Banzembo 34
1 Nzembo ya Davidi. Ayembaki yango tango akosanaki liboma liboso ya Abimeleki oyo abenganaki ye, mpe akendeki. Nakopambola Yawe tango nyonso, nakokumisa Ye mikolo nyonso na bibebu na ngai.
[By David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.] I will bless Jehovah at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2 Tika ete bomoi na ngai emikumisa kati na Yawe; tika ete banyokolami bayoka mpe basepela!
My soul shall boast in Jehovah. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3 Boya kosakola elongo na ngai ete Yawe azali monene! Tonetola Kombo na Ye, biso nyonso.
Oh magnify Jehovah with me. Let us exalt his name together.
4 Nalukaki Yawe, mpe ayanolaki ngai; akangolaki ngai na somo na ngai nyonso.
I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 Bato oyo batalaka epai na Ye bangengaka na esengo, mpe bayokisamaka soni ata moke te.
They looked to him and were radiant, and their faces are not ashamed.
6 Mobola agangaki, mpe Yawe ayokaka ye; abikisaki ye na pasi na ye nyonso.
This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 Anjelu ya Yawe atongaka molako na ye zingazinga ya bato oyo batosaka Yawe, mpe akangolaka bango.
The angel of Jehovah encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 Bomeka elengi mpe botala ndenge nini Yawe azali malamu; Esengo na moto oyo azwaka Yawe lokola ebombamelo na ye!
Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9 Bino basantu ya Yawe, botosa Yawe; pamba te bato oyo batosaka Ye bazangaka eloko moko te.
Oh fear Jehovah, you his holy ones, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
10 Bana ya nkosi ezangaka mpe ekufaka nzala, kasi bato oyo balukaka Yawe bakozanga eloko moko.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Jehovah shall not lack any good thing.
11 Bana na ngai, boya, boyoka ngai; Nakolakisa bino kotosa Yawe.
Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
12 Nani asepelaka na bomoi? Nani alingaka kobika mikolo ebele ya esengo?
Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Batela lolemo na yo mosika na mabe, mpe bibebu na yo ete eloba lokuta te.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.
14 Zala mosika na mabe mpe sala bolamu, luka kimia mpe koba na yango.
Turn away from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
15 Miso ya Yawe etalaka bato ya sembo, mpe matoyi na Ye eyokaka koganga na bango;
The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
16 kasi Yawe apesaka bato mabe mokongo mpo ete bakanisa bango lisusu te kati na mokili.
Jehovah's face is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 Tango bato ya sembo babelelaka, Yawe ayokaka mpe akangolaka bango na pasi na bango nyonso.
The righteous cry out, and Jehovah hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 Yawe azali pene ya bato oyo bazoki na mitema mpe abikisaka ba-oyo balembi na milimo na bango.
Jehovah is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
19 Pasi mingi ekangaka moto ya sembo, kasi Yawe akangolaka ye na nyonso,
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.
20 abatelaka mikuwa na ye nyonso mpo ete moko te kati na yango ebukana.
He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21 Mabe ebomaka moto mabe, mpe bayini ya moto ya sembo bakozwa etumbu.
Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 Yawe akangolaka bomoi ya basali na Ye; mpe bato nyonso oyo bazwaka Ye lokola ebombamelo na bango bakozwa etumbu te.
Jehovah redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
