakolebwa mu nfuufu bwe bali.
As is the erthy soche are they that are erthye. And as is the hevely soche are they yt are hevenly.
49 Era nga bwe tufaanana oyo eyakolebwa mu nfuufu, era bwe tutyo bwe tulifaanana oyo eyava mu ggulu.
And as we have borne the ymage of the erthy so shall we beare the ymage of the hevenly.
50 Abooluganda, kye ŋŋamba kye kino nti omubiri guno ogw’oku nsi, ogw’ennyama n’omusaayi, teguyinza kusikira bwakabaka bwa Katonda. Emibiri gyaffe egivunda tegisobola kuba gya lubeerera.
This saye I brethren that flesshe and bloud canot inheret the kyngdome of God. Nether corrupcion inhereth vncorrupcion.
51 Naye leka mbabuulire ekyama: Si ffenna abalifa, naye eŋŋombe ey’enkomerero bw’erivuga ffenna tulifuusibwa
Beholde I shewe you a mystery. We shall not all slepe: but we shall all be chaunged
52 mu kaseera katono ng’okutemya kikowe. Kubanga eŋŋombe erivuga, n’abafu balizuukizibwa, nga tebakyaddayo kufa era ffenna tulifuusibwa.
and that in a moment and in the twinclinge of an eye at the sounde of the last trompe. For the trompe shall blowe and ye deed shall ryse incorruptible and we shalbe chaunged.
53 Kubanga omubiri guno oguvunda gwa kufuuka ogutavunda, era omubiri guno ogufa gwa kufuuka ogutafa.
For this corruptible must put on incorruptibilite: and this mortall must put on immortalite.
54 Omubiri guno oguvunda bwe gulifuuka ogutavunda, ogufa ne gufuuka ogutafa, olwo Ekyawandiikibwa ne kiryoka kituukirira ekigamba nti, “Okufa kuwanguddwa.”
When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibilite and this mortall hath put on immortalite: then shalbe brought to passe ye sayinge yt is writte. Deeth is consumed in to victory.
55 “Ggwe kufa, obuwanguzi bwo buluwa? Ggwe kufa, amaanyi go agalumya galuwa?” (Hadēs )
Deeth where is thy stynge? Hell where is thy victory? (Hadēs )
56 Obuyinza obulumya buva mu kibi, n’amaanyi g’ekibi gava mu mateeka.
The stynge of deeth is synne: and the strength of synne is the lawe.
57 Kyokka Katonda yeebazibwe atuwanguza ffe ku bwa Mukama waffe Yesu Kristo.
But thankes be vnto God which hath geven vs victory thorow oure Lorde Iesus Christ.
58 Noolwekyo, baganda bange abaagalwa, mubenga banywevu era abatasagaasagana nga mweyongeranga bulijjo okukola omulimu gwa Mukama waffe, kubanga mumanyi nti okufuba kwammwe si kwa bwereere mu Mukama waffe.
Therfore my deare brethren be ye stedfast and unmovable alwayes ryche in the workes of the Lorde for as moch as ye knowe how yt youre labour is not in vayne in the Lorde.
