1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi, kolanda Yedutuni. Nzembo ya Davidi. Solo, nazwaka kimia kati na Nzambe; lobiko na ngai ewutaka epai na Ye.
To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.
2 Solo, azali libanga mpe lobiko na ngai; azali ebombamelo na ngai, nakoningana te.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 Kino tango nini bokosangela moto moko? Kino tango nini bino nyonso bokosangana mpo na koluka koboma ye lokola mir oyo etengami, lokola lopango oyo esili kokweya?
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence.
4 Solo, basalaka makita mpo na kokweyisa ye wuta na esika na ye ya likolo, basepelaka kotatola lokuta. Bapambolaka na nzela ya minoko na bango; kasi kati na mitema na bango, balakelaka mabe.
They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
5 Oh molimo na ngai, zwa bopemi kati na Nzambe, pamba te elikya na ngai ewutaka epai na Ye.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.
6 Solo, azali libanga mpe lobiko na ngai; azali ebombamelo na ngai, nakoningana te.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 Nzambe azali lobiko mpe nkembo na ngai; libanga ya makasi na ngai mpe ebombamelo na ngai ezali kati na Nzambe.
In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.
8 Botielaka Ye elikya tango nyonso, bosopaka mitema na bino liboso na Ye, pamba te Nzambe azali ebombamelo mpo na biso.
Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Solo, bato bazali lokola molunge, bazali lokola lokuta; Soki batie bango na emekelo kilo, ata molunge ekoleka bango nyonso na kilo.
Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.
10 Botiaka elikya te na mileki ya moyibi, mpe botielaka yango motema te; soki bomengo na bino ekomi ebele, bokangama na yango te.
Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].
11 Nzambe alobaki mbala moko, ngai nayokaki mbala mibale: « Pamba te makasi ezali ya Nzambe;
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God.
12 mpe bolingo ezali ya Nkolo; » mpe « ofutaka moto nyonso kolanda misala na ye. »
Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
