< Banzembo 83 >
1 Nzembo ya Azafi. Oh Nzambe, kovanda nye te! Nzambe, kokanga monoko na Yo te, kotikala kimia te!
A song, [or] Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 Tala ndenge banguna na Yo bazali kotomboka; tala ndenge bayini na Yo bazali kotombola mito na bango!
For lo, thy enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 Bazali kosalela bato na Yo likita, kokanela bato oyo obatelaka.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 Bazali koloba: « Boya, toboma bango nyonso mpo ete ekolo na bango ezala lisusu te, mpo ete batanga lisusu kombo ya Isalaele te. »
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 Basangani mpe bayokani, basali boyokani mpo na kotelemela Yo:
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee,
6 bato ya Edomi mpe bato ya Isimaeli, bato ya Moabi mpe bato ya Agari,
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebali, Amoni mpe Amaleki, bato ya Filisitia elongo na bato ya Tiri.
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Bato ya Asiri mpe basangani elongo na bango mpo na kobakisa bakitani ya Loti makasi.
Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. (Selah)
9 Sala bango ndenge osalaki Madiani, ndenge osalaki Sisera mpe Yabini, kuna na mayi ya Kishoni.
Do to them as [to] the Midianites; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Babebisamaki na Eyini-Dori, bakomaki lokola matiti ya kopola mpo na mabele.
[Who] perished at En-dor: they became [as] dung for the earth.
11 Sala bato na bango ya lokumu ndenge osalaki Orebi mpe Zeebi; mpe sala bakambi na bango ndenge osalaki Zeba mpe Tsalimuna
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yes, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 oyo bazalaki koloba: « Tobotola mabele ya Nzambe! »
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 Nzambe na ngai, balola bango lokola matiti oyo mopepe ezali kopumbwisa.
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 Ndenge moto ezikisaka zamba, ndenge moto makasi ezikisaka bangomba,
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 landa bango na nzela ya mopepe na Yo mpe bangisa bango na nzela ya mopepe makasi na Yo!
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Yawe, tondisa bilongi na bango na soni mpo ete baluka Kombo na Yo!
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17 Tika ete soni mpe somo makasi elata bango mpo na libela! Tika ete bakufa na soni!
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 Tika bayeba ete Yo, oyo Kombo na Yo ezali Yawe, ozali Ye-Oyo-Aleki-Likolo kati na mokili mobimba!
That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth.
