1 Maloba ya Etani, moto ya Ezera. Nakoyemba tango nyonso bolingo ya Yawe; monoko na ngai ekosakola boyengebene na Yo libela na libela.
An instruction. Of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the loving-kindness of Jehovah for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness from generation to generation.
2 Solo, nazali kotatola yango: « Miboko ya bolingo na Yo ezali na suka te; ovandisi boyengebene na Yo kati na likolo. »
For I said, Loving-kindness shall be built up for ever; in the very heavens wilt thou establish thy faithfulness.
3 Olobaki: « Nasali boyokani elongo na moponami na ngai, nalapi ndayi epai ya mosali na ngai, Davidi:
I have made a covenant with mine elect, I have sworn unto David my servant:
4 ‹ Nakokomisa yo libota ya bokonzi mpo na tango nyonso mpe nakolendisa kiti na yo ya bokonzi mpo na seko. › »
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne from generation to generation. (Selah)
5 Yawe, Lola esanzolaka misala na Yo ya kokamwa mpe bosembo na Yo kati na lisanga ya basantu.
And the heavens shall celebrate thy wonders, O Jehovah, and thy faithfulness in the congregation of the saints.
6 Nani akokani na Yawe kuna na likolo? Nani akokani na Yawe kati na mampinga ya likolo?
For who in the heaven can be compared to Jehovah? [who] among the sons of the mighty shall be likened to Jehovah?
7 Azali Nzambe ya somo kati na lisanga ya basantu; solo, azali somo koleka ba-oyo nyonso bazingeli Ye.
God is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him.
8 Yawe, Nzambe-Na-Nguya-Nyonso, nani azali na nguya lokola Yo? Nani, oh Yawe? Boyengebene na Yo ezingeli Yo.
Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.
9 Yo nde okonzaka lolendo ya ebale monene mpe okitisaka bambonge na yango soki etomboki.
Thou rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.
10 Yo nde olongaki Rahavi, dalagona ya Ejipito, kino koboma ye; mpe, na nguya na Yo, opanzaki banguna na Yo.
Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.
11 Likolo ezali ya Yo; mabele mpe ezali ya Yo! Yo nde osala mokili mpe nyonso oyo ezali kati na yango.
Thine are the heavens, the earth also is thine; the world and its fulness, thou hast founded them.
12 Yo nde okela Nor mpe Sude; Tabori mpe Erimoni egangaka na esengo mpo na lokumu ya Kombo na Yo.
The north and the south, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon triumph in thy name.
13 Loboko na Yo ezali na makasi, loboko na Yo ezali na nguya, loboko na Yo ya mobali oyo otombola.
Thine is the arm of might: strong is thy hand, high is thy right hand.
14 Bosembo mpe alima ezali miboko ya Kiti ya Bokonzi na Yo, boyengebene mpe bolingo etambolaka liboso na Yo.
Righteousness and judgment are the foundation of thy throne; loving-kindness and truth go before thy face.
15 Esengo na bato oyo bayebi kobetela Yo maboko! Yawe, batambolaka na pole ya elongi na Yo,
Blessed is the people that know the shout of joy: they walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.
16 basepelaka mikolo nyonso na Kombo na Yo, basanzolaka bosembo na Yo.
In thy name are they joyful all the day, and in thy righteousness are they exalted.
17 Pamba te ozali nkembo mpe nguya na bango; mpe olongisaka biso na ngolu na Yo.
For thou art the glory of their strength; and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 Yawe azali nguba na biso; Mosantu ya Isalaele azali Mokonzi na biso.
For Jehovah is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel, our king.
19 Mokolo moko, olobaki na bayengebene na Yo kati na emoniseli: « Nasungaki elombe moko ya bitumba, natombolaki elenge mobali moko kati na bato na ngai;
Then thou spakest in vision of thy Holy One, and saidst, I have laid help upon a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
20 namonaki Davidi, mosali na ngai; napakolaki ye mafuta na ngai ya bule.
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21 Nakobatela ye na loboko na ngai ya nguya, mpe loboko na ngai ekokomisa ye makasi.
With whom my hand shall be established; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
22 Monguna akobimela ye ata moke te na pwasa, moto mabe akokoka konyokola ye te.
No enemy shall exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him;
23 Nakobebisa banguna na ye liboso na ye mpe nakoboma bayini na ye.
But I will beat down his adversaries before his face, and will smite them that hate him.
24 Bolingo mpe boyengebene na ngai ekozala elongo na ye; mpe na Kombo na Ngai, akotombola elongi.
And my faithfulness and my loving-kindness shall be with him, and by my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 Nakotia ebale monene na se ya loboko na ye, mpe bibale, na se ya loboko na ye ya mobali.
And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 Akobelela ngai boye: ‹ Ozali Tata na ngai, Nzambe na ngai, Libanga mpe Mobikisi na ngai! ›
He shall call unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation;
27 Mpe ngai, nakokomisa ye mwana na ngai ya liboso, mokonzi oyo aleki na kotombwama kati na bakonzi ya mokili.
And as to me, I will make him firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
28 Nakobatela mpo na seko bolingo na ngai mpo na ye; boyokani na ngai elongo na ye ekotikala kobeba te.
My loving-kindness will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him;
29 Nakobatela mpo na libela libota na ye ya bokonzi, mpe kiti na ye ya bokonzi ekowumela ndenge moko na likolo.
And I will establish his seed for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 Soki bana na ye basundoli mibeko na ngai mpe balandi bosembo na ngai te,
If his sons forsake my law, and walk not in mine ordinances;
31 soki babuki mitindo na ngai mpe babateli te mibeko na ngai,
If they profane my statutes, and keep not my commandments:
32 nakopesa bango etumbu na nzela ya lingenda, mpo na botomboki na bango, mpe na nzela ya makofi, mpo na masumu na bango;
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 kasi nakowangana te bolingo na ngai mpe nakobongola te boyengebene na ngai.
Nevertheless my loving-kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor belie my faithfulness;
34 Nakosambwisa te boyokani na ngai mpe nakobongola te maloba na ngai.
My covenant will I not profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Nalapaki yango na ndayi mbala moko mpo na libela na Kombo ya bosantu na ngai: ‹ Nakokosa Davidi te! ›
Once have I sworn by my holiness; I will not lie unto David:
36 Libota na ye ya bokonzi ekowumela mpo na libela, mpe kiti na ye ya bokonzi ekowumela lokola moyi liboso na ngai.
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
37 Solo, lokola sanza, ekowumela na bokonzi mpo na libela. Motatoli oyo azali kuna kati na likolo akoki kokosa te. »
It shall be established for ever as the moon, and the witness in the sky is firm. (Selah)
38 Nzokande, obwakaki, omonaki pamba, osilikelaki mopakolami na Yo!
But thou hast rejected and cast off; thou hast been very wroth with thine anointed:
39 Owanganaki boyokani oyo osalaki elongo na mosali na Yo, obwakaki na mabele mpe osambwisaki motole na ye.
Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his crown to the ground:
40 Otobolaki madusu kati na bamir na ye nyonso mpe obukaki bandako na ye, oyo batonga makasi;
Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
41 bato nyonso oyo balekaki wana babotolaki ye biloko, mpe bavandi ya pembeni na ye bakomaki kotiola ye.
All that pass by the way plunder him; he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
42 Obakisaki makasi ya bayini na ye mpe otondisaki banguna na ye nyonso na esengo,
Thou hast exalted the right hand of his oppressors; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice:
43 osalaki kutu ete mopanga na ye ebalukela ye moko mpe osungaki ye te na bitumba;
Yea, thou hast turned back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him stand in the battle.
44 osilisaki kongenga ya lokumu na ye, obwakaki kiti na ye ya bokonzi na mabele;
Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground;
45 okomisaki moke mikolo ya bolenge na ye mpe olatisaki ye kazaka ya soni.
The days of his youth hast thou shortened; thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
46 Yawe, kino tango nini? Okomibomba penza tango nyonso? Kino tango nini kanda na Yo ekongala lokola moto?
How long, Jehovah, wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy fury burn like fire?
47 Kanisa motango ya mikolo ya bomoi na ngai! Okelaki penza bato mpo na suka oyo ezanga ata tina!
Remember, as regards me, what life is. Wherefore hast thou created all the children of men to be vanity?
48 Moto nani akoki kozala na bomoi mpe azanga komona kufa? Nani akolonga kokima nguya ya mboka ya bakufi? (Sheol h7585)
What man liveth, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 Nkolo, wapi bolingo na Yo ya kala oyo alakaki Davidi na boyengebene na Yo na nzela ya ndayi?
Where, Lord, are thy former loving-kindnesses, [which] thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?
50 Nkolo, kanisa ndenge bazali kosakanela basali na Yo; kobosana te ete namemi mokumba ya bato oyo nyonso!
Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants — that I bear in my bosom [that of] all the mighty peoples —
51 Yawe, kanisa mafinga ya banguna na Yo, oyo batiolaka bomoi ya mopakolami na Yo!
Wherewith thine enemies, O Jehovah, have reproached, wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52 Tika ete Yawe apambolama libela na libela!
Blessed be Jehovah for evermore! Amen, and Amen.
