1 Yawe azali kokonza! Tika ete mabele esepela; tika ete ebele ya bisanga ezala na esengo!
Adonai reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!
2 Mapata mpe molili makasi ezingeli Ye, bosembo mpe bosolo ezali miboko ya Kiti na Ye ya Bokonzi.
Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and mishpat ·justice· are the foundation of his throne.
3 Moto etambolaka liboso na Ye, ezikisaka banguna na Ye, oyo bazingeli Ye.
A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.
4 Mikalikali na Ye engengisaka mokili; mpe tango mabele emonaka bongo, elengaka.
His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.
5 Bangomba enyangwamaka lokola mafuta liboso ya Yawe, liboso ya Nkolo ya mokili mobimba.
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of Adonai, at the presence of 'Adon [Lord] of the whole earth.
6 Likolo epanzaka sango ya bosembo na Ye, mpe bikolo nyonso bamonaka nkembo na Ye.
The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his kavod ·weighty glory·.
7 Tika ete soni ekanga basambeli nyonso ya bikeko, bato oyo bamikumisaka mpo na banzambe ya lokuta! Bino banzambe nyonso, bogumbama liboso na Ye!
Let all them be shamed who abad ·serve· engraved images, who boast in their idols. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship him, all you angels!
8 Yawe, Siona eyoki yango mpe esepeli; bingumba ya Yuda ezali na esengo mpo na mikano na Yo!
Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] sh'ma ·heard obeyed· and was glad. The daughters of Judah [Praised] rejoiced, because of your judgments, Adonai.
9 Pamba te, na mokili mobimba, Yo nde Yawe, ozali Ye-Oyo-Aleki-Likolo; oleki banzambe nyonso.
For you, Adonai, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all deities.
10 Bino bato oyo bolingaka Yawe, boyina mabe! Yawe abatelaka bomoi ya bayengebene na Ye mpe akangolaka bango na maboko ya bato mabe.
You who 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Moyi elonami mpo na moto ya sembo, mpe esengo, mpo na bato oyo bazali na mitema alima.
Light is sown for the upright, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Bino bato ya sembo, bosepela kati na Yawe; bosanzola Ye na kotatola bosantu na Ye.
Be glad in Adonai, you upright people! Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to his holy Name.
