1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Davidi; ezali ya koyemba na lindanda ya basinga mwambe. Yawe, kopesa ngai etumbu te na kanda na Yo, kopesa ngai etumbu te na kanda makasi na Yo.
Yahweh, do not punish me when you are angry [with me]; Do not even rebuke/scold me [when you are angry].
2 Yawe, yokela ngai mawa, pamba te nazangi makasi. Yawe, bikisa ngai na bokono, pamba te mikuwa na ngai elembi.
Yahweh, be kind to me and heal me because I have become weak. My body [SYN] shakes because I am experiencing much pain.
3 Molimo na ngai ezali kotungisama makasi; bongo Yo, Yawe, kino tango nini?
Yahweh, I am greatly distressed. How long ([must I endure this/will it be before you help me]) [RHQ]?
4 Yawe, zongela ngai, mpe kokangola ngai, bikisa ngai, mpo na bolingo na Yo.
Yahweh, please come and rescue me. Save me because you faithfully love me.
5 Pamba te bakufi bakoki lisusu te kotatola Kombo na Yo te! Mpe kati na mboka ya bakufi, nani akoki kokumisa Yo? (Sheol h7585)
I will not be able to praise you after I die [RHQ]; No one in the place of the dead praises you. (Sheol h7585)
6 Kolela elembisi ngai nzoto. Butu nyonso, nalelaka na mbeto na ngai, mpe napolisaka na mpinzoli, esika oyo nalalaka.
I am exhausted/groan [from my pain]. At night I cry very much, with the result that my bed and my pillow become wet from my tears.
7 Miso na ngai ebebi mpo na mawa; ezali lisusu komona malamu te likolo ya banyokoli na ngai.
My tears blur my eyes so much that I cannot see well. My eyes have become weak because my enemies [have caused me to cry constantly].
8 Bino nyonso oyo bosalaka mabe, bolongwa liboso na ngai, pamba te Yawe ayoki kolela na ngai.
You people who do evil things, get away from me!
9 Yawe ayanoli mabondeli na ngai mpe ayambi losambo na ngai.
Yahweh heard me when I was crying and called out to him [to help me], and he will answer my prayer.
10 Banguna na ngai nyonso bakoyoka soni, mpe somo monene ekokanga bango; bakozonga na sima mpe bakoyoka mbala moko soni.
[When that happens], all my enemies will be ashamed, and they will [also] be terrified. They will get away [from me] and suddenly [leave me] because they will be disgraced.
