Banzembo 61

1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Eyembamaki na lindanda. Nzembo ya Davidi. Oh Nzambe, yoka koganga na ngai, yoka na bokebi losambo na ngai.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme of David. Heare my cry, O God: giue eare vnto my prayer.

2 Wuta na suka ya mokili, nazali kobelela Yo, motema na ngai ebukani! Mema ngai na libanga oyo eleki likolo epai wapi nakokoka te kokoma ngai moko.

From the endes of the earth will I crye vnto thee: when mine heart is opprest, bring me vpon the rocke that is higher then I.

3 Pamba te, ozali ebombamelo na ngai, ndako molayi batonga makasi, liboso ya banguna na ngai.

For thou hast bene mine hope, and a strong tower against the enemie.

4 Posa ya motema na ngai ezali: kovanda tango nyonso kati na Ndako na Yo mpe kozwa ebombamelo na se ya mapapu na Yo.

I will dwell in thy Tabernacle for euer, and my trust shall be vnder the couering of thy wings. (Selah)

5 Pamba te Yo Nzambe, oyokaki bandayi na ngai, opesaki ngai libula ya bato oyo batosaka Kombo na Yo.

For thou, O God, hast heard my desires: thou hast giuen an heritage vnto those that feare thy Name.

6 Pesa na mokonzi na biso bomoi molayi; tika ete awumela na bomoi.

Thou shalt giue the King a long life: his yeeres shalbe as many ages.

7 Tika ete awumela na bokonzi libela na libela liboso ya Nzambe! Bolingo mpe boyengebene na Yo ekobatela ye.

Hee shall dwell before God for euer: prepare mercie and faithfulnes that they may preserue him.

8 Boye, nakoyemba mikolo nyonso mpo na lokumu ya Kombo na Yo, mpe nakokokisa bandayi na ngai mokolo na mokolo.

So will I alway sing prayse vnto thy Name in performing dayly my vowes.
