1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya bana ya Kore. Ezali ya koyemba na flite. Nzembo ya Emani, moto ya Ezera. Yawe, ozali Nzambe; Yo nde obikisaka ngai! Butu mpe moyi, nagangaka epai na Yo!
A song of a Psalm for the sons of Core for the end, upon Maeleth for responsive [strains], of instruction for Aeman the Israelite. O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried by day and in the night before thee.
2 Tika ete losambo na ngai ekoma epai na Yo; Yoka koganga na ngai!
Let my prayer come in before thee; incline thine ear to my supplication, O Lord.
For my soul is filled with troubles, and my life has drawn nigh to Hades. (Sheol h7585)
4 Batie ngai na molongo ya bato oyo bazali kokende na kunda; nakeseni ata moke te na moto oyo azali lisusu na makasi te.
I have been reckoned with them that go down to the pit; I became as a man without help;
5 Nakomi moko kati na bakufi, lokola bato oyo basila kokufa na bitumba mpe bazali sik’oyo kati na kunda, lokola bato oyo okanisaka lisusu te, pamba te obatelaka bango lisusu te.
free among the dead, as the slain ones cast out, who sleep in the tomb; whom thou rememberest no more; and they are rejected from thy hand.
6 Obwaki ngai na libulu ya mozindo makasi, kati na mozindo ya molili.
They laid me in the lowest pit, in dark [places], and in the shadow of death.
7 Kanda na Yo ya makasi ekweyeli ngai, bambonge na yango nyonso ezali konyokola ngai.
Thy wrath has pressed heavily upon me, and thou hast brought upon me all thy billows. (Pause)
8 Okaboli ngai na balingami na ngai ya motema, okomisi ngai eloko ya nkele na miso na bango; nakomi lokola mokangami kati na boloko, nakoki kobima te!
Thou hast removed my acquaintance far from me; they have made me an abomination to themselves; I have been delivered up, and have not gone forth.
9 Miso na ngai ezali komona lisusu te mpo na pasi; nzokande nabelelaka Yo, Yawe, mikolo nyonso, natombolaka maboko na ngai epai na Yo!
Mine eyes are dimmed from poverty; but I cried to thee, O Lord, all the day; I spread forth my hands to thee.
10 Boni, okosala bikamwa mpo na bakufi? Boni, bakufi bakoki kotelema mpo na kosanzola Yo?
Wilt thou work wonders for the dead? or shall physicians raise [them] up, that they shall praise thee?
11 Boni, bolingo na Yo etatolamaka kati na kunda, mpe bosembo na Yo, kati na mboka ya bakufi?
Shall any one declare thy mercy in the tomb? and thy truth in destruction?
12 Boni, bikamwa na Yo eyebani kati na molili, mpe bosembo na Yo, kati na mokili ya bato oyo babosana?
Shall thy wonders be known in darkness? and thy righteousness in a forgotten land?
13 Kasi ngai, nazali kobelela nde Yo, Yawe; nabondelaka Yo tongo nyonso.
But I cried to thee, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
14 Yawe, mpo na nini kobwaka ngai mpe kobombela ngai elongi na Yo?
Wherefore, O Lord, dost thou reject my prayer, [and] turn thy face away from me?
15 Wuta bolenge na ngai, nazali mobola mpe moto na pasi; mpe okweyiselaka ngai makambo na Yo ya somo! Solo, elikya esili ngai!
I am poor and in troubles from my youth; and having been exalted, I was brought low and into despair.
16 Kanda makasi na Yo ebetaka ngai, minyoko oyo ewutaka epai na Yo ekomisaka ngai moto pamba.
Thy wrath has passed over me; and thy terrors have greatly disquieted me.
17 Ezingelaka ngai mikolo nyonso, lokola mayi, na bangambo nyonso.
They compassed me like water; all the day they beset me together.
18 Okaboli ngai na baninga mpe balingami na ngai, natikali na moninga kaka moko ya motema: molili!
Thou hast put far from me [every] friend, and mine acquaintances because of [my] wretchedness.
