< Banzembo 52 >
1 Nzembo ya Davidi. Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Eyembamaki tango Doegi, moto ya Edomi, akendeki koyebisa Saulo ete Davidi akoti na ndako ya Ayimeleki. Yo elombe, mpo na nini ozali komikumisa na tina na mabe? Bolingo ya Nzambe emonanaka mikolo nyonso.
“To the chief musician, a Maskil of David, When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Achimelech.” What vauntest thou thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? the kindness of God endureth all the time.
2 Yo oyo otambolaka na lokuta, lolemo na yo esalaka mabongisi ya libebi, ekosaka lokola mbeli bapelisa malamu.
Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs, like a sharpened razor, thou worker of deceit.
3 Olingaka mabe koleka bolamu, lokuta koleka koloba bosolo.
Thou lovest evil more than good; falsehood more than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
4 Oh lolemo ya lokuta, olingaka maloba nyonso oyo epanzaka.
Thou lovest all words of destruction, the tongue of deceit.
5 Solo, Ye moko Nzambe akobebisa yo mpo na libela, akokanga yo kati na ndako na yo, akobwaka yo libanda mpe akopikola yo na mokili ya bato ya bomoi.
[Therefore] God will also destroy thee for ever: he will take thee away, and pluck thee out of his tent, and root thee out of the land of life. (Selah)
6 Bato ya sembo bakomona mpe bakokoma na somo, bakotiola ye na maloba oyo:
And the righteous shall see it, and they will be afraid, and laugh concerning him:
7 « Tala moto oyo azalaki te kozwa Nzambe lokola ebombamelo na ye, azalaki kotiela bozwi na ye motema, mpe kobakisa makasi na ye na nzela ya kobebisa bato mosusu. »
“Lo, this is the man that made not God his fortress; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, relied proudly on his mischievous wickedness.”
8 Kasi ngai, kati na Ndako na Yo, nazali lokola nzete ya olive oyo etondi na makasa ya mobesu; natiaka tango nyonso elikya na ngai kati na bolingo monene ya Nzambe, mpo na libela.
But I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the kindness of God for ever and ever.
9 Nakosanzola Yo mikolo nyonso, mpo na oyo osali; mpe nazalaka na elikya kati na Kombo na Yo, pamba te ozali malamu mpo na bayengebene na Yo.
I will thank thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for [it is] good, before thy pious ones.
