< Banzembo 135 >
1 Bokumisa Yawe! Bokumisa Kombo ya Yawe! Bokumisa Ye, bino basali ya Yawe,
Hallelujah. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord;
2 oyo botelemaka kati na Ndako ya Yawe, kati na lopango ya Ndako ya Nzambe na biso!
Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Bokumisa Yawe! Pamba te Yawe azali malamu! Boyembela Kombo na Ye, pamba te ezali kitoko makasi.
Hallelujah; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is lovely.
4 Pamba te Yawe aponaki Jakobi, Isalaele, mpo ete azala ya Ye moko.
For Jacob hath the Lord chosen unto himself, Israel, as his peculiar treasure.
5 Solo, ngai nayebi malamu ete Yawe azali monene, ete Nkolo na biso aleki banzambe nyonso.
For I well know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Yawe asalaka nyonso oyo alingi, kuna na likolo mpe awa na mabele, kati na bibale minene mpe kati na mozindo nyonso.
Whatsoever the Lord willeth, hath he done in the heavens, and on the earth, in the seas, and in all the deeps.
7 Amatisaka mapata wuta na suka ya mokili, atindaka mikalikali elongo na mvula, abimisaka mopepe wuta na bibombelo na yango.
He causeth clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with the rain; he bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 Ye nde abomaki bana ya liboso ya Ejipito, kobanda na bato kino na banyama;
[He it is] who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and of cattle;
9 atindaki bilembo ya kokamwa mpe bikamwa kati na yo, Ejipito, mpo na kotelemela Faraon mpe basali na ye nyonso;
Who sent signs and wonderful tokens into the midst of thee, O Egypt, against Pharaoh, and against all his servants;
10 abebisaki bikolo ebele mpe abomaki bakonzi ya nguya:
Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Sikoni, mokonzi ya bato ya Amori; Ogi, mokonzi ya Bashani; mpe bakonzi nyonso ya Kanana.
Sichon the king of the Emorites, and 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12 Mpe akabaki mikili na bango lokola libula, lokola libula epai ya bato na Ye, Isalaele.
And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance unto Israel his people.
13 Oh Yawe, sango ya Kombo na Yo ewumelaka libela na libela! Yawe, bakopanza sango ya Kombo na Yo seko na seko!
O Lord, thy name [endureth] for ever: O Lord, thy memorial is throughout all generations.
14 Pamba te Yawe akolimbisa bato na Ye, akoyokela basali na Ye mawa.
For the Lord will espouse the cause of his people, and concerning his servants will he bethink himself.
15 Banzambe ya bikolo ezali ya palata mpe ya wolo, esalema na maboko ya bato.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men.
16 Ezali na minoko, kasi elobaka te; ezali na miso, kasi emonaka te;
Mouths they have, but they speak not; eyes they have, but they see not;
17 ezali na matoyi, kasi eyokaka te; ezali ata na pema te kati na minoko na yango.
Ears they have, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth.
18 Bato oyo basalaka yango mpe bato nyonso oyo batielaka yango motema bakokani na yango.
Like them are those that make them, every one that trusteth in them.
19 Bato ya Isalaele, bopambola Yawe! Bakitani ya Aron, bopambola Yawe!
O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord; O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord.
20 Bakitani ya Levi, bopambola Yawe! Bino nyonso oyo botosaka Yawe, bopambola Yawe!
O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord; ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 Tika ete, wuta na Siona, Yawe apambolama, Ye oyo avandaka na Yelusalemi! Bokumisa Yawe!
Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, even he that resideth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
