मत्ती 14
1 ऊ समय देश को चौथाई भाग को राजा हेरोदेस न यीशु की चर्चा सुनी,
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus
2 अऊर अपनो सेवकों सी कह्यो, “यो यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देन वालो आय! ऊ मरयो हुयो म सी फिर सी जीन्दो भयो हय, येकोलायी ओको सी यो सामर्थ को काम प्रगट होवय हंय।”
and said to his servants, “This man is John the Baptist; he has been raised from the dead, and that is why these mighty powers are at work in him.”
3 कहालीकि हेरोदेस न अपनो भाऊ फिलिप्पुस की पत्नी हेरोदियास को वजह, यूहन्ना ख पकड़ क बान्ध्यो अऊर जेलखाना म डाल दियो होतो।
For Herod had arrested John, bound him, and put him in prison on account of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
4 कहालीकि यूहन्ना न ओको सी कह्यो होतो कि येख रखनो तोरो लायी उचित नहाय।
For John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for yoʋ to have her.”
5 येकोलायी ऊ ओख मार डालनो चाहत होतो, पर लोगों सी डरत होतो कहालीकि हि ओख भविष्यवक्ता मानत होतो।
Although Herod wanted to kill John, he was afraid of the crowd, because they regarded John as a prophet.
6 पर जब हेरोदेस को जनम दिन आयो, त हेरोदियास की बेटी न उत्सव म नाच दिखाय क हेरोदेस ख खुश करयो।
But when Herod's birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before the guests and pleased Herod.
7 येको पर ओन कसम खाय क वचन दियो, “जो कुछ तय मोख मांगजो, मय तोख देऊं।”
So he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.
8 वा अपनी माय ख उकसायो जानो सी बोली, “यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देन वालो को मुंड थारी म यहां मोख मंगाय देवो।”
Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”
9 राजा दु: खी भयो, पर अपनी कसम को, अऊर संग म जेवन करन बैठन वालो को वजह, आज्ञा दियो कि दे दियो जाये।
The king was grieved, but because of his oaths and his guests, he commanded it to be given
10 अऊर ओन जेलखाना म लोगों ख भेज क यूहन्ना को मुंड कटाय दियो;
and sent orders to have John beheaded in prison.
11 अऊर ओको मुंड थारी म लायो अऊर बेटी ख दियो गयो, अऊर ओन अपनी माय को जवर ले गयी।
John's head was then brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.
12 तब यूहन्ना को चेला आयो अऊर ओकी लाश ख लिजाय क गाड़ दियो, अऊर जाय क यीशु ख सुसमाचार दियो।
Later, John's disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and brought word to Jesus.
13 जब यीशु न यूहन्ना को बारे म यो सुन्यो, त ऊ डोंगा पर चढ़ क उत सी कोयी सुनसान जागा को, एकान्त म चली गयो। लोग यो सुन क नगर-नगर सी पैदल चल ख ओको पीछू चली गयो।
When Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But the crowds heard about it and followed him on foot from the towns.
14 ओन निकल क एक बड़ी भीड़ देखी अऊर उन पर तरस खायो, अऊर उन्को बीमारों ख चंगो करयो।
And when Jesus went ashore and saw a large crowd, he was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.
15 जब शाम भयी त ओको चेलावों न ओको जवर आय क कह्यो, “यो सुनसान जागा आय अऊर देर होय रही हय; लोगों ख बिदा करयो जाये कि हि बस्तियों म जाय क अपनो लायी भोजन ले ले।”
As evening approached, his disciples came to him and said, “This place is desolate, and the hour is now late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 पर यीशु न उन्को सी कह्यो, “उन्को जानो जरूरी नहाय! तुमच इन्क खान ख देवो।”
But Jesus said to them, “They have no need to go away; you give them something to eat.”
17 उन्न ओको सी कह्यो, “इत हमरो जवर पाच रोटी अऊर दोय मच्छी ख छोड़ क अऊर कुछ नहाय।”
They said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
18 यीशु न कह्यो, “उन्ख इत मोरो जवर लावो।”
He said, “Bring them here to me.”
19 तब यीशु न लोगों ख घास पर बैठन ख कह्यो, अऊर उन पाच रोटी अऊर दोय मच्छी ख लियो; अऊर स्वर्ग को तरफ देख क धन्यवाद करयो अऊर रोटी तोड़-तोड़ क चेलावों ख दियो, अऊर चेलावों न लोगों ख।
Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said the blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
20 जब सब लोग खाय क सन्तुष्ट भय गयो, त चेलावों न बच्यो हुयो टुकड़ा सी भरी हुयी बारा टोकनियां उठायी।
They all ate and were filled, and the disciples picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.
21 अऊर खान वालो बाईयों अऊर बच्चां ख छोड़ क, पाच हजार आदमियों को लगभग होतो।
Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
22 तब यीशु न तुरतच अपनो चेलावों ख डोंगा पर चढ़न लायी मजबूर करयो कि हि ओको सी पहिले ओन पार चली जाये, जब तक ऊ लोगों ख बिदा करे।
Immediately Jesus compelled the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side of the sea, while he sent the crowds away.
23 ऊ लोगों ख बिदा कर क्, प्रार्थना करन ख अलग पहाड़ी पर चली गयो; अऊर शाम ख ऊ उत अकेलो होतो।
After sending the crowds away, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.
24 ऊ समय डोंगा किनार सी दूर झील को बीच लहरो सी डगमगावत होतो, कहालीकि हवा आगु की होती।
Meanwhile, the boat was already in the middle of the sea, being tossed by the waves, for the wind was against them.
25 अऊर यीशु तीन बजे सी छे बजे को बीच भुन्सारो म झील पर चलतो हुयो उन्को जवर आयो।
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
26 चेला ओख झील पर चलतो हुयो देख क घबराय गयो। अऊर कहन लग्यो, “यो भूत आय!” अऊर डर को मारे चिल्लावन लग्यो।
When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.
27 तब यीशु न तुरतच उन्को सी बाते करी अऊर कह्यो, “हिम्मत रखो! मय आय, डरो मत!”
But Jesus immediately said to them, “Take courage! It is I; do not be afraid.”
28 पतरस न ओख उत्तर दियो, “हे प्रभु, यदि तयच आय, त मोख अपनो जवर पानी पर चल क आवन कि आज्ञा दे।”
In response Peter said to him, “Lord, if it is yoʋ, command me to come to yoʋ on the water.”
29 ओन कह्यो, “आव!” तब पतरस डोंगा पर सी उतर क यीशु को जवर जाय क पानी पर चलन लग्यो।
So he said, “Come.” Then Peter got down from the boat and walked on the water to go to Jesus.
30 पर हवा ख देख क डर गयो, अऊर जब डुबन लग्यो त चिल्लाय क कह्यो, “हे प्रभु, मोख बचाव!”
But when he saw the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 यीशु न तुरतच हाथ बढ़ाय क ओख धर लियो अऊर ओको सी कह्यो, “हे अविश्वासी, तय न कहाली सक करयो?”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “O yoʋ of little faith, why did yoʋ doubt?”
32 जब हि डोंगा पर चढ़ गयो, त हवा रुक गयी।
And when they had gotten into the boat, the wind ceased.
33 येको पर उन्न जो डोंगा पर होतो, ओख दण्डवत प्रनाम कर क् कह्यो, “सचमुच, तय परमेश्वर को बेटा आय।”
Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “Truly yoʋ are the Son of God.”
34 हि झील को ओन पार उतर क गन्नेसरत म पहुंच्यो।
When they had crossed the sea, they came to the land of Gennesaret.
35 उत को लोगों न ओख पहिचान लियो अऊर आजु बाजू को पूरो देश म सुसमाचार भेज्यो, अऊर सब बीमारों ख ओको जवर लायो,
And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word into the entire surrounding region, and people brought to him all who were sick.
36 अऊर ओको सी बिनती करन लग्यो कि ऊ उन्ख अपनो कपड़ा को कोना ख छूवन दे; अऊर जितनो न ओको कपड़ा ख छूयो, हि चंगो भय गयो।
They begged him to let the sick touch even the fringe of his garment, and all who touched it were completely healed.
