2 Bayini na ngai batungisaka ngai mikolo nyonso; bato oyo babundisaka ngai na lolendo bazali ebele.
My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.
3 Mokolo oyo nazalaka na bobangi, natiaka elikya na ngai kati na Yo.

In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
5 Babongolaka maloba na ngai mikolo nyonso; mabongisi na bango nyonso ezalaka mpo na kosala ngai mabe.
All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.
6 Basalaka makita, babombamaka, balandaka ngai mpo na kosala ngai mabe.
They conspire and lurk, watching my steps, they are eager to take my life.
7 Mpo na makambo oyo ya mabe, boni, bazanga etumbu? Oh Nzambe, kweyisela bikolo kanda na Yo!
Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.
8 Solo, oyebi motango ya matambe ya bomoi na ngai ya mitelengano. Sopa mpinzoli na ngai kati na mbeki na Yo, oyo ezali buku na Yo ya ekaniseli.

9 Bongo, na mokolo oyo nakobelela mpo na kosenga lisungi, banguna na ngai bakozonga sima. Na nzela ya likambo yango, nakoyeba ete Nzambe azali mpo na ngai.
Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this, that God is for me.
10 Pembeni ya Nzambe oyo nakumisaka Liloba na Ye, pembeni ya Yawe oyo nakumisaka Liloba na Ye,

11 pembeni ya Nzambe oyo natielaka motema mpe nazalaka na bobangi te, moto akoki kosala ngai nini?
I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
12 Epai na Yo Nzambe, nakokokisa bandayi na ngai mpe nakobonza bambeka ya matondi.
Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.
13 Pamba te okangoli ngai na kufa mpe obateli makolo na ngai ete ebeta mabaku te, mpo ete natambola liboso na Yo Nzambe kati na pole ya bomoi.
