1 Ebibinja by’Abaggazi byali: Mu Bakola, waaliyo Meseremiya mutabani wa Kole, omu ku batabani ba Asafu.
For the courses of the doorkeepers: of the Korahites; Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Meseremiya yalina abaana aboobulenzi nga Zekkaliya ye w’olubereberye, ne Yediyayeri nga wakubiri, ne Zebadiya nga wakusatu, ne Yasuniyeri nga wakuna,
And Meshelemiah had sons; Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
3 ne Eramu nga wakutaano, ne Yekokanani nga wamukaaga, ne Eriwenayi nga wa musanvu.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Obededomu naye yalina abaana aboobulenzi nga Semaaya ye w’olubereberye, ne Yekozabadi nga wakubiri, ne Yowa nga wakusatu, ne Sakali nga wakuna, ne Nesaneeri nga wakutaano,
And Obed-edom had sons; Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
5 ne Ammiyeri nga wamukaaga, ne Isakaali nga wa musanvu, Pewulesayi nga wa munaana, Katonda gwe yawa omukisa.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 Mutabani we Semaaya naye yalina abaana aboobulenzi, abaali abakulembeze mu nnyumba ya kitaabwe kubanga baali basajja bazira.
Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled over the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7 Batabani ba Semaaya baali Osuni, ne Lefayeri, ne Obedi ne Eruzabadi, ne baganda baabwe abaayitibwanga Eriku ne Semakiya nabo baali basajja bakozi.
The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Abo bonna baali bazzukulu ba Obededomu, era bonna awamu ne batabani baabwe n’ab’eŋŋanda zaabwe abalala baali basajja bajjumbize, ate nga bakozi ab’amaanyi olw’omulimu ogwo. Bonna awamu baali nkaaga mu babiri.
All these were of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service; threescore and two of Obed-edom.
9 Meseremiya naye yalina abaana aboobulenzi, n’ab’eŋŋanda ze bonna awamu abasajja abakozi, kkumi na munaana.
And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
10 Kosa, omu ku bazzukulu ba Merali yalina abaana aboobulenzi nga Simuli ye mukulu, newaakubadde nga si ye yali omubereberye kitaawe yali amufudde omukulu;
Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Shimri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief; )
11 Kirukiya nga wakubiri, ne Tebaliya nga wakusatu, ne Zekkaliya nga wakuna. Batabani ba Kosa n’ab’eŋŋanda be bonna awamu baali kkumi na basatu.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 Ebibinja bino eby’abagazi, omwali abakulu b’ebyalo, baalina obuvunaanyizibwa okuweereza mu yeekaalu ya Mukama, ng’Abaleevi abalala bonna.
Of these were the courses of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having charges like as their brethren, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 Ne bakubira obululu, buli nnyumba, abato n’abakulu, ng’emiryango bwe gyali.
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to their fathers’ houses, for every gate.
14 Akalulu ak’Omulyango ogw’Ebuvanjuba ne kagwa ku Seremiya. Ate akalulu ak’Omulyango ogw’Obukiikakkono, ne kagwa ku Zekkaliya mutabani we, era omuteesa ow’amagezi.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 Akalulu ak’Omulyango ogw’Obukiikaddyo kagwa ku Obededomu, ate ak’eggwanika ne kagwa ku batabani be.
To Obed-edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse.
16 Akalulu ak’Omulyango ogw’Ebugwanjuba n’Omulyango Salekesi awaali olutindo okwambuka, ne kagwa ku Suppima ne Kosa. Abakuumi baali boolekera bakuumi bannaabwe.
To Shuppim and Hosah westward, by the gate of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goeth up, ward against ward.
17 Ku luuyi olw’ebuvanjuba waaliyo Abaleevi mukaaga, olunaku, ne ku luuyi olw’obukiikakkono waaliyo bana olunaku ne ku luuyi olw’obukiikaddyo waaliyo bana olunaku, ne ku ggwanika babiri babiri.
Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the storehouse two and two.
18 Ku luuyi olw’ebugwanjuba olw’oluggya waaliyo bana, ne mu Luggya lwennyini waaliyo babiri.
For Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19 Eyo ye yali engabanya ey’abagazi abaali bazzukulu ba Kola ne Merali.
These were the courses of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Ku Baleevi, Akiya ye yali omukulu w’amawanika g’ennyumba ya Katonda, era n’amawanika g’ebintu ebyawongebwa.
And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the dedicated things.
21 Bazzukulu ba Ladani, abaali bazzukulu b’Abagerusoni mu Ladani, abaali abakulu b’ennyumba za bakitaabwe nga be ba Yekyeri,
The sons of Ladan; the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers’ [houses] belonging to Ladan the Gershonite; Jehieli.
22 batabani ba Yekyeri, ne Zesamu, ne Yoweeri muganda we, be baavunaanyizibwanga amawanika ga yeekaalu ya Mukama.
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasuries of the house of the LORD.
23 Ku Bamulaamu, ne ku Bayizukaali, ne ku Bakebbulooni, ne ku Bawuziyeeri:
Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:
24 Sebweri muzzukulu wa Gerusomu, mutabani wa Musa, ye yali omuwanika omukulu.
and Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasuries.
25 Baganda be okuva ku Eryeza nga be ba Lekabiya, ne Yesaya, ne Yolaamu, ne Zikuli ne Seromosi, bonna nga batabani be.
And his brethren; of Eliezer [came] Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Seromosi ne baganda be, be baali abawanika b’ebintu byonna ebyawongebwa Dawudi kabaka, n’abakulu b’ennyumba, n’abaali abaduumizi b’olukumi, n’abaduumizi b’ekikumi, n’abaduumizi abalala.
This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the fathers’ [houses], the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 Ebimu ku byanyagibwa mu ntalo babiwonga, ne babiwaayo okuddaabiriza yeekaalu ya Mukama.
Out of the spoil won in battles did they dedicate to repair the house of the LORD.
28 Ne byonna ebyawongebwa Samwiri nnabbi, ne Sawulo mutabani wa Kiisi, ne Abuneeri mutabani wa Neeri, ne Yowaabu mutabani wa Zeruyiya byavunaanyizibwanga Seromisi n’ab’eŋŋanda ze.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomoth, and of his brethren.
29 Ku Bayizukaali, Kenaniya ne batabani be baaweebwa obuvunaanyizibwa ebweru wa yeekaalu, okuba abakungu era abalamuzi okufuganga Isirayiri.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Ku Bakebbulooni, Kasabiya n’ab’eŋŋanda ze abasajja abazira, lukumi mu lusanvu, baavunaanyizibwanga omulimu gwonna gwa Mukama, n’okuweereza kabaka, ku luuyi olw’ebugwanjuba emitala wa Yoludaani mu Isirayiri.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel beyond Jordan westward; for all the business of the LORD, and for the service of the king.
31 Mu Bakebbulooni, Yeriya ye yali omukulu, okusinziira ku byafaayo eby’okuzaalibwa okw’ennyumba zaabwe. Mu mwaka ogw’amakumi ana Dawudi nga ye kabaka, ne waba okunoonyereza mu byafaayo, era ne mulabika mu Yazeri eky’e Gireyaadi abasajja abazira ng’Abakebbulooni.
Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ [houses]. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32 Yeriya yalina abasajja abazira era nga mitwe gy’ennyumba zaabwe, enkumi bbiri mu lusanvu, era kabaka Dawudi n’amufuula mulabirizi wa Balewubeeni, n’Abagaadi, n’ekitundu ky’ekika eky’Abamanase, olwa buli kigambo kya Katonda, n’olw’ebigambo bya kabaka.
And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, heads of fathers’ [houses], whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.
