1 Moko kati na ba-anjelu sambo oyo bazalaki na bakopo sambo ayaki mpe alobaki na ngai: « Yaka, nakolakisa yo etumbu oyo mwasi ya ndumba monene oyo avandaka na bibale minene akozwa.
And one of the seven angels who had the seven vials, came and spoke with me, saying, Come, and I will show you the judgment of the great harlot, that sits upon many waters:
2 Bakonzi minene ya mokili basalaki ekobo elongo na ye, mpe bavandi ya mokili balangwaki vino ya kindumba na ye. »
with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and all the inhabitants of the earth have been drunk with the wine of her whoredom.
3 Bongo kati na Molimo, amemaki ngai kati na esobe moko. Mpe kuna, namonaki mwasi moko avanda na likolo ya nyama ya motane. Loposo ya nyama yango etondaki na bakombo oyo ezalaki kofinga Nzambe. Yango moko nyama ezalaki na mito sambo mpe na maseke zomi.
And he brought me, in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast, full of slanderous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 Mwasi yango alataki bilamba ya motane ya pete mpe ya motane makasi, babiju ya wolo, mabanga ya talo mpe mayaka. Na loboko na ye, asimbaki kopo moko basala na wolo mpe etonda na makambo ya nkele mpe ya bosoto ya kindumba na ye.
And the woman was clothed with purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold, and precious stones, and pearls; having a golden cup in her hand, full of the abominations and pollution of her whoredom.
5 Na mbunzu na ye, bakomaki kombo moko oyo ebombaki makambo ya somo mpe oyo ndimbola na yango ezali: Babiloni monene, Mama ya Basi ya Ndumba mpe ya Makambo ya Nkele ya Mokili.
And she had upon her forehead her name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 Namonaki ete mwasi yango alangwaki makila ya basantu mpe ya batatoli ya Yesu. Tango kaka namonaki ye, namitungisaki mingi.
And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
7 Bongo anjelu alobaki na ngai: « Mpo na nini ozali komitungisa? Nakoyebisa yo mabombami ya mwasi wana mpe ya nyama oyo ememi ye, nyama oyo ezali na mito sambo mpe na maseke zomi.
And the angel said to me, Why do you wonder? I will tell you the secret of the woman, and of the beast which carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8 Nyama oyo omonaki; oyo liboso, ezalaki, mpe sik’oyo, ezali lisusu te; ekobima wuta na libulu moko ya monene mpe ya molili makasi, mpe ekokende na libebi na yango. Bavandi ya mokili, ba-oyo bakombo na bango ekomama te kati na buku ya bomoi wuta na ebandeli ya mokili bakokamwa tango bakomona nyama; pamba te liboso, ezalaki, mpe sik’oyo, ezali lisusu te, kasi ekoya lisusu. The beast which you saw, was, and is not; and he will ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go to destruction; and the inhabitants of the earth (whose names are not written in the book of life, from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, seeing the beast who was, and is not, yet shall be. (Abyssos g12)
9 Makambo oyo ezali penza kosenga mayele oyo bwanya engengisaka mpo na kososola yango. Mito sambo ezali bangomba sambo epai wapi mwasi avandaka.
Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
10 Ezali lisusu bakonzi sambo: mitano kati na bango basila kokweya na bokonzi. Moko azali sik’oyo na bokonzi, mpe mosusu ayei nanu te; kasi tango akoya, akowumela kaka mpo na tango moke.
And they are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must endure for a little time.
11 Bongo nyama oyo, liboso, ezalaki, mpe sik’oyo, ezali lisusu te, yango nde mokonzi ya mwambe. Ezali mpe moko kati na bakonzi wana sambo, mpe ezali kokende na libebi na yango.
And the beast that was, and is not, he is the eighth, and is of the seven, but goes to destruction.
12 Maseke zomi oyo omonaki ezali bakonzi zomi oyo bazwi nanu bokonzi te, kasi bakozwa yango mpo na ngonga moko mpe bakosalela yango lisanga na nyama.
And the ten horns which you saw, are ten kings, which have not yet received their kingdom, but they shall receive authority with the beast, as kings at the same time.
13 Bango nyonso zomi bazali na likanisi kaka moko: kosangisa nguya mpe bokonzi na bango mpo na kosalela nyama.
These have one mind, and shall deliver their own power and authority to the beast.
14 Bakobundisa Mpate, kasi Mpate akolonga bango mpo ete azali Nkolo ya bankolo mpe Mokonzi ya bakonzi. Elongo na Ye, babengami, baponami mpe ba-oyo bazali sembo bakolonga mpe lokola. »
These shall make war with the Lamb; and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is the Lord of lords, and King of kings; and those that are with him, are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 Anjelu alobaki na ngai: « Mayi oyo omonaki, oyo mwasi ya ndumba avandaki na likolo na yango, ezali bato ya mokili, bangulupa ebele ya bato, bikolo mpe nkota.
And he said to me, The waters which you saw, on which the harlot sat, are people, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 Nyama mpe maseke zomi oyo omonaki ekoyina mwasi ya ndumba, ekobotola biloko na ye nyonso mpe ekotika ye bolumbu; ekolia misuni na ye mpe ekotumba ye na nzela ya moto.
And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and make her desolate and naked; and they shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her with fire.
17 Pamba te Nzambe atia kati na mitema na bango makanisi ya kokokisa mabongisi na Ye moko Nzambe, na boyokani malamu mpo na kolatisa nyama wana nguya na bango ya bokonzi, kino mikano nyonso ya Nzambe ekokisama.
For God has given it into the hearts to execute his sentence, even to perform one purpose; and to give their kingdoms to the beast, till the words of God be fulfilled.
18 Mwasi oyo omonaki ezali engumba monene oyo ekonzaka bakonzi ya mokili. »
And the woman which you saw, is the great city, that rules over the kings of the earth.
