1 कैसरिया म कुरनेलियुस नाम को एक आदमी होतो, जो इतालियानी नाम को पलटन को सूबेदार होतो।
Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
2 ऊ भक्त होतो, अऊर अपनो पूरो घरानों को संग परमेश्वर सी डरत होतो, अऊर यहूदी गरीब लोगों ख बहुत दान देत होतो, अऊर बराबर परमेश्वर सी प्रार्थना करत होतो।
a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.
3 ओन दोपहर लगभग तीन बजे दर्शन म साफ तरह सी देख्यो कि परमेश्वर को एक स्वर्गदूत ओको जवर अन्दर आय क कह्य हय, “हे कुरनेलियुस!”
At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius."
4 ओन ओख ध्यान सी देख्यो अऊर डर क कह्यो, “हे प्रभु, का आय?” स्वर्गदूत न ओको सी कह्यो, “तोरी प्रार्थनाये अऊर तोरो दान परमेश्वर को जवर याद लायी पहुंच्यो हंय;
He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
5 अऊर अब याफा म आदमी भेज क शिमोन ख, जो पतरस कहलावय हय, बुलाय लेवो।
Now send men to Joppa, and bring one Simon who is surnamed Peter.
6 ऊ शिमोन, चमड़ा को धन्दा करन वालो को इत मेहमान हय, जेको घर समुन्दर को किनार पर हय।”
He lodges with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside."
7 जब ऊ स्वर्गदूत जेन ओको सी बाते करी होती चली गयो, त ओन दोय सेवक, अऊर जो ओको जवर मौजूद रहत होतो उन्म सी एक भक्त सिपाही ख बुलायो,
When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.
8 अऊर उन्न सब बाते बताय क याफा ख भेज्यो।
Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 दूसरों दिन जब हि चलतो चलतो नगर को जवर पहुंच्यो, त दोपहर को समय पतरस छत पर प्रार्थना करन चढ़्यो।
Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.
10 ओख भूख लगी अऊर कुछ खानो चाहत होतो, पर जब हि तैयारी कर रह्यो होतो त ऊ बेहोश भय गयो;
He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.
11 अऊर ओन देख्यो, कि आसमान खुल गयो; अऊर एक पात्र बड़ी चादर को जसो चारों कोना सी लटकतो हुयो, धरती को तरफ उतर रह्यो हय।
He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,
12 जेको म धरती को सब तरह को चार पाय वालो जीव अऊर रेंगन वालो जन्तु अऊर आसमान को पक्षी होतो।
in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, crawling creatures and birds of the sky.
13 ओख एक असो आवाज सुनायी दियो, “हे पतरस उठ, मार अऊर खा।”
A voice came to him, "Rise, Peter, kill and eat."
14 पर पतरस न कह्यो, “नहीं प्रभु, कभीच नहीं; कहालीकि मय न कभी कोयी अपवित्र या अशुद्ध चिज नहीं खायी हय।”
But Peter said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean."
15 तब दूसरी बार ओख आवाज सुनायी दियो, “जो कुछ परमेश्वर न शुद्ध ठहरायो हय, ओख तय अशुद्ध मत कह्य।”
A voice came to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean."
16 तीन बार असोच भयो; तब तुरतच ऊ पात्र आसमान पर उठाय लियो गयो।
This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.
17 जब पतरस अपनो मन म संका म होतो, कि यो दर्शन जो मय न देख्यो ऊ का होय सकय हय, त देखो, हि आदमी जिन्ख कुरनेलियुस न भेज्यो होतो, शिमोन को घर को पता लगाय क द्वार पर आय खड़ो भयो,
Now while Peter was very perplexed within himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, look, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood before the gate,
18 अऊर बुलाय क पूछन लग्यो, “का शिमोन जो पतरस कहलावय हय, इतच मेहमान हय?”
and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.
19 पतरस त ऊ दर्शन पर सोचत रह्यो होतो, कि आत्मा न ओको सी कह्यो, “देख, तीन आदमी तोरी खोज म हंय।
While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Look, three men seek you.
20 येकोलायी उठ क खल्लो जा, अऊर बिन शक सी उन्को संग होय जा; कहालीकि मय नच उन्ख भेज्यो हय।”
But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."
21 तब पतरस न उतर क उन आदमियों सी कह्यो, “देखो, जेकी खोज तुम कर रह्यो हय, ऊ मयच आय। तुम्हरो आवन को का वजह हय?”
And Peter went down to the men, and said, "Look, I am the one whom you seek. Why have you come?"
22 उन्न कह्यो, “कुरनेलियुस सूबेदार जो सच्चो अऊर परमेश्वर सी डरन वालो अऊर पूरी यहूदी जाति म सुनाम आदमी हय, ओन एक पवित्र स्वर्गदूत सी यो निर्देश पायो हय कि तोख अपनो घर बुलाय क तोरो सी वचन सुने।”
They said, "Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say."
23 तब ओन उन्ख अन्दर बुलाय क उन्की मेहमानी करी। दूसरों दिन ऊ उन्को संग गयो, अऊर याफा नगर को भाऊ म सी कुछ ओको संग भय गयो।
So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day he arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
24 दूसरों दिन हि कैसरिया पहुंच्यो, अऊर कुरनेलियुस अपनो कुटुम्बियों अऊर प्रिय संगियों ख जमा कर क् उन्की रस्ता देख रह्यो होतो।
On the next day he entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.
25 जब पतरस अन्दर आय रह्यो होतो, त कुरनेलियुस न ओको सी भेंट करी, अऊर ओको घुटना को बल पर गिर क ओख नमस्कार करयो;
When it happened that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.
26 पर पतरस न ओख उठाय क कह्यो, “खड़ो हो, मय भी त आदमी आय।”
But Peter raised him up, saying, "Stand up. I myself am also a man."
27 अऊर ओको संग बातचीत करतो हुयो अन्दर गयो, अऊर बहुत सो लोगों ख जमा देख क
And as he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.
28 ओन कह्यो, “तुम जानय हय कि गैरयहूदी की संगति करनो यां ओको इत जानो यहूदी लायी अधर्म हय, पर परमेश्वर न मोख बतायो हय कि कोयी आदमी ख अपवित्र या अशुद्ध नहीं कहूं।
He said to them, "You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean.
29 येकोलायी मय जब बुलायो गयो त बिना कुछ कह्यो चली आयो। अब मय पूछू हय कि मोख कौन्सो काम लायी बुलायो गयो?”
Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?"
30 कुरनेलियुस न कह्यो, “योच घड़ी, पूरो चार दिन भयो, मय अपनो घर म दोपहर तीन बजे को लगभग प्रार्थना कर रह्यो होतो; त देखो, एक पुरुष चमकदार कपड़ा पहिन्यो हुयो, मोरो आगु आय खड़ो भयो
Cornelius said, "Four days ago until this hour, at three in the afternoon, I was praying in my house, and look, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 अऊर कहन लग्यो, ‘हे कुरनेलियुस, तोरी प्रार्थना सुन ली गयी हय अऊर तोरो दान परमेश्वर को आगु याद करयो गयो हंय।
and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.
32 येकोलायी कोयी ख याफा नगर भेज क शिमोन ख जो पतरस कहलावय हय, बुलाव। ऊ समुन्दर को किनार शिमोन, चमड़ा को धन्दा करन वालो को घर म मेहमान हय।’
Send therefore to Joppa, and summon Simon, who is surnamed Peter. He lodges in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the seaside.'
33 तब मय न तुरतच तोरो जवर लोग भेज्यो, अऊर तय न अच्छो करयो जो आय गयो। अब हम सब इत परमेश्वर को आगु हंय, ताकि जो कुछ परमेश्वर न तोरो सी कह्यो हय ओख सुनबो।”
Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by the Lord."
34 तब पतरस न कह्यो, “अब मोख निश्चय भयो कि परमेश्वर कोयी को पक्षपात नहीं करय,
And Peter opened his mouth and said, "Truly I perceive that God does not show favoritism;
35 बल्की हर जाति म जो ओको सी डरय अऊर सच्चायी को काम करय हय, ऊ ओख भावय हय।
but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
36 जो वचन ओन इस्राएलियों को जवर भेज्यो, जब ओन यीशु मसीह को द्वारा जो सब को प्रभु हय शान्ति को सुसमाचार सुनायो,
The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—
37 ऊ वचन तुम जानय हय, जो यूहन्ना को बपतिस्मा को प्रचार को बाद गलील सी सुरूवात होय क पूरो यहूदिया प्रदेश म फैल गयो:
that spoken word you yourselves know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 परमेश्वर न कौन्सो रीति सी यीशु नासरी ख पवित्र आत्मा अऊर सामर्थ सी अभिषेक करयो; ऊ भलायी करतो अऊर सब ख जो शैतान को सतायो हुयो होतो, अच्छो करतो फिरयो, कहालीकि परमेश्वर ओको संग होतो।
even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
39 हम उन सब कामों को गवाह हंय; जो ओन यहूदियों को देश अऊर यरूशलेम म भी करयो, अऊर उन्न ओख क्रूस पर लटकाय क मार डाल्यो।
We are witnesses of everything he did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they also killed by hanging on a tree.
40 ओख परमेश्वर न तीसरो दिन जीन्दो करयो, अऊर प्रगट भी कर दियो हय;
God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,
41 सब लोगों पर नहीं बल्की उन गवाहों पर जिन्ख परमेश्वर न पहिले सी चुन लियो होतो, यानेकि हम पर जिन्न ओको मरयो हुयो म सी जीन्दो होन को बाद ओको संग खायो-पीयो;
not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42 अऊर ओन हम्ख आज्ञा दियो कि लोगों म प्रचार करो अऊर गवाही दे, कि यो उच आय जेक परमेश्वर न जीन्दो अऊर मरयो हुयो को न्यायकर्ता ठहरायो हय।
He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is the one who is appointed by God as the judge of the living and the dead.
43 ओकी सब भविष्यवक्ता गवाही देवय हंय कि जो कोयी ओको पर विश्वास करेंन, ओख ओको नाम को द्वारा पापों की माफी मिलेंन।”
All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins."
44 पतरस या बाते कहतच रह्यो होतो कि पवित्र आत्मा वचन को सब सुनन वालो पर उतर आयो।
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.
45 अऊर जितनो खतना करयो हुयो विश्वासी पतरस को संग आयो होतो, हि सब अचम्भित हुयो कि गैरयहूदियों पर भी पवित्र आत्मा को दान कुड़ायो गयो हय।
They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the non-Jewish people.
46 कहालीकि उन्न उन्ख अलग-अलग तरह की भाषा बोलत अऊर परमेश्वर की बड़ायी करतो सुन्यो। येको पर पतरस न कह्यो,
For they heard them speaking in other tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
47 “का कोयी उन्ख रोक सकय हय कि हि बपतिस्मा नहीं पाये, जिन्न हमरो जसो पवित्र आत्मा पायो हय?”
"Can anyone withhold the water, that these who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we should not be baptized?"
48 अऊर ओन आज्ञा दियो कि उन्ख यीशु मसीह को नाम म बपतिस्मा दियो जाये। तब उन्न ओको सी बिनती करी कि ऊ कुछ दिन अऊर उन्को संग रहे।
He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.
