< Zakari 6 >

1 Tango natalaki lisusu, namonaki bashar minei liboso na ngai: ezali kobima na kati-kati ya bangomba mibale ya bronze.
I looked up again, and [in the vision] I saw four chariots coming toward me. [They were coming] between two mountains [that were made] of bronze.
2 Bampunda ya langi ya motane makasi ezalaki kobenda shar ya liboso, mpe bampunda ya langi ya mwindo ezalaki kobenda shar oyo ya mibale.
The first chariot [was pulled by] red horses, the second chariot [was pulled by] black horses,
3 Bampunda ya langi ya pembe ezalaki kobenda shar oyo ya misato, bampunda ya madodo-madodo ezalaki kobenda shar oyo ya minei. Bampunda nyonso ya madodo-madodo ezalaki makasi.
the third chariot [was pulled by] white horses, and the fourth chariot [was pulled by] spotted gray horses. They were all very strong horses.
4 Natunaki Anjelu oyo azalaki kosolola na ngai: — Bampunda nyonso oyo elakisi nini, nkolo na ngai?
I asked the angel who had been speaking to me, “Sir, what do those chariots mean?”
5 Azongiselaki ngai: — Ezali Molimo ya likolo oyo akokende na bangambo nyonso minei ya mokili mobimba. Atelemaki liboso ya Nkolo ya mokili mobimba mpe sik’oyo abimi.
The angel replied, “They have come from standing in the presence of the Lord who controls/rules the entire earth. They will go across the sky in four directions.
6 Shar oyo bampunda ya langi ya mwindo ezali kobenda ezali kokende na mokili ya nor; shar oyo bampunda ya langi ya pembe ezali kobenda ezali kolanda oyo ya liboso, mpe shar oyo bampunda ya madodo-madodo ezali kobenda ezali kokende na mokili ya sude.
The chariot [pulled by] black horses will go north, the [one pulled by] white horses will go west, the one [pulled by] spotted gray horses will go south.”
7 Bampunda nyonso ya makasi ebimaki mpe etondaki na posa makasi ya kotambola na mabele. Boye, Anjelu alobaki na yango: « Bokende kotambola na mokili! » Mpe ebimaki mpo na kokende kotambola na mabele.
When those powerful horses left, their [chariot-drivers] were eager to go throughout the world. [As they were leaving, ] the angel said to them, “Go throughout the world [and see what is happening]!” So that is what they did.
8 Abengaki ngai mpe alobaki na ngai: — Tala, bampunda oyo ezali kokende na mokili ya nor ekosala ete Molimo na ngai avanda na mokili wana ya nor.
Then the angel called to me [and said], “Look/Listen, the [drivers of the] chariots that have gone north will do what the Spirit [of Yahweh wants them to do] there.”
9 Yawe alobaki na ngai:
Then Yahweh gave me [another] message.
10 — Kamata palata mpe wolo epai ya Elidayi, Tobiya mpe Yedaeya, ba-oyo bawuti na bowumbu wuta na Babiloni; mpe na mokolo yango kaka, kende yo moko na ndako ya Joziasi, mwana mobali ya Sofoni, epai wapi bakomeli.
He said, “Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will be bringing some silver and gold from the people who were (exiled in/forced to go to) Babylon. As soon as they arrive, go to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.
11 Kamata palata mpe wolo mpo ete osalela yango motole; bongo okolatisa yango Jozue, mwana mobali ya Yeotsadaki, mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe.
Take [some of that] silver and gold from them and make a crown. Then put it on the head of Jehozadak’s son Joshua, the Supreme Priest.
12 Okoyebisa ye maloba oyo: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, alobi: ‹ Tala moto oyo kombo na ye ezali: Moto ya nzete. Nyonso ekobota esika ye azali, mpe ezali ye nde akotonga Tempelo ya Yawe.
Tell him that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, say that the man who is called the Branch will come. He will leave the place where he is now, and he will [supervise those who] build my temple.
13 Ezali ye nde akotonga Tempelo ya Yawe; bakolatisa ye bilembo ya lokumu, mpe akovanda na kiti ya bokonzi mpo na kokonza. Mpe wana kaka na kiti na ye ya bokonzi, akozala mpe Nganga-Nzambe. Bongo misala nyonso mibale, ezala ya bokonzi to ya bonganga-Nzambe, ekotambola malamu. › »
He is the one who [will tell those who] will build my temple [what to do]. He will wear royal clothing and he will sit on his throne and rule. There will also be a priest [sitting] next to his throne, and the two of them will work together harmoniously.
14 Bakobomba motole yango kati na Tempelo ya Yawe lokola ekaniseli mpo na kokanisa motema malamu ya Elidayi, ya Tobiya, ya Yedaeya mpe ya Eleme, mwana mobali ya Sofoni.
The crown must be [kept] in my temple to remind people of what Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiah [did for them].
15 Bato oyo bakowuta mosika penza bakoya mpo na kosunga misala ya kotonga Tempelo ya Yawe, bongo bokoyeba solo ete Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, nde atindaki ngai epai na bino. Makambo oyo ekokokisama solo soki boluki kotosa Yawe, Nzambe na bino.
People who are [living] far away will come and [help to] build my temple. When that happens, the people will know that [I], the Commander of the armies of angels, have sent you to them. [That will happen] if they faithfully obey me, Yahweh, your/their God.”
