1 Masanzoli. Nzembo ya Davidi. Nakotombola Yo, Nzambe na ngai, Mokonzi na ngai; nakopambola Kombo na Yo seko na seko.
“A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Mikolo nyonso, nakopambola Yo mpe nakokumisa Kombo na Yo libela na libela.
Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Yawe azali monene, abongi na lokumu; moko te akoki komeka mozindo ya monene na Ye.
Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Bikeke nyonso ekotombola kitoko ya misala na Yo mpe ekopanza sango ya misala na Yo ya minene.
One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
5 Nakolemba te kotatola bikamwa na Yo mpe kongenga makasi ya nkembo na Yo.
On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
6 Bakolobela nguya na Yo ya somo, mpe ngai, nakosakola misala na Yo ya minene.
And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
7 Bakokanisa misala minene ya bolamu na Yo, bakobetela bosembo na Yo maboko.
The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
8 Yawe atonda na ngolu mpe na mawa, asilikaka noki te mpe atonda na bolingo.
Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
9 Yawe azali malamu mpo na bato nyonso, atonda na mawa mpo na bikelamu na Ye nyonso.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
10 Yawe, misala na Yo nyonso ekumisaka Yo! Tika ete bayengebene na Yo bapambola Yo!
All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
11 Bazali koloba ete bokonzi na Yo etondi na nkembo mpe bazali kopanza sango ya misala ya nguya na Yo.
Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
12 Bazali koyebisa bato misala na Yo ya minene mpe kongenga ya nkembo ya bokonzi na Yo.
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Ozali Mokonzi seko na seko, mpe bokonzi na Yo ekowumela libela na libela. Yawe akokisaka bilaka na Ye nyonso, asalaka nyonso na bolingo.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
14 Yawe alendisaka bato nyonso oyo bakweyaka, atelemisaka bato nyonso oyo balembaka.
The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
15 Na bato nyonso oyo batalelaka Yo, opesaka bilei na tango oyo ekoki.
The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
16 Ofungolaka loboko na Yo mpe okokisaka posa ya nyonso oyo ezali na bomoi.
Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 Yawe azali sembo na nyonso oyo asalaka mpe atonda na bolingo kati na misala na Ye nyonso.
Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
18 Yawe azali pene ya bato nyonso oyo babelelaka Ye, ya bato nyonso oyo babelelaka Ye na solo;
The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
19 akokisaka posa ya bato oyo batosaka Ye, ayokaka mpe abikisaka bango tango babelelaka Ye.
The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
20 Yawe abatelaka bato nyonso oyo balingaka Ye, kasi abebisaka bato nyonso ya mabe.
The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Tika ete monoko na ngai ekumisa Yawe! Tika ete bikelamu nyonso epambola Kombo na Ye ya bule libela na libela!
The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
