Banzembo 18
1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Davidi, mosali na Yawe. Ayembelaki Yawe nzembo na maloba oyo, tango Yawe akangolaki ye wuta na maboko ya banguna na ye nyonso mpe na loboko ya Saulo. Oh Yawe, makasi na ngai, nalingaka Yo.
For the Leader. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul; And he said: I love thee, O LORD, my strength.
2 Yawe azali libanga na ngai, ndako na ngai ya makasi mpe mokangoli na ngai; azali Nzambe na ngai, libanga na ngai mpe ebombamelo na ngai; azali nguba na ngai, Mobikisi na ngai, mpe ekimelo na ngai.
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in Him I take refuge; my shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower.
3 Nabelelaki Yawe oyo abongi na lokumu, mpe nakangolamaki wuta na maboko ya banguna na ngai.
Praised, I cry, is the LORD, and I am saved from mine enemies.
4 Basinga ya kufa efinaki ngai, mpela ya libebi epesaki ngai somo.
The cords of Death compassed me, and the floods of Belial assailed me.
The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of Death confronted me. (Sheol h7585)
6 Kati na pasi na ngai, nabelelaki Yawe, nagangaki epai ya Nzambe na ngai mpo ete asunga ngai. Yawe ayokaki mongongo na ngai wuta na Tempelo na Ye; koganga na ngai mpo na kosenga lisungi ekomaki kino na matoyi na Ye.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God; out of His temple He heard my voice, and my cry came before Him unto His ears.
7 Mabele ekomaki koningana makasi, miboko ya bangomba elengaki mpe ebukanaki, pamba te Yawe asilikaki.
Then the earth did shake and quake, the foundations also of the mountains did tremble; they were shaken, because He was wroth.
8 Milinga ekomaki kobima na zolo na Ye, moto makasi elongo na makala ya moto ekomaki kobima na monoko na Ye.
Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him.
9 Yawe afungolaki Lola mpe akitaki; mapata ya mwindo ezalaki na se ya matambe na Ye.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.
10 Amataki na likolo ya Sheribe mpe apumbwaki, apepaki na mapapu ya mopepe.
And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He did swoop down upon the wings of the wind.
11 Akomisaki molili ebombamelo na Ye, kapo na Ye, oyo ezingelaki Ye; mapata minene ezingelaki Ye, mwindo lokola mayi ya mozindo.
He made darkness His hiding-place, His pavilion round about Him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12 Kongenga oyo ezalaki liboso na Ye ezalaki kokimisa mapata, konokisa mvula ya mabanga mpe kobimisa makala ya moto.
At the brightness before Him, there passed through His thick clouds hailstones and coals of fire.
13 Yawe agangaki wuta na Lola, mongongo ya Ye-Oyo-Aleki-Likolo eyokanaki na nzela ya mvula ya mabanga mpe makala ya moto.
The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High gave forth His voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
14 Abwakaki makonga na Ye mpe atindaki yango na bangambo nyonso; abakisaki motango ya mikalikali mpo na kopalanganisa yango.
And He sent out His arrows, and scattered them; and He shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 Yawe, tango ogangelaki yango, na nzela ya pema na Yo mpe ya milinga ya zolo na Yo, nzela oyo mayi ya ebale elekelaka ebimaki, miboko ya mokili emonanaki na libanda.
And the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare, at Thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Thy nostrils.
16 Atandaki loboko na Ye wuta na likolo, akamataki ngai mpe abimisaki ngai na likama oyo nazalaki na yango kati na mayi ya mozindo makasi;
He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.
17 akangolaki ngai wuta na maboko ya monguna na ngai ya nguya mpe ya bayini na ngai, pamba te balekaki ngai na makasi.
He delivered me from mine enemy most strong, and from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
18 Babundisaki ngai, na mokolo oyo pasi ezalaki kokanga ngai, kasi Yawe azalaki eyekamelo na ngai.
They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was a stay unto me.
19 Abimisaki ngai mpo na kokomisa ngai nsomi, akangolaki ngai, pamba te alingaka ngai.
He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.
20 Yawe asaleli ngai makambo wana kolanda bosembo na ngai, afuti ngai kolanda bopeto ya maboko na ngai;
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.
21 pamba te nabateli banzela ya Yawe, napesi Nzambe na ngai mokongo te lokola bato mabe.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 Natosaka mibeko na Ye nyonso mpe nabatelaka bikateli na Ye.
For all His ordinances were before me, and I put not away His statutes from me.
23 Epai na Ye, nazalaki moto oyo azangi pamela mpe namibatelaki mpo ete nasala masumu te.
And I was single-hearted with Him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24 Yawe afuti ngai kolanda bosembo na ngai, kolanda bopeto ya maboko na ngai na miso na Ye.
Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.
25 Solo, otalisaka bosembo na Yo epai ya moto oyo atambolaka na bosembo, mpe bolamu na Yo, epai ya moto oyo azangi pamela.
With the merciful Thou dost show Thyself merciful, with the upright man Thou dost show Thyself upright;
26 Otalisaka bopeto na Yo epai ya moto ya peto, kasi omibombaka liboso ya moto oyo atambolaka nyoka-nyoka.
With the pure Thou dost show Thyself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
27 Yo nde obikisaka banyokolami, okitisaka bato na lofundu.
For Thou dost save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes Thou dost humble.
28 Yawe, Nzambe na ngai, Yo nde opelisaka mwinda na ngai; obongolaka molili na ngai pole.
For Thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God doth lighten my darkness.
29 Elongo na Yo, nabundisaka mampinga oyo elati bibundeli; mpe na lisungi ya Nzambe na ngai, nakatisaka bamir.
For by Thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I scale a wall.
30 Nzela ya Nzambe ezali ya kokoka, Liloba na Yawe ezali na mbeba te; azali nguba mpo na bato nyonso oyo bazwaka Ye lokola ebombamelo na bango.
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
31 Nani azali Nzambe soki Yawe te? Nani azali libanga soki Nzambe na biso te?
For who is God, save the LORD? And who is a Rock, except our God?
32 Nzambe apesaka ngai makasi mpe akomisaka nzela na ngai ya kokoka;
The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way straight;
33 akomisaka makolo na ngai lokola ya mboloko, mpe avandisaka ngai na bisika ya likolo;
Who maketh my feet like hinds', and setteth me upon my high places;
34 alakisaka ngai kobunda, mpe maboko na ngai ekoki kobenda tolotolo ya bronze.
Who traineth my hands for war, so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
35 Okomisaka lobiko na Yo nguba na ngai, loboko na Yo ya mobali elendisaka ngai, mpe lisungi na Yo ekomisaka ngai makasi.
Thou hast also given me Thy shield of salvation, and Thy right hand hath holden me up; and Thy condescension hath made me great.
36 Otambolisaka ngai na kimia, mpe makolo na ngai elengaka te.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
37 Nalandaka banguna na ngai, mpe nakangaka bango; nazongaka kaka soki nasilisi koboma bango.
I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them; neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
38 Nabebisaka bango nye, mpe bakokaka lisusu kotelema te; bakweyaka na se ya matambe na ngai.
I have smitten them through, so that they are not able to rise; they are fallen under my feet.
39 Opesaka ngai makasi ya bitumba, ogumbaka banguna na ngai mpe otiaka bango na se ya matambe na ngai.
For Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle; Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 Okimisaka banguna na ngai mosika na ngai, mpe nabebisaka bayini na ngai.
Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, and I did cut off them that hate me.
41 Bagangaka mpo na koluka lisungi, kasi moto oyo akokaki kobikisa bango azalaka te; babelelaka Yawe, kasi ayanolaka bango te.
They cried, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but He answered them not.
42 Nanikaka bango lokola putulu oyo mopepe epumbwisaka, nanyataka bango lokola potopoto ya nzela.
Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
43 Olongisaka ngai na bitumba ya bato, obatelaka ngai mpo ete nazala mokambi ya bikolo. Bato oyo nayebaki te bakomi kosalela ngai.
Thou hast delivered me from the contentions of the people; Thou hast made me the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known serve me.
44 Soki kaka bayoki ngai, batosaka ngai; mpe bapaya bayaka mpo ete nasepela na bango.
As soon as they hear of me, they obey me; the sons of the stranger dwindle away before me.
45 Bango nyonso balembi nzoto mpe bakomi kobima na kolenga wuta na bandako na bango ya makasi.
The sons of the stranger fade away, and come trembling out of their close places.
46 Longonya na Yawe! Tika ete Ye oyo azali libanga na ngai akumisama! Tika ete Nzambe ya lobiko na ngai anetolama!
The LORD liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation;
47 Azali Nzambe oyo abundelaka ngai, oyo atiaka bikolo na se ya matambe na ngai,
Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and subdueth peoples under me.
48 oyo akangolaka ngai wuta na maboko ya banguna na ngai. Olongisaka ngai liboso ya banguna na ngai, obikisaka ngai na maboko ya banguna na ngai.
He delivereth me from mine enemies; yea, Thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
49 Yango wana, nakosanzola Yo, Yawe, kati na bikolo; nakoyemba mpo na lokumu ya Kombo na Yo.
Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name.
50 Yawe apesaka elonga monene epai ya mokonzi na Ye, atalisaka bolingo na Ye epai ya mopakolami na Ye, epai ya Davidi mpe epai ya libota na ye, mpo na libela.
Great salvation giveth He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
