1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya koyemba lokola « Koboma te! » Nzembo ya Azafi. Nzambe, tozali kosanzola Yo, tozali kosanzola Kombo na Yo; mpo ete Kombo na Yo ezali pene, bato bazali kotatola bikamwa na Yo.
For the chief musician; set to Al Tashheth. A psalm of Asaph, a song. We give thanks to you, God; we give thanks, for you reveal your presence; people tell of your wondrous works.
2 Olobaki: « Na tango oyo ngai moko nakobongisa, nakokata makambo na bosembo.
At the appointed time I will judge fairly.
3 Mokili ekoki kolenga elongo na bavandi na yango nyonso, kasi ezali ngai nde nalendisaka makonzi na yango. »
Though the earth and all the inhabitants shake in fear, I make steady the earth's pillars. (Selah)
4 Nazali koloba na moto ya lofundu: « Kotombola lisusu mapeka te; » mpe na bato mabe: « Bosala lisusu lolendo te.
I said to the arrogant, “Do not be arrogant,” and to the wicked, “Do not lift up the horn.
5 Bomeka lisusu te kosala lofundu mpe koloba na lolendo. »
Do not lift up your horn to the heights; do not speak with an insolent neck.”
6 Botombwami ewutaka na Este te, na Weste te, ewutaka mpe na esobe te.
It is not from the east or from the west, and it is not from the wilderness that lifting up comes.
7 Pamba te ezali Nzambe nde akataka makambo: akitisaka moto songolo mpe atombolaka moto pakala.
But God is the judge; he brings down and he lifts up.
8 Loboko na Yawe esimbi kopo oyo etondi na vino ya makasi mpe ya bololo. Azali kosopa yango, mpe bato mabe nyonso ya mokili bazali komeka mpe komela yango kino na mbindo oyo etikalaka na se ya kopo.
For Yahweh holds in his hand a cup of foaming wine, which is mixed with spices, and pours it out. Surely all the wicked of the earth will drink it to the last drop.
9 Mpo na ngai, nakotatola makambo oyo tango nyonso, nakoyemba mpo na lokumu ya Nzambe ya Jakobi,
But I will continually tell what you have done; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 oyo azali koloba: « Nakosilisa makasi nyonso ya bato mabe; kasi nguya ya bato ya sembo ekomata lisusu makasi. »
He says, “I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be raised up.”
