1 Bokumisa Yawe! Tala ndenge ezali malamu kosanzola Nzambe na biso, mpe ndenge ezali kitoko kokumisa Ye!

2 Yawe azali kotonga lisusu Yelusalemi epai wapi akosangisa bato ya Isalaele oyo bakenda na bowumbu.
The Lord schal bilde Jerusalem; and schal gadere togidere the scateryngis of Israel.
3 Abikisaka bato oyo batutami na mitema mpe akawusaka bapota na bango.
Which Lord makith hool men contrit in herte; and byndith togidere the sorewes of hem.
4 Ayebi motango ya minzoto mpe abengaka moko na moko na kombo na yango.
Which noumbrith the multitude of sterris; and clepith names to alle tho.
5 Nkolo na biso azali monene mpe atonda na nguya; mayele na Ye ezali na mondelo te.
Oure Lord is greet, and his vertu is greet; and of his wisdom is no noumbre.
6 Yawe asungaka babola, kasi akitisaka bato mabe kino na mabele.
The Lord takith vp mylde men; forsothe he makith low synneris `til to the erthe.
7 Boyembela Yawe nzembo ya matondi! Bobetela Nzambe na biso lindanda mpo na kosanzola Ye!
Bifore synge ye to the Lord in knoulechyng; seye ye salm to oure God in an harpe.
8 Azipaka likolo na mapata, abongisaka mvula mpo na mokili mpe abotisaka matiti na bangomba.
Which hilith heuene with cloudis; and makith redi reyn to the erthe. Which bryngith forth hei in hillis; and eerbe to the seruice of men.
9 Apesaka bilei epai ya bibwele mpe epai ya bana ya yanganga oyo ezali koganga mpo na nzala.
Which yyueth mete to her werk beestis; and to the briddys of crowis clepinge hym.
10 Asepelaka na makasi ya mpunda te mpe alingaka te nguya ya moto;
He schal not haue wille in the strengthe of an hors; nether it schal be wel plesaunt to hym in the leggis of a man.
11 kasi Yawe asepelaka na bato oyo batosaka Ye, ba-oyo batielaka bolingo na Ye motema.
It is wel plesaunt to the Lord on men that dreden hym; and in hem that hopen on his mercy.
12 Yelusalemi, pesa nkembo na Yawe! Siona, kumisa Nzambe na yo!
Jerusalem, herie thou the Lord; Syon, herie thou thi God.
13 Alendisaka bikangelo ya bikuke na yo mpe apambolaka bana na yo epai na yo.
For he hath coumfortid the lockis of thi yatis; he hath blessid thi sones in thee.
14 Atiaka kimia na etuka na yo mpe atondisaka yo na farine.
Which hath set thi coostis pees; and fillith thee with the fatnesse of wheete.
15 Atindaka mitindo na Ye na mokili, mpe maloba na Ye epanzanaka mbala moko!
Which sendith out his speche to the erthe; his word renneth swiftli.
16 Anokisaka mvula ya pembe lokola bapwale ya meme mpe apanzaka mvula ya mabanga lokola putulu;
Which yyueth snow as wolle; spredith abrood a cloude as aische.
17 akweyisaka mabanga ya mvula yango lokola mabanga ya mike-mike; nani akoki kotelema na malili na yango?
He sendith his cristal as mussels; who schal suffre bifore the face of his cooldnesse?
18 Soki kaka atindi liloba, malili ekomaka kosila moke-moke; mpe soki atindi mopepe, mayi ekomaka kotiola.
He schal sende out his word, and schal melte tho; his spirit schal blowe, and watris schulen flowe.
19 Asakolaki liloba na Ye epai ya Jakobi, mibeko mpe malako na Ye epai ya Isalaele.
Which tellith his word to Jacob; and hise riytfulnessis and domes to Israel.
20 Asalaki bongo na ekolo ata moko te; boye eyebaka mpe mibeko na Ye te. Bokumisa Yawe!
He dide not so to ech nacioun; and he schewide not hise domes to hem.
