मत्ती 3
1 उन दिनो म यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देन वालो यहूदिया को सुनसान जागा म आय क यो प्रचार करन लग्यो:
In then the days those comes John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea
2 “पापों सी मन फिरावो, कहालीकि स्वर्ग को राज्य जवर आय गयो हय।”
and saying; do repent; has drawn near for the kingdom of the heavens.
3 यो उच आय जेकी चर्चा यशायाह भविष्यवक्ता को द्वारा करी गयी: “जंगल म एक पुकारन वालो को आवाज होय रह्यो हय, कि प्रभु को रस्ता तैयार करो, अऊर ओकी सड़के सीधी करो।”
This for is the [One] having been spoken of (through *N(k)O*) Isaiah the prophet saying; [The] voice of one crying in the wilderness do prepare the way of [the] Lord, straight do make the paths of Him.
4 यूहन्ना ऊंट को बाल को कपड़ा पहिन्यो होतो अऊर कमर म चमड़ा को पट्टा बान्ध्यो हुयो होतो। ओको जेवन टिड्डियां अऊर जंगली शहेद होतो।
Himself now John was having the garment of him of hair of a camel and a belt of leather around the waist of him; and [the] food was of him locusts and honey wild.
5 तब यरूशलेम, अऊर पूरो यहूदिया क्षेत्र, अऊर यरदन को आजु-बाजू को गांव म रहन वालो सब लोग निकल क ओको जवर आयो,
At that time were going out to him Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region around the Jordan,
6 उन्न अपनो अपनो पापों को पश्चाताप कर क् यरदन नदी म ओको सी बपतिस्मा लियो।
and were being baptized in the Jordan (River *no*) by him confessing the sins of them.
7 पर जब ओन अपनो जवर बहुत सो फरीसियों अऊर सदूकियों ख बपतिस्मा लेन लायी आवतो देख्यो, त ओन कह्यो, “हे सांप को पिल्ला, तुम्ख कौन न जताय दियो कि आवन वालो गुस्सा सी भगो?
Having seen now many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to the baptism of him he said to them; Brood of vipers, who forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath?
8 येकोलायी पापों सी मन फिराव की लायक फर लावो;
do produce therefore (fruit worthy *N(k)O*) of repentance.
9 अऊर अपनो अपनो मन म यो मत सोचो कि हमरो बाप अब्राहम आय; कहालीकि मय तुम सी सच कहू हय कि परमेश्वर इन गोटा सी अब्राहम लायी सन्तान पैदा कर सकय हय।”
And not may you presume to say within yourselves; [As] father we have Abraham; I say for to you that able is God out of stones these to raise up children to Abraham.
10 टंग्या झाड़ों की जड़ी पर रखी हुयी हय, येकोलायी जो जो झाड़ अच्छो फर नहीं लावय, ऊ काट्यो अऊर आगी म झोक्यो जावय हय।
Already now (and *k*) the ax to the root of the trees is applied. every therefore tree not producing fruit good is cut down and into [the] fire is thrown.
11 “मय त पानी सी तुम्ख मन फिराव को बपतिस्मा देऊ हय; पर जो मोरो बाद आवन वालो हय; ऊ मोरो सी ताकतवर हय; कि मय ओको पाय कि चप्पल उठावन को लायक नहाय। ऊ तुम्ख पवित्र आत्मा अऊर आगी सी बपतिस्मा देयेंन।
I myself indeed you baptize with water to repentance, however after me is coming mightier than I He is of whom not I am fit the sandals to carry; He himself you will baptize with [the] Spirit Holy and with fire;
12 ओको सूपा ओको हाथ म हय, अऊर ऊ अपनो खरियान अच्छो तरह सी साफ करेंन, अऊर अपनो गहूं ख त ढोला म जमा करेंन, पर भूसा ख ऊ आगी म जलायेंन जो बुझन की नहीं।”
whose winnowing fork [is] in the hand of Him, and He will clear the threshing floor of Him and will gather the wheat of Him into the barn (of him *o*) the but chaff He will burn up with fire unquenchable.
13 ऊ समय यीशु गलील प्रदेश सी यरदन नदी को किनार पर यूहन्ना को जवर ओको सी बपतिस्मा लेन आयो।
Then comes Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John to be baptized by him.
14 पर यूहन्ना यो कह्य क ओख रोकन लग्यो, “मोख त तोरो हाथ सी बपतिस्मा लेन कि जरूरत हय, अऊर तय मोरो जवर आयो हय?”
But John was hindering Him saying; I myself need have by You to be baptized, and You yourself come to me?
15 पर यीशु न ओख यो उत्तर दियो, “अब त असोच होन दे, कहालीकि हम्ख यो रीति सी सब सच्चायी ख पूरो करनो ठीक हय।” तब ओन ओकी बात मान ली।
Answering however Jesus said unto (him; *NK(o)*) do permit [it] now; thus for fitting it is to us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he permits Him.
16 अऊर यीशु बपतिस्मा ले क तुरतच पानी सी ऊपर आयो, अऊर उच समय ओको लायी स्वर्ग खुल गयो, अऊर ओन परमेश्वर को आत्मा ख कबूत्तर को जसो उतरतो अऊर अपनो ऊपर आवतो देख्यो।
(and *k*) Having been baptized (now *no*) Jesus immediately went up from the water. and behold were opened to Him the heavens, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and alighting upon Him.
17 अऊर, स्वर्ग सी या आकाशवानी भयी: “यो मोरो प्रिय बेटा आय, जेकोसी मय बहुत सन्तुष्ट हय।”
And behold a voice out of the heavens saying; This is the Son of Mine the beloved in whom I was well pleased.
