< Banzembo 81 >
1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Azafi. Ezali ya koyemba na lindanda ya bato ya Gati. Boganga na esengo epai ya Nzambe, makasi na biso! Bobetela Nzambe ya Jakobi maboko!
To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." Asaph’s. Shout ye for joy, unto God our strength, Sound the note of triumph, to the God of Jacob;
2 Boyemba banzembo, bobeta bambunda mike, lindanda oyo ebimisaka lokito kitoko mpe nzenze!
Raise a melody, and strike the timbrel, The lyre so sweet, with the harp:
3 Bobeta kelelo na ebandeli ya sanza, na tango oyo sanza mobimba engengaka, mpo na mokolo ya feti na biso!
Blow, at the new moon, the horn, At the full moon, for the day of our sacred festival:
4 Pamba te ezali mobeko mpo na Isalaele, mpe mokano ya Nzambe ya Jakobi.
For, a statute to Israel, it is, A regulation, by the God of Jacob;
5 Atiaki yango lokola mobeko mpo na Jozefi tango abundisaki Ejipito. Nazali koyoka lokota oyo nayebi te:
A testimony in Joseph, he appointed it, When he went forth over the land of Egypt: A language I liked not, used I to hear;
6 « Nalongolaki mokumba oyo ezalaki na mapeka na ye, mpe maboko na ye elongwaki na bowumbu ya kosimba bitunga. »
I took away, from the burden, his shoulder, his hands, from the clay, were set free.
7 Tango ozalaki koganga mpo na pasi, nakangolaki yo, nayanolaki yo kati na kake epai wapi nabombamaki, namekaki yo pembeni ya mayi ya Meriba.
In distress, thou didst cry, and I delivered thee, —I answered thee, within a hiding-place of thunder, I proved thee by the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 Bato na ngai, boyoka ngai! Mpe nakokebisa bino. Ah Isalaele, soki kaka ozalaki koyokela ngai!
Hear, O my people, and I will adjure thee, O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me!
9 Okozala na nzambe ya mopaya te kati na yo, okogumbamela nzambe mosusu te, longola kaka ngai!
There shall not be, within thee, a foreign GOD, —Neither shalt thou bow down to a strange GOD:
10 Nazali Yawe, Nzambe na yo, oyo abimisaki yo na Ejipito; fungola malamu monoko na yo, mpe nakotondisa yango.
I, Yahweh, am thy God, Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, —Open wide thy mouth, that I may fill it.
11 Kasi bato na ngai bayokaki mongongo na ngai te, Isalaele aboyaki kotosa ngai.
But my people, hearkened not, unto my voice, Even, Israel, inclined not unto me.
12 Mpo na yango, natikaki bango kotambola kolanda baposa ya mitema makasi na bango; mpe balandaki makanisi na bango.
So then I let them go on in the stubbornness of their own heart, They might walk in their own counsels!
13 Soki bato na ngai bazalaki koyokela ngai, soki Isalaele azalaki kolanda banzela na ngai,
If, my people, were hearkening unto me, [If, ] Israel, in my ways, would walk,
14 nalingaki mbala moko koyokisa banguna na bango soni mpe kobundisa bayini na bango.
Right soon, their foes, would I subdue, And, against their adversaries, would I turn my hand:
15 Mpe bato oyo bayinaka Yawe balingaki komikitisa liboso na Ye, mpe etumbu na bango elingaki kowumela mpo na libela.
The haters of Yahweh, should come cringing unto him, Then let their own good time be age-abiding!
16 Yawe alingaki koleisa Isalaele bilei ya kitoko mpe kotondisa bango na mafuta ya nzoyi.
Then would he feed them from the marrow of the wheat, Yea, out of the rock—with honey, would I satisfy thee.
