प्रेरितों के काम 8
1 शाऊल ओख मारन म सहमत होतो। उन दिन यरूशलेम की मण्डली पर बड़ो छल को सुरूवात भयो अऊर प्रेरितों ख छोड़ पूरो को पूरो यहूदिया अऊर सामरियां देशों म तितर बितर भय गयो।
With these words he fell asleep. And Saul fully approved of his murder. On this very day there broke out a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostle were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.
2 कुछ भक्तो न स्तिफनुस ख कब्र म रख्यो अऊर ओको लायी जोर सी रोयो।
Devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentations over him.
3 शाऊल मण्डली ख उजाड़ रह्यो होतो; अऊर घर-घर घुस क पुरुषों अऊर बाईयों ख घसीट-घसीट क जेलखाना म डालत होतो।
But Saul was laying waste the church. He was wont to enter into every house, and to drag off men and women, and to commit them to prison.
4 जो तितर-बितर हुयो होतो, हि सुसमाचार सुनावतो हुयो फिरयो;
So those who were scattered abroad were going everywhere preaching the word.
5 अऊर फिलिप्पुस सामरियां नगर म जाय क लोगों म मसीह को प्रचार करन लग्यो।
Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and began to preach Christ there.
6 जो बाते फिलिप्पुस न कह्यो उन्ख लोगों न सुन क अऊर जो चिन्ह चमत्कार ऊ दिखावत होतो उन्ख देख देख क, एक चित्त होय क मन लगायो।
The crowd with one accord were giving heed to what he said, when they heard and saw the signs that he did.
7 कहालीकि बहुत सो म सी दुष्ट आत्मायें बड़ो आवाज सी चिल्लावत निकल गयी, अऊर बहुत सो लकवा को रोगी अऊर लंगड़ा भी अच्छो करयो गयो;
For with a loud cry unclean spirits would come out of many possessed by them, and many that were palsied and lame were healed.
8 अऊर ऊ नगर म बड़ी खुशी छाय गयो।
There began to be great joy in that city.
9 येको सी पहिलो ऊ नगर म शिमोन नाम को एक आदमी होतो, जो जादू-टोना कर क् सामरियां को लोगों ख चकित करतो अऊर अपनो आप ख एक महान पुरुष बतावत होतो।
Now for some time a man named Simon had been practising sorcery in that city, and had amazed the people of Samaria. He gave himself out to be some great person.
10 छोटो सी बड़ो तक सब ओको पर ध्यान दे क कहत होतो “यो आदमी परमेश्वर की वा सामर्थ आय, जो महान कहलावय हय।”
Many from all classes would give heed to him, declaring, "This man is the Power of God, known as the Great Power."
11 ओन बहुत दिन सी उन्ख अपनो जादू को कामों सी चकित कर रख्यो होतो, येकोलायी हि ओख बहुत मानत होतो।
They were giving heed to him because, for a long time, he had amazed them with his sorceries.
12 पर जब उन्न फिलिप्पुस को विश्वास करयो जो परमेश्वर को राज्य अऊर यीशु मसीह को नाम को सुसमाचार सुनावत होतो त लोग, का पुरुष, का बाई, बपतिस्मा लेन लग्यो।
But when they believed Philip, who was preaching glad tidings about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they began to be baptized, both men and women.
13 तब शिमोन न खुद भी विश्वास करयो अऊर बपतिस्मा ले क फिलिप्पुस को संग रहन लग्यो। ऊ चिन्ह चमत्कार अऊर बड़ो-बड़ो सामर्थ को काम होतो देख क चकित होत होतो।
And Simon himself also believed, and after his baptism he remained with Philip, and was full of amazement as he beheld the signs and striking miracles which were performed.
14 जब प्रेरितों न जो यरूशलेम म होतो, सुन्यो कि सामरियों न परमेश्वर को वचन मान लियो हय त पतरस अऊर यूहन्ना ख उन्को जवर भेज्यो।
The apostle at Jerusalem, when they heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, sent to them Peter and John.
15 उन्न जाय क उन्को लायी प्रार्थना करी कि पवित्र आत्मा पाये।
Who came down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16 कहालीकि ऊ अब तक उन्म सी कोयी पर नहीं उतरयो होतो; उन्न त केवल प्रभु यीशु को नाम म बपतिस्मा लियो होतो।
For he had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 तब उन्न उन पर हाथ रख्यो अऊर उन्न पवित्र आत्मा पायो।
Then the apostles laid their hands upon them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18 जब शिमोन न देख्यो कि प्रेरितों को हाथ रखन सी पवित्र आत्मा दियो जावय हय, त उन्को जवर रुपये लाय क कह्यो,
But when Simon perceived that, by the laying on of the apostles’ hands, the Spirit was given, he offered them money saying,
19 “यो अधिकार मोख भी दे, कि जो कोयी पर हाथ रखू ऊ पवित्र आत्मा पाये।”
"Give me, too, this power, so that on whomever I lay my hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit."
20 पतरस न ओको सी कह्यो, “तोरो रुपये तोरो संग नाश होय, कहालीकि तय न परमेश्वर को दान रुपयों सी मोल लेन को बिचार करयो।
But Peter said to him. "Your money perish with you, because you have supposed that with money you can obtain God’s free gift!"
21 या बात म नहीं तोरो हिस्सा हय, नहीं भाग हय; कहालीकि तोरो मन परमेश्वर को आगु सही नहाय।
"You have no part or lot in this matter." Your heart is not right in the sight of God.
22 येकोलायी अपनी यो बुरायी सी मन फिराय क प्रभु सी प्रार्थना कर, होय सकय हय कि तोरो मन को बिचार माफ करयो जाये।
Repent then of this your wickedness, and beseech the Lord to forgive you this purpose of your heart.
23 कहालीकि मय देखू हय कि तय पित्त जसी कड़वाहट अऊर पाप को बन्धन म पड़्यो हय।”
"For I perceive that you still stand in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of unrighteousness."
24 शिमोन न उत्तर दियो “तुम मोरो लायी प्रभु सी प्रार्थना करो कि जो बाते तुम न कहीं, उन्म सी कोयी मोर पर नहीं आय पड़े।”
And Simon answered, "Pray to the Lord for me, both of you, that nothing which you have said may happen to me."
25 येकोलायी हि गवाही दे क अऊर प्रभु को वचन सुनाय क यरूशलेम ख लौट गयो, अऊर सामरियों को बहुत सो गांवो म सुसमाचार सुनावतो गयो।
So the apostles, after bearing solemn witness, and declaring the message of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, evangelizing many Samaritan villages as they went.
26 फिर प्रभु को एक स्वर्गदूत न फिलिप्पुस सी कह्यो, “उठ अऊर दक्षिन को तरफ ऊ रस्ता पर जा, जो यरूशलेम सी गाजा ख जावय हय।” यो रेगिस्तानी रस्ता हय।
And an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, "Arise and go on your way south, along the road that runs down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert way."
27 ऊ उठ क चल दियो, अऊर देखो, कूश देश को एक आदमी आय रह्यो होतो जो खोजा अऊर कूशियो की रानी कन्दाके को मंत्री अऊर खजांची होतो। ऊ आराधना करन ख यरूशलेम आयो होतो।
So he arose and went. And behold an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, who was a high official (a chief treasurer) of Candace, the queen of Ethiopia, who had come to Jerusalem to worship
28 ऊ अपनो रथ पर बैठ्यो हुयो होतो, अऊर यशायाह भविष्यवक्ता की किताब पढ़तो हुयो लौटत जाय रह्यो होतो।
Was now on his way home, and was reading the Prophet Isaiah as he sat in his chariot.
29 तब आत्मा न फिलिप्पुस सी कह्यो, “जवर जाय क यो रथ को संग हो ले।”
And the Spirit said to Philip, "Go up and join that chariot."
30 फिलिप्पुस ओको तरफ दवड़्यो अऊर ओख यशायाह भविष्यवक्ता की किताब पढ़तो हुयो सुन्यो, अऊर पुच्छ्यो “तय जो पढ़ रह्यो हय का ओख समझय भी हय?”
So Philip ran up, and heard him reading Isaiah the Prophet, and said to him. "Do you understand what you are reading?"
31 ओन कह्यो, “जब तक कोयी मोख नहीं समझाये त मय कसो समझू?” अऊर ओन फिलिप्पुस सी बिनती करी कि ऊ चढ़ क ओको जवर बैठ्यो।
The eunuch answered, "Why, how can I unless someone shall show me the way?" And he begged Philip to get up and sit with him.
32 धर्म शास्त्र को जो अध्याय ऊ पढ़ रह्यो होतो, ऊ यो होतो: “ऊ मेंढीं को जसो वध होन लायी पहुंचायो गयो, अऊर जसो मेम्ना अपनो ऊन कतरन वालो को आगु चुपचाप रह्य हय, वसोच ओन भी अपनो मुंह नहीं खोल्यो।
Now the portion of Scripture which he was reading was as follows. He was led a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is dumb, So he opened not his mouth.
33 ओकी दीनता म ओको न्याय नहीं होन पायो। ओको समय को लोगों को वर्नन कौन करेंन? कहालीकि धरती सी ओको जीवन उठा लियो जावय हय।”
In his humiliation justice was denied him. Who will declare his posterity? For his life is cut off from the earth.
34 येको पर खोजे न फिलिप्पुस सी पुच्छ्यो, “मय तोरो सी प्रार्थना करू हय, यो बताव कि भविष्यवक्ता यो कौन को बारे म कह्य हय, अपनो यां कोयी दूसरों को बारे म?”
"Pray," asked the eunuch of Philip, "of whom is the prophet speaking? Of himself, or of some one else?"
35 तब फिलिप्पुस न अपनो मुंह खोल्यो अऊर योच शास्त्र सी सुरूवात कर क् ओख यीशु को सुसमाचार सुनायो।
Then Philip opened his lips, and beginning from that same scripture, he preached the gospel of Jesus to him.
36 रस्ता म चलतो-चलतो हि कोयी पानी को जागा म पहुंच्यो। तब खोजे न कह्यो, “देख इत पानी हय, अब मोख बपतिस्मा लेनो म का रोक हय।”
And as they were going on their way they came to a certain water, and the eunuch said. "See, here is water! What hinders my being baptized?"
37 फिलिप्पुस न कह्यो, “यदि तय पूरो मन सी विश्वास करय हय त ले सकय हय।” ओन उत्तर दियो, “मय विश्वास करू हय कि यीशु मसीह परमेश्वर को बेटा आय।”
And Philip said, "If you believe with your whole heart, you may." The eunuch answered, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
38 तब ओन रथ खड़ो करन की आज्ञा दी, अऊर फिलिप्पुस अऊर खोजा दोयी पानी म उतरयो, अऊर ओन खोजा ख बपतिस्मा दियो।
And he ordered the chariot to stop; and both of them, Philip and the eunuch, went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
39 जब हि पानी सी निकल क ऊपर आयो, त प्रभु को आत्मा फिलिप्पुस ख उठा ले गयो, अऊर खोजे न ओख फिर नहीं देख्यो, अऊर ऊ खुश होतो हुयो अपनो रस्ता पर चली गयो।
And when they had come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but continued on his way rejoicing.
40 फिलिप्पुस अशदोद म आय निकल्यो, अऊर जब तक कैसरिया म नहीं पहुंच्यो, तब तक नगर-नगर सुसमाचार सुनावतो गयो।
Philip found himself at Ashdod. Then visiting town after town, he kept preaching the good news in all the cities until he reached Caesarea.
