< Banzembo 28 >

1 Nzembo ya Davidi. Yawe, nazali kobelela Yo! Ozali Libanga na ngai, koboya te koyoka ngai. Soki te, nakozala lokola bato oyo bazali kokita na kunda.
David’s. Unto thee, O Yahweh, do I cry, O my Rock! do not turn in silence from me, —lest, if thou turn from me in silence, I be like them who go down into the pit.
2 Yoka ngai tango nabondelaka Yo mpo na kosenga lisungi, tango natombolaka maboko na ngai, na kotala na ngambo ya Esika-Oyo-Eleki-Bule.
Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee for help, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy shrine.
3 Kokumba ngai te elongo na bato mabe, elongo na bato oyo basalaka mabe, oyo balobaka makambo ya kimia epai ya baninga na bango, kasi babombaka mabe kati na mitema na bango.
Do not drag me away—with the lawless, or with the workers of iniquity, —who speak peaceably with their neighbours, but, wrong, is in their heart.
4 Zongisela bango kolanda misala na bango, kolanda misala mabe na bango; zongisela bango kolanda misala ya maboko na bango, mpe kweyisela bango oyo ekoki na misala na bango.
Give them, according to their deed, and, according to the wrong of their practices, —According to the work of their own hands, give thou unto them, Bring back their own dealing to themselves.
5 Pamba te bamemiaka te misala ya Yawe mpe makambo oyo akokisaka, akobamba bango na mabele mpe akotikala kotelemisa bango lisusu te.
Because they heed not The Deeds of Yahweh, or the Work of his hands, he will pull them down, and not build them.
6 Tika ete Yawe akumisama, pamba te ayanoli mabondeli na ngai.
Blessed be Yahweh, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplication.
7 Yawe azali makasi mpe nguba na ngai; natielaka Ye motema na ngai, mpe asungaka ngai. Motema na ngai etondi na esengo, mpe nazali kokumisa Ye na banzembo na ngai.
Yahweh, is my strength and my shield, In him, hath trusted my heart, and I have found help, —Therefore hath my heart danced for joy, and, with my song, do I praise him.
8 Yawe azali makasi ya bato na Ye, ndako batonga makasi epai wapi mopakolami na Ye azwaka lobiko.
Yahweh, is strength to his people, —And, the all-saving refuge of his Anointed One, is he!
9 Yawe, bikisa bato na Yo mpe pambola libula na Yo; zala mobateli na bango mpe sunga bango mpo na libela.
Oh save thy people, and bless thine inheritance, Tend them also, and carry them, Unto times age-abiding.
