1 Nzembo ya bana ya Kore. Yawe azali monene mpe abongi na lokumu, kati na engumba ya Nzambe na biso, ngomba na Ye ya bule.
A Song. A Psalm. Of the sons of Korah. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, in the town of our God, in his holy mountain.
2 Ezali kitoko, ngomba moke oyo esalaka esengo ya mokili mobimba, ngomba Siona! Ngambo na yango ya Nor nde ezali engumba ya Mokonzi Monene.
Beautiful in its high position, the joy of all the earth, is the mountain of Zion, the mountain of God, the town of the great King.
3 Nzambe azali kati na bandako na yango ya bokonzi, amimonisi lokola ndako batonga makasi.
In its buildings God is seen to be a high tower.
4 Pamba te bakonzi basanganaki, batambolaki nzela moko.
For see! the kings came together by agreement, they were joined together.
5 Kasi tango kaka bamonaki yango, bakamwaki mpe bakimaki na somo.
They saw it, and so were full of wonder; they were troubled, and went quickly away in fear.
6 Mbala moko, bakomaki kolenga wana lokola mwasi oyo azali na pasi ya kobota
Shaking came on them and pain, as on a woman in childbirth.
7 to lokola mopepe ya Este oyo apanzaka masuwa ya Tarsisi.
By you the ships of Tarshish are broken as by an east wind.
8 Ndenge kaka bayebisaki biso, ndenge mpe tomonaki kati na engumba ya Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, kati na engumba ya Nzambe na biso; Nzambe alendisaka yango seko na seko.
As it came to our ears so have we seen it, in the town of the Lord of armies, in the town of our God; God will keep it fixed for ever. (Selah)
9 Nzambe, kati na Tempelo na Yo, tokanisaka bolingo na Yo.
Our thoughts were of your mercy, O God, while we were in your Temple.
10 Nzambe, lokumu na Yo epanzani kino na suka ya mokili, ndenge moko na Kombo na Yo; loboko na Yo ya mobali etondi na bosembo.
As your name is, O God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.
11 Ngomba ya Siona ezali kosepela, bamboka ya Yuda etondi na esengo mpo na mikano na Yo.
Let there be joy in the mountain of Zion, and let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your wise decisions.
12 Botambola pembeni ya Siona, bokende zingazinga na yango, botanga bandako na yango ya milayi.
Make your way about Zion, and go round it, numbering its towers.
13 Botala lopango na yango, botala malamu bandako na yango mpo ete bopesa sango epai ya bato oyo bakoya na sima.
Take note of its strong walls, looking well at its fair buildings; so that you may give word of it to the generation which comes after.
14 Pamba te Nzambe wana azali Nzambe na biso seko na seko mpe libela na libela; akotambolisa biso, ezala kino na kufa.
Because this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide.
