< Banzembo 126 >

1 Nzembo ya mobembo mpo na kokende na Tempelo ya Yawe. Tango Yawe azongisaki bato ya Siona longwa na bowumbu, tozalaki lokola bato oyo bazali kolota ndoto.
A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers.
2 Boye, tozalaki koganga mpe koyemba na esengo. Bongo, maloba oyo ekomaki kolobama kati na bikolo: « Yawe asaleli bango makambo minene! »
Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 Solo, Yawe asaleli biso makambo minene, mpe tozali kosepela.
The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.
4 Yawe, yaka kobongisa makambo na biso ndenge kaka otondisaka lisusu miluka ya Negevi.
Restore our captives, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 Bato oyo balonaka na mpinzoli babukaka na banzembo ya esengo.
Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.
6 Moto oyo akendaka na kolela, tango amemi milona na ye, azongaka na esengo wana amemi maboke na ye.
He who goes out weeping, bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain.
