< Banzembo 17 >
1 Libondeli ya Davidi. Oh Yawe, yoka ngai! Kolela na ngai ezali sembo! Yoka koganga na ngai! Landa malamu libondeli na ngai, oyo ezali kobimela te na bibebu ya lokuta.
The prayer of Dauid. Heare the right, O Lord, consider my crye: hearken vnto my prayer of lips vnfained.
2 Tika ete, na mitindo na Yo, bosembo na ngai emonisama solo mpe miso na Yo emona oyo ezali alima!
Let my sentence come forth from thy presence, and let thine eyes beholde equitie.
3 Soki otali malamu motema na ngai, soki olandeli ngai ata na butu mpe omeki ngai, okomona ete nasalaki mabongisi ya mabe te, monoko na ngai ebukaki mobeko te.
Thou hast prooued and visited mine heart in the night: thou hast tryed me, and foundest nothing: for I was purposed that my mouth should not offend.
4 Ata tango bato bamekaki kopesa ngai kanyaka, nabatelaki kaka maloba na Yo mpo ete natambola te na banzela ya bato ya masumu.
Concerning the workes of men, by the wordes of thy lips I kept mee from the paths of the cruell man.
5 Matambe na ngai ezalaka kaka na banzela na Yo, napengwaka te.
Stay my steps in thy paths, that my feete doe not slide.
6 Nzambe na ngai, nabelelaka Yo, pamba te oyanolaka ngai. Yoka libondeli na ngai.
I haue called vpon thee: surely thou wilt heare me, O God: incline thine eare to me, and hearken vnto my wordes.
7 Yo oyo obikisaka mpe okangolaka, na nzela ya loboko na Yo ya mobali, bato oyo bazwaka Yo lokola ebombamelo na bango, lakisa ngai misala kitoko ya bolingo monene na Yo.
Shewe thy marueilous mercies, thou that art the Sauiour of them that trust in thee, from such as resist thy right hand.
8 Batela ngai lokola mbuma ya liso, bomba ngai na se ya mapapu na Yo,
Keepe me as the apple of the eye: hide me vnder the shadowe of thy wings,
9 mosika ya bato mabe oyo bazali konyokola ngai, mosika ya banguna na ngai oyo bazingeli ngai.
From the wicked that oppresse mee, from mine enemies, which compasse me round about for my soule.
10 Bakomisi mitema na bango makasi, mpe bazali koloba na lolendo.
They are inclosed in their owne fat, and they haue spoken proudely with their mouth.
11 Bazali kolanda ngai, basili kozingela ngai, mpe bazali koluka ndenge nini kobwaka ngai na mabele.
They haue compassed vs now in our steps: they haue set their eyes to bring downe to the ground:
12 Bazali lokola nkosi oyo etondi na posa makasi ya kokanga nyama, lokola nkosi ya kanda makasi kati na ebombamelo na yango.
Like as a lyon that is greedy of pray, and as it were a lyons whelp lurking in secret places.
13 Yawe, telema, kutana na bango mpe bebisa bango; na nzela ya mopanga na Yo, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato mabe.
Vp Lord, disappoint him: cast him downe: deliuer my soule from the wicked with thy sworde,
14 Yawe, na nzela ya nguya na Yo, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato wana, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato ya mokili oyo. Tika ete kufa ezala litomba na bango! Tika ete, bango mpe bana na bango, balia na lokoso, mpe mabumu na bango etonda na bikolo oyo obombaka mpo na bango; bongo babomba ndambo oyo ekotikala mpo na bakitani na bango!
From men by thine hand, O Lord, from men of the world, who haue their portion in this life, whose bellies thou fillest with thine hid treasure: their children haue ynough, and leaue the rest of their substance for their children.
15 Mpo na ngai, sima na ngai kolonga, nakotala elongi na Yo; sima na ngai kolamuka, nakosepela na komona Yo!
But I will beholde thy face in righteousnes, and when I awake, I shalbe satisfied with thine image.
