Banzembo 24
1 Nzembo ya Davidi. Mabele mpe nyonso oyo ezali kati na yango ezali ya Yawe. Mokili mpe ezali ya Yawe, elongo na bavandi na yango.
The earth and everything in it belongs to Yahweh; all the people in the world belong to him, too,
2 Pamba te ezali Yawe nde atia yango na likolo ya bibale minene mpe apikaki yango na likolo ya miluka.
because he caused the ground to be above the water, above the water that was deep below the surface of the earth.
3 Nani akokoka komata ngomba ya Yawe? Nani akokoka kotelema kati na Esika na Ye ya bule?
Who will be allowed to go up on Zion Hill [in Jerusalem], in order to stand [and worship] in Yahweh’s holy temple?
4 Ezali moto oyo azali maboko pembe mpe motema peto, oyo atiaka elikya te na banzambe ya bikeko mpe alapaka ndayi ya lokuta te.
[Only] those whose actions [MTY] and thoughts are pure, who have not worshiped idols, and who do not tell lies when they have solemnly promised [to tell the truth].
5 Yawe akopambola ye; mpe Nzambe, Mobikisi na ye, akokomisa ye sembo.
(They will be blessed by Yahweh/Yahweh will bless them). When God [judges them], he, who has saved them, will say that they (have done nothing wrong/are without fault).
6 Ndenge wana nde ezali, ekeke ya bato oyo bakangamaka na Yo, ba-oyo balukaka elongi na Yo, Nzambe ya Jakobi.
They are the ones who approach God, they are the ones who may worship God, the one [we] Israelis worship.
7 Bino bikuke, botombola mitondo na bino! Bino bikuke ya kala, bomitombola! Tika ete Mokonzi ya nkembo akota!
Open up [APO] the [temple] gates in order that our glorious king may enter!
8 Nani azali Mokonzi yango ya nkembo? Ezali Yawe, Elombe ya nguya; Yawe, Elombe ya bitumba.
[Do you know] who the glorious king is? He is Yahweh, the one who is very strong [DOU]; He is Yahweh, who conquers [all his enemies] in battles!
9 Bino bikuke, botombola mitondo na bino! Bino bikuke ya kala, bomitombola! Tika ete Mokonzi ya nkembo akota!
Open up the [temple] gates in order that our glorious king may enter!
10 Nani azali Mokonzi yango ya nkembo? Ezali Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, nde azali Mokonzi ya nkembo!
[Do you know] who the glorious king is? He is Yahweh almighty; he is our glorious king!
