1 Benyamini n’azaala Bera, era oyo ye yali omubereberye, Asuberi nga ye wookubiri, Akala nga ye wookusatu;
And, Benjamin, begat Bela his firstborn, —Ashbel, the second, and Aharah, the third, —
2 Noka nga wakuna, ne Lafa nga ye wookutaano.
Nohah, the fourth, and Rapha, the fifth.
3 Batabani ba Bera baali Addali, ne Gera, ne Abikudi,
And Bela had sons—Addar, and Gera, and Abihud, —
4 ne Abisuwa, ne Naamani, ne Akowa
and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah, —
5 ne Gera, ne Sefufani ne Kulamu.
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

And, Shaharaim, begat children in the field of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
9 Kodesi yamuzaalira Yokabu, ne Zibiya, ne Mesa, ne Malukamu,
Then begat he, of Hodesh his wife, —Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;
10 ne Yewuzi, ne Sakiya, ne Miruma, era bano be baali abakulu b’enda za bajjajjaabwe.
and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah, —these, were his sons, ancestral chiefs.
11 Kusimu yamuzaalira Abitubu ne Erupaali.
And, of Hushim, he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Batabani ba Erupaali baali Eberi, ne Misamu, ne Semedi, eyazimba Ono ne Loodi n’ebibuga ebibyetoolodde,
And, the sons of Elpaal, Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, —he, built Ono, and Lod, and the villages thereof.
13 Beriya, ne Sema abakulu b’enda z’abo abaabeeranga e Ayalooni, era be baagoba abaabeeranga mu Gaasi.
And, as for Beriah and Shema, they, were ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Aijalon, —they, put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14 Abaana abalala baali Akiyo, ne Sasaki, ne Yeremosi,
and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, —
15 ne Zebadiya, ne Aladi, ne Ederi
and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder, —
16 ne Mikayiri, ne Isupa, ne Yoka,
and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah, —
17 ne Zebadiya, ne Mesullamu, ne Kizuki, ne Keberi,
and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber, —
18 ne Isumerayi, ne Izuliya, ne Yobabu.
and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal, —
19 Batabani ba Simeeyi baali Yakimu, ne Zikuli, ne Zabudi,
and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi—
20 ne Eryenayi, ne Ziresayi, ne Eryeri,
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel, —
21 ne Adaaya, ne Beraya, ne Simulasi.
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei, —

and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak, —
26 Batabani ba Yerokamu baali Samuserayi, ne Sekaliya, ne Asaliya,
and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah, —
27 ne Yaalesiya, ne Eriya, ne Zikuli.
and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham:
28 Bano wammanga be baali abakulu b’enda, abaami, nga bwe bayogerwako mu nnyiriri zaabwe, era baabeeranga mu Yerusaalemi.
these, were ancestral chiefs to their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem;
29 Yeyeri omukulembeze we Gibyoni yabeeranga Gibyoni, ne mukyala we ye yali Maaka.
And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon [Jeiel], the name of whose wife, was Maacah, —
30 Mutabani we omuggulanda yali Abudoni, ne Zuuli n’amuddirira, ne Kiisi n’amuddako, ne Baali, ne Nadabu,
and his firstborn son, Abdon, and Zur and Kish, and Baal and Ner and Nadab, —
31 ne Gedoli, ne Akiyo, ne Zekeeri
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.
32 ne Mikuloosi n’azaala Simeeyi. Nabo baabeeranga kumpi ne baganda baabwe mu Yerusaalemi.
And, Mikloth, begat Shimeah, —moreover also, they, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, with their own brethren.
33 Neeri n’azaala Kiisi, ne Kiisi n’azaala Sawulo, ne Sawulo n’azaala Yonasaani, ne Malukisuwa, ne Abinadaabu ne Esubaali.
So then, Ner, begat Kish, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Mutabani wa Yonasaani yali Meribubaali, ye Mefibosesi, eyazaala Mikka.
And, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah.
35 Batabani ba Mikka baali Pisoni, ne Mereki, ne Taleya ne Akazi.
And, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Akazi n’azaala Yekoyaada, Yekoyaada n’azaala Alemesi, ne Azumavesi, ne Zimuli, ne Zimuli n’azaala Moza.
And, Ahaz, begat Jehoaddah, and, Jehoaddah, begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and, Zimri, begat Moza;
37 Moza n’azaala Bineya, Bineya n’azaala Lafa, ne Ereyaasa ne Azeri.
and, Moza, begat Binea, —Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Azeri yazaala abaana aboobulenzi mukaaga, nga be ba Azulikamu, ne Bokeru, ne Isimayiri, ne Seyaliya, ne Obadiya ne Kanani.
And, Azel, had six sons, and, these, were their names—Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obediah, and Hanan and Asah, —all these, were sons of Azel.
39 Batabani ba muganda we Eseki baali Ulamu omubereberye, ne Yewusi nga ye owookubiri ne Erifereti nga ye wookusatu.
And, the sons of Eshek his brother, were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Batabani ba Ulamu baali basajja bazira era nga b’amaanyi, nga balasi ba busaale, nga n’abaana n’abazzukulu bangi ddala. Bonna awamu baali kikumi mu ataano. Abo bonna baali bazzukulu ba Benyamini.
And the sons of Ulam became men that were heroes of valour, archers, with many sons, and sons’ sons, a hundred and fifty. All these, were of the sons of Benjamin.
