1 Nalingaka Yawe, pamba te ayokaka mongongo mpe mabondeli na ngai.
I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;
2 Ayokaki ngai; boye nakobelela Ye bomoi na ngai mobimba.
Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
3 Minyololo ya kufa ezingelaki ngai, somo ya mboka ya bakufi ekangaki ngai; nakomaki moto ya pasi mpe ya mawa. (Sheol h7585)
The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol h7585)
4 Kasi nabelelaki Kombo ya Yawe: « Yawe, nabondeli Yo, bikisa ngai! »
But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.
5 Yawe asalaka ngolu mpe azali sembo, Nzambe na biso ayokelaka bato mawa.
Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.
6 Yawe abatelaka bato oyo bazangi mayele. Nalembaki nzoto, kasi abikisi ngai.
Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.
7 Molimo na ngai, zongela kimia na yo, pamba te Yawe asaleli yo bolamu.
Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 Solo, okangoli ngai na kufa, okawusi mpinzoli na ngai mpe obateli makolo na ngai ete ekweya te.
For thou hast rescued my soul from death, —mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
9 Nakotambola liboso ya Yawe kati na mokili ya bato ya bomoi.
I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.
10 Solo, nazalaka na elikya, ezala soki nalobaka: « Nazali moto na pasi makasi. »
I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
11 Kati na mitungisi na ngai, nazalaki komilobela: « Bato nyonso bazali bakosi. »
I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
12 Nini nakoki kozongisela Yawe mpo na bolamu na Ye nyonso epai na ngai?
How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
13 Nakotombola kopo ya elonga mpe nakobelela Kombo ya Yawe.
The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
14 Nakokokisa bandayi na ngai epai na Yawe na miso ya bato na Ye nyonso.
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
15 Kufa ya bayengebene ya Yawe ezali na motuya makasi na miso na Ye.
Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
16 Yawe, yoka ngai, nazali mosali na Yo. Nazali mosali na Yo, mwana mobali ya mwasi mosali na Yo. Ofungoli minyololo oyo ekangaki ngai.
I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
17 Nakobonzela Yo mbeka mpo na kozongisa matondi, mpe nakobelela Kombo ya Yawe.
To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
18 Nakokokisa bandayi na ngai epai na Yawe na miso ya bato na Ye nyonso,
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —
19 kati na lopango ya Tempelo ya Yawe; kati na yo, Yelusalemi. Bokumisa Yawe!
In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
