< Banzembo 104 >

1 Eh molimo na ngai, pambola Yawe! Yawe, Nzambe na ngai, ozali monene! Olata kongenga mpe lokumu,
I give praise to Yahweh with all my life, Yahweh my God, you are very magnificent; you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
2 omifinika moyi lokola kazaka, otanda likolo lokola ndako ya kapo.
You cover yourself with light as with a garment; you spread out the heavens like a tent curtain.
3 Opika makonzi na yango na mayi ya likolo, okomisaka mapata shar na Yo, otambolaka na mapapu ya mopepe.
You lay the beams of your chambers on the clouds; you make the clouds your chariot; you walk on the wings of the wind.
4 Okomisaka bantoma na Yo mipepe, mpe basali na Yo, ndemo ya moto.
He makes the winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
5 Otia mokili na likolo ya miboko na yango mpo ete eningana te seko na seko.
He laid the foundations of the earth, and it will never be moved.
6 Ozipa yango na mayi monene lokola elamba; mayi ezalaki kovanda na likolo ya bangomba.
You covered the earth with water like a garment; the water covered the mountains.
7 Kasi na pamela na Yo, mayi ekimaki; na lokito ya kake na Yo, mayi etiolaki,
Your rebuke made the waters recede; at the sound of your thunderous voice they fled.
8 emataki na likolo ya bangomba, ekitaki na mabwaku, na bisika oyo obongisaki mpo na yango.
The mountains rose, and the valleys spread out into the places that you had appointed for them.
9 Otiaki mondelo oyo ekoki koleka te; ekozonga lisusu te kozipa mokili.
You have set a boundary for them that they will not cross; they will not cover the earth again.
10 Obimisaka mayi ya bitima mpo na kosopa yango na mayi minene oyo elekaka na kati-kati ya bangomba;
He made springs flow into the valleys; the streams flow between the mountains.
11 ekomaka mayi ya komela mpo na banyama nyonso ya bilanga mpe mpo na ba-ane ya zamba.
They supply water for all the animals of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 Bandeke ya likolo evandaka pembeni ya mayi yango mpe eyembaka kati na makasa.
By the riverbanks the birds build their nests; they sing among the branches.
13 Wuta na bandako na Yo ya likolo, onokisaka mvula na likolo ya bangomba; mokili etondi na mbuma ya misala na Yo.
He waters the mountains from his water chambers in the sky. The earth is filled with the fruit of his labor.
14 Matiti ebotaka mpo na bibwele, mpe milona ya bato ekolaka mpo ete mabele ebotela bango bilei,
He makes the grass grow for the cattle and plants for man to cultivate so that man may produce food from the earth.
15 vino mpo na kosepelisa mitema na bango, mafuta mpo na kongengisa bilongi na bango, mpe mapa mpo na kolendisa mitema na bango.
He makes wine to make man happy, oil to make his face shine, and food to sustain his life.
16 Banzete ya Yawe etondi na mayi; ndenge wana nde ezali, banzete ya sedele ya Libani, oyo Yawe alona.
The trees of Yahweh get plenty of rain; the cedars of Lebanon which he planted.
17 Bandeke esalaka bazala na yango kuna, mpe nkoko evandaka na banzete ya sipele.
There the birds make their nests. The stork makes the cypress tree her home.
18 Bangomba milayi ezali ekimelo mpo na bantaba ya zamba, mpe madusu ya mabanga ezali bibombamelo mpo na bampanya ya zamba.
The wild goats live on the high mountains; the mountain heights are a refuge for the hyraxes.
19 Osala sanza mpo na koyeba mikolo ya bafeti. Moyi eyebi tango na yango ya kolala.
He appointed the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting.
20 Otindaka molili, mpe butu ekomaka. Bongo banyama nyonso ya zamba ekomaka kotambola-tambola.
You make the darkness of the night when all the beasts of the forest come out.
21 Bana ya nkosi egangaka sima na nyama mpe esengaka bilei epai ya Nzambe.
The young lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.
22 Soki moyi ebimi, nkosi elongwaka, ezongaka mpo na kolala na bisika na yango;
When the sun rises, they retreat and sleep in their dens.
23 kasi moto abimaka mpo na kokende na mosala na ye mpe asalaka kino na pokwa.
Meanwhile, people go out to their work and labor away until the evening.
24 Oh Yawe, misala na Yo ezali ebele! Osalaki nyonso na bwanya; mokili etondi na biloko oyo okela.
Yahweh, how many and varied are your works! With wisdom you made them all; the earth overflows with your works.
25 Tala ndenge ebale monene ezali molayi mpe epanzana, etonda na banyama oyo tokoki kotanga te, kobanda na oyo eleki mike kino na oyo eleki minene.
Over there is the sea, deep and wide, teeming with innumerable creatures, both small and great.
26 Kuna, bamasuwa ekendeke mpe ezongaka; bongo Leviatani oyo osala mpo ete esakanaka kuna.
The ships travel there, and Leviathan is also there, which you formed to play in the sea.
27 Nyonso etalelaka Yo mpo ete opesa yango bilei na tango oyo ekoki.
All these look to you to give them their food on time.
28 Opesaka bilei, mpe ezwaka yango; ofungolelaka yango loboko na Yo, mpe etondaka na biloko.
When you give to them, they gather; when you open your hand, they are satisfied.
29 Tango obombaka elongi na Yo, somo ekangaka yango; tango olongolaka yango pema, ekufaka mpe ezongaka na putulu;
When you hide your face, they are troubled; if you take away their breath, they die and return to dust.
30 tango otindaka pema Yo, ezwaka bomoi; mpe okomisaka mokili sika.
When you send out your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the countryside.
31 Tika ete nkembo ya Yawe ewumela libela na libela! Tika ete Yawe asepela na misala na Ye!
May the glory of Yahweh last forever; may Yahweh enjoy his creation.
32 Soki atali mokili, mokili elengaka; soki asimbi bangomba, ebimisaka milinga.
He looks down on the earth, and it shakes; he touches the mountains, and they smoke.
33 Nakoyembela Yawe bomoi na ngai mobimba; nakoyembela Nzambe na ngai tango nyonso nazali na bomoi.
I will sing to Yahweh all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
34 Tika ete maloba na ngai esepelisa Ye! Tika ete Yawe azala esengo na ngai!
May my thoughts be sweet to him; I will rejoice in Yahweh.
35 Tika ete bato ya masumu basila na mokili, mpe bato mabe bazala lisusu te! Oh molimo na ngai, pambola Yawe! Aleluya, bokumisa Yawe!
May sinners vanish from the earth, and let the wicked be no more. I give praise to Yahweh with all my life. Praise Yahweh.
