1 Libondeli ya Davidi. Yawe, yoka mpe yanola ngai; pamba te nazali mobola mpe moto akelela.
A prayer of David. Incline thine eare, O Lord, and heare me: for I am poore and needy.
2 Batela bomoi na ngai, pamba te nazali moyengebene na Yo. Yo, Nzambe na ngai, bikisa ngai, mosali na Yo, oyo natiaka elikya kati na Yo.
Preserue thou my soule, for I am mercifull: my God, saue thou thy seruant, that trusteth in thee.
3 Oh Nkolo, yokela ngai mawa; pamba te nabelelaka Yo tango nyonso!
Be mercifull vnto me, O Lord: for I crie vpon thee continually.
4 Nkolo, sepelisa motema na ngai, mosali na Yo, pamba te natombolaka molimo na ngai epai na Yo.
Reioyce the soule of thy seruant: for vnto thee, O Lord, doe I lift vp my soule.
5 Nkolo, ozali malamu, olimbisaka, otonda na bolingo mpo na bato nyonso oyo babelelaka Yo.
For thou, Lord, art good and mercifull, and of great kindenes vnto all them, that call vpon thee.
6 Yawe, yoka losambo na ngai, yoka libondeli na ngai!
Giue eare, Lord, vnto my prayer, and hearken to the voyce of my supplication.
7 Na mokolo ya pasi na ngai, nabelelaka Yo, pamba te oyanolaka ngai.
In the day of my trouble I will call vpon thee: for thou hearest me.
8 Nkolo, nzambe moko te ekokani na Yo, kati na banzambe; moko te ekoki kosala makambo oyo Yo osalaka.
Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord, and there is none that can doe like thy workes.
9 Nkolo, bikolo nyonso oyo osala ekoya kogumbama liboso na Yo mpe ekoya kopesa Kombo na Yo nkembo.
All nations, whome thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorifie thy Name.
10 Pamba te ozali monene mpe osalaka bikamwa; Yo kaka nde ozali Nzambe.
For thou art great and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.
11 Yawe, lakisa ngai nzela na Yo, mpe nakotambola kolanda bosolo na Yo. Pesa ngai motema ya sembo mpo ete natosa Yo.
Teach me thy way, O Lord, and I will walke in thy trueth: knit mine heart vnto thee, that I may feare thy Name.
12 Nkolo, Nzambe na ngai, nakosanzola Yo, na motema na ngai mobimba, nakopesa Kombo na Yo nkembo mpo na Yo libela.
I wil prayse thee, O Lord my God, with all mine heart: yea, I wil glorifie thy Name for euer.
13 Pamba te bolingo na Yo mpo na ngai ezali monene, mpe okangolaki ngai wuta na mozindo ya mboka ya bakufi. (Sheol h7585)
For great is thy mercie toward me, and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest graue. (Sheol h7585)
14 Nzambe, bato ya lofundu bazali kobundisa ngai, mpe ngulupa ya bato na kanza bazali koluka koboma ngai; batosaka Yo ata moke te.
O God, the proude are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought my soule, and haue not set thee before them.
15 Kasi Yo Nkolo, ozali Nzambe na mawa mpe na ngolu, osilikaka noki te, otonda na bolingo mpe na boyengebene.
But thou, O Lord, art a pitifull God and mercifull, slowe to anger and great in kindenes and trueth.
16 Balola elongi na Yo epai na ngai mpe yokela ngai mawa; pesa ngai, mosali na Yo, makasi mpe bikisa ngai mwana ya mwasi mosali na Yo!
Turne vnto me, and haue mercy vpon me: giue thy strength vnto thy seruant, and saue the sonne of thine handmayd.
17 Salela ngai elembo ya boboto na Yo mpo ete banguna na ngai bamona yango mpe bakufa soni! Yawe, ozali Mosungi mpe Mobondi na ngai.
Shew a token of thy goodnes towarde me, that they which hate me, may see it, and be ashamed, because thou, O Lord, hast holpen me and comforted me.
